The Allen Buttstock Shotgun Shell Holder is the perfect way to hold extra sheels on your shotgun. This shell holder holds 5 rounds and comes in a black finish.
Good quality product.
The shell holder is kind of tight and hard to use at first but it loosens up with use and still holds your shells securely. Pros: Fits well. Holds the shells securely.

Good, inexpensive, serviceable
Works well. As another reviewer noted, there is no hole for a swivel stud so I did the same thing - cut a hole then melted around it. Good choice for those like myself that don't want to drill mounting holes in their stock or receiver or pay the exorbitant prices for a "tactical" (plastic) shell carrier. I use it to carry a small selection of various shells to have options not already loaded in the magazine.

Right price. Arrived in a timely fashion. Put it on my stock polymer mossberg 500. I shoot righty so the shells are on the right, away from my face. A quick motion (similar to folding your arms, but only with my left hand reaching under and across the action, supporting with my bicep if the need arises while performing this reload maneuver) allows me to pull out a shell and as my hand moves back towards the forend I pop it in the tube or port load. I usually keep it filled with slugs and the tube cruiser carry (one round less) with #1 twelve pellet buck.

It is what it is. Holds five 12g shells just fine. Works for 20g shells also. Doesn't have a hole for a swivel stud, so I had to cut mine, then melt the threads back to keep it from tearing more. Other than that, it does the job. Can't beat it for the price.

I got this one not to fit
I got this one not to fit my buttstock, but to be an arm shell holder. Compared to the expensive ones this will stay perfectly firm on your arm while shooting. I shoot slugs and 00 buck, so stability is not an issue. As I know this isn't the purpose of this item it will work as such. I like to keep novelty rounds in there.
