Won't fit all guns but It's a solid mag
Fit my zastava zpap extremely well. It's a noticeably thicker sheet metal compared to my Bulgarian mags. From experience It won't fit every gun perfectly, i can tell its snug in my zastava and didn't fit a cheaper century arms ak. Last round hold opened works great but it's also a little stiff to load. All in all I would recommend it for a yugo

Major filing and fitting required
mags didn't even remotely try to go in PSAK-47 had to file A LOT on the back and feed lips. Even after I finally got mag to fit it was extremely difficult to load and my rifle jams. I was going for a complete look but I'll stick to PMAGs for function and reliability

Doesn't fit, too big
I have a Clayco AKS-47 and these mags do not fit. Every other mag I have works fine. Do not buy if you want a product that actually functions.

Got the mag to load but i'm going to have to go to confessional. Probably works great in other ak variants but not so hot in the wasr 10/63. Going to hit it with a file in the trouble spots.

I would buy again
Used some 600 grit wet/dry to smooth out the edges where they feed out to make stripping out easier. They worked when cycling with the gun but I didn't want to burn through lots of ammo to make smooth. Most would not fit my I,O, without filing to clear rivit but all worked in my RAS-47 Solid magazine.

Markins on the magazine says "Made in Croatia". Did not fit my n-pap m70 yugo AK had to file some edges to make them fit. At the range it didnt feed my AK properly minor jams.

Very difficult to load with Caldwell mah loader. Does not filt into my Polska AK. Jams. One of the four I bought from CTD locks in without massive effort. Do not buy these, if you're ok with plastic get the Magpuls, no issues yet with those.

Excellent spares``
I bought these as extras for my Inter Ordnance AKM-247, since the Tapco mag's will not lock up without some trimming of the lug which locks into the trigger guard. My Chinese mag.s for my MAK90, work just fine with the IO AKM, as do these Croatians. They lock in nice an tight, are well made and arrive encased in plastic with a coating of preservative on them. I'm flush with AK mag.s now, but wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these or recommend them.

magazine does not sit hig
magazine does not sit high enough in the rifle for the bolt to strip the shells out. when it does it tilts them up and jambs the rifle. have 4 differnt types of magazines and theses are the only ones to behave this way. a magazine that doesn't function is useless

Bought 5 of these. Cheap, EXCELLENT condition, minimal cosmo coating. Fit solid. Just wiped them down and immediately went to the range and loaded each one full 30 rounds and sent it down range. No jams, bolt-hold worked, one of the better AK mag purchases I've made in awhile. Probably buy more. Not to mention, maybe because I'm same-state, but CTD had them shipped next day and I was on the range trying them out a day after that. CTD, y'all are killing it, keep it up.

Loading is nice and tight, my only criticism is the lips where the cartridge Comes out are very sharp I noticed scratches on them and tiny flecks of brass Around the breech. I took an emery cloth and had to sand all the edges smooth Where the cartridge comes in contact with the magazine as it enters the chamber Of the firearm.

The mag I bought has rust
The mag I bought has rust all around the top edges and on the top of the inside. It doenst want to lock into position unless you give it a hard tap. Im going to look into removing the rust. Once the rust is removed I believe that the mag will lock in to position. Other than that no probelms.

These are great, high qua
These are great, high quality, steel magazines. I got these brand new, straight from the factory, it appears. No wear and appear not to have used at all. However, one draw back is that they would not fit into my Vector underfolder AK until I filed down the front of the feed lips with a jeweler's file. On the front of these mags, there is a tiny bit of metal that is not flush with the top of the magazine on the front of the clamp. Five minutes of filing and the problem is solved; they fit. I have compared these mags side by side with some of my older mags, where the front of those mags metal front clamp were flush. I'm not sure why these mags have that little bit of metal protruding upward on the front end, since I can't find that flaw in any of my other mags. But, like I said, a slight bit of filing will fix that problem.

On the one I received, the bottom of it looked like somebody had taken their anger out by slamming the mag down on rocks a few dozen times. Very, very wobbly, but it loads and fires fine; it's just beat up. I doubt most are like the one I got or there would be worse reviews.

I did take them apart and give them a good cleaning, but I do that to every Surplus mag I get. In my opinion, these European mags are some of the best AK mags you can buy. I will be ordering more.

Bought two of these. One was shiny, clean, and fit well in my WASR-10/63. The other one had a very rough surface and was covered in gunk, most likely to prevent rust. But when I tried to put it in my AK, it was really tight. It still went in there, but I kinda had to force it. I believe it just needs a little sanding on the sides and it would fit great. Plan on getting more.

Don't let the picture fool you. It came in a bag well greased and looks completely brand new. No dings, dents, scratches, wear, you name it. Looks completely brand spankin' new. Have not used it yet to test reliability, but being an AK steel mag, I bet it will be just fine. Buy this, you won't regret it. Feels more solid than the Tapco polymer one for obvious reasons. I ordered 3 of these to go with a spam can of 7.62x39mm ammo. All 3 came in plastic and had grease on them. Each mag took 4-5 minutes with a paper towel to get 85% of the grease off, which wasn't too bad. One looked brand new, and the other two had extremely minor finish wear and barely noticeable scratches. I doubt any of them had actually been used. I rate these only 4 bullets because I have yet to actually fire them.Personal note: I own an SKS-NR (Chinese SKS made from the factory to take AK magazines), which is the gun I bought these magazines for. They have a bit more wobble than my Chinese magazines, but it's nothing major. The rib down the back takes a little getting used to, since the Chinese magazines I own do not have the rib.

First one worked great. Had a little rust but still worked great. Second one was so badly damaged I could not even load rounds in it. It looked like someone took a welder and welded the follower to the side of the mag.

I have a bunch of these they all work great. Shipping speed was excellent and the mags are as described. They're surplus magazines from the Eastern Bloc, if you're expecting an awesome finish and pristine quality buy something else. Also, to those complaining about fit: it's your rifle. I have a WASR 10/63 and I have never had any issues with military mags not fitting. I had to pick through a bunch of 10/63s to find one that didn't have a magazine well issue though, so if you're having issues getting magazines to seat and release it ain't the mag, it's your gun. Break out your dremels and get to work or take it to a gunsmith.

I bought six of these mags at one time. I plan to buy six more. I have put around 2000 rounds through six mags and have had ZERO problems. I went with these because I wanted the rugged 'used' been there done that look to my AKMS. They came in less than a week and I was loading 30 rounds in them the day I got them. I went to the range and they performed flawlessly. I highly recommend these mags for anyone who cares not for flash and frills, but rather function.

Bought this last month and today took it to the range for the second time. Loads just fine, but has a tendency to misfeed the ammo causing a jam. Switched to my 40 round mag and after 200 rounds through those mags had no jams at all. Don't know if I got a bad mag, but wouldn't recommend this mag.

Ordered one of these mags after buying a WASR 10/63 from Cabela's (I would have bought the rifle from CTD but they were out). The magazine is in great condition and actually is a tight fit in the rifle. I now have it mixed up with the 2 that came with the rifle. I would buy more but may be able to find the same quality mag a bit cheaper, hence the 4 bullets. I think I will try the 20 round mags though. While also a bit expensive it can't hurt to have at least one. As usual my order was here in 2 days. Awesome!!

Got a great mag, fits without wobble in a WASR-10/63. No rust, pretty heavy cosmoline coating on all surfaces inside & out (that's a good thing in my book). Solid spring with no rust. Has a better finish than the mags that came with my WASR, and frankly I had to look carefully to see any sign of use at all. Prompt shipping as always from CTD, five bullets from me. I only ordered one just to see what I'd get, because I'd read some mixed reviews here, but my mind is at ease now & I'll be ordering more for sure.

I'm somewhat distrustful
I'm somewhat distrustful of polymer magazines, mostly because I'm uncertain of how much abuse they can be put through. No problems with these metal magazines. They fit perfectly in my WASR-10, and feed flawlessly every time. They had a little bit of the protective oil on them, but just wiping them down a bit quickly takes care of that. They came in quickly and were in great shape for having been used. You couldn't even tell on one of them. No feeding problems whatsoever, and loading is a breeze!

I have been very impressed by all the products I have ordered from CTD and this order did not change that. They were just as advertised, good condition, used magazines. I cleaned the cosmoline off, and found them to be in excellent condition. They fit fine in my Norinco underfolder, with no modifications or other nonsense. Highly recommended!

I purchased 2 of these for combat reload practice and, after copious amounts of cleaning, found they fit both my VEPR and WASR-10 better than the polymer mags they came with, and worked perfectly. I'll buy more, but cleaning the oil is a pain.

I was surprised to take the mags out of the bag too find both were very rusty inside and out to the point of pitting. I know it said 'used' but I expected better from CTD. I don't plan on returning them but be forewarned. The ones I received were clearly 'Grade one'.

I only ordered one of these to try it out. The one that I received came packed in a zip-lock bag in a lot of heavy oil, with some spots of corrosion. After cleaning it up with WD-40 and a wire brush it looks nearly as nice and clean as the two mags that came with the rifle. So far, the mag feeds rounds reliably and otherwise functions fine, but it sticks a little in the magazine well as the release catches on the mag's retaining nub, or whatever it's actually called. I haven't taken a file to the mag yet but I believe that this would eliminate any catching.

I have no problem that these mags. They could be dented or look like they been in WW2. I just would like it to work. I bought one of these to test them out. First, I would like to comment on the great fast shipping, as always. But, this product needs some QC. One of the metal lips that holds the rounds in is clearly bent off to the side and will not hold round #1 and every round after that can be pushed straight up and out. It will jam a never jamming WASR 10 every round. Some mags may come as grade 1 but mine is grade 0. I would never advise anyone to take a chance on these.

I bought three of these.
I bought three of these. One was Grade 1, one was Grade 2 (in good condition and fully functional.) The 3rd mag was in poor condition with small rivet sized dents about midway down on the sides. The mag would only load about 8 rounds. I drilled 4 holes into the side of the jacked mag, filed the burrs, brushed the rust away, lightly oiled and----bingo! I now have three solid, functional steel mags. All had rust inside and out. All had to be broken down and cleaned. A piece of cake.

I ordered two of these. One was in great shape, worked well and looked as if it had been used very little. The second was atrocious, rusted all over and pitted. I called CTD to send it back and they sent me a replacement within 3 days. The new one was in good shape and just needed a little cleaning. Great customer service!

I ordered 3 of these magazines based on the positive reviews. Managed to get them all quickly and one was loaded in cosmoline the other two were in a light oil. Pulled them out and the one covered in cosmoline was great, the other 2 needed a lot of work. Both had dented magazine bodies which prevented the follower from traveling. Both had rust issues in the actual magazine bodies. After a hour or so with a hammer, a brass brush, and a file they feed now. Would not recommend for anybody not handy with some tools as they are surplus and you should expect them to need a little tune-up. Would give 3 bullets but the rust issues kind of twisted my judgment.

After about five minutes of degreasing and re-oiling, these mags looked amazing. As long as you don't expect a used military surplus item to be in mint condition, these rock. I bought three, and one arrived brand new. No scratches or anything. Another one was in great condition. The third jammed the minute I tried to load it, so that one is a dud. If you expect something to feed your AK, these will do.

OK, I ordered 3 of these as the TAPCO's that came with my WASR-10 did not fit well. I had one that needed some minor steel wool work, the other 2 were pristine ALL in Cosmoline, ALL functioned in my WASR-10 with no issues, 30 mags took 30 rounds, fired 500 rounds at the range today. The Tapco plastic 30 rounders going to the recycling center.

You can't beat this deal. Metal mags are far better than plastic or composite. It says used in the description and it most certainly was. After disassembley and a good five minutes worth of cleaning it was like brand new. My only issue was the spur on the back being too thick to seat properly. After only a couple of passes with a flat file, it fit like a glove and operated quite smoothly. There were no problems feeding or ejecting. It's been hard to find a low priced mag for a MAK-90, but this was it and i'll be ordering more. Great value for an even better price. Thanks C.T.D.!

Both my dad and me own an AK style rifles. His is a Yugo and mine is Romanian. I just recently got another AK style pistol, and these mags work well in all of the rifles. Some of these kind of mags don't go in far enough and don't allow for a smooth feed, but never had any problems when using these mags. They work well!

I purchased 5 of these for my M70 under-folder, as others have said some look new some look used. They all fit the M70 with minor trimming of the catch tab. I think for the price you can't go wrong, these magazines are very easy to take apart, and clean (I use mineral spirits and a rag, then a light spray of rem-oil on the spring).

This is the absolute stan
This is the absolute standard in ak mags. Its probably what came with yours when you bought it and its what came with my M70AB2. Very good mag, great condition, in need of a few minutes TLC. Little bit of elbow grease and the cosmoline and junk was gone. Reliably cycled a round by hand and a nice snug fit with no mag wobble. Between these and the tapcos (which I have not shot with yet) you can't go wrong.

They come covered in cosm
They come covered in cosmo-line or some other grease, so be prepared to clean them well. (Soak in boiling hot soapy water for an hour or so, take out of water and wipe down until all cosmo is gone, but be careful because the parts might burn you if not careful.) I bought 2 of these. One worked perfectly after the cleaning and one did not. Fairly easy fix though; I squeezed the feed lips together with a vise and 'modified' the follower (I removed the back clip/piece and it worked perfect), then fired 30 rounds through the mag 4 times and it fed perfectly. Some minor rust on both, but nothing that I couldn't steel wool off. All in all, the magazines are very sturdy, just like the mags that came with my gun(WASR 10 with original AK mags), and with little effort look and function like new.

Update this mag does NOT WORK in my WASR as the bolt wont catch the round to chamber it. I tried it again in the Norinco, and it worked in there. I think this is last steel mag for me. I am going to stay with reliable and much lighter poly mags. That also goes for AR mags. The mag problems I have is in no way related to CTD, they did another awsome job on order and delivery.

I bought one of these mag
I bought one of these mags to give it a shot. It was oily but not bad. I gave it a good cleansing and looks great. It was a little worn around the mouth, but it is used. It had no rust and fit well in both the WASR-10, and Mak-90 with no problems. I have to pick up a few more.

I guess I'm just lucky, but the one CTD sent me did not fit or feed that great. I ended up using this follower and spring in another magazine I bought that didn't work, and now at least I finally have a functional steel mag.

They come covered in cosm
They come covered in cosmo-line or some other grease, so be prepared to clean them well. I bought 2. One worked perfectly and one did not. Fairly easy fix; I squeezed the feed lips together with a vise and 'modified' the follower and it worked. Haven't fired with them yet, but they cycle fine. Some rust, but nothing that I couldn't steel wool off. All in all, they seem sturdy like the mags that came with my gun, and with a little effort look like new. Expect this when you buy surplus like this.

Bought one for my WASR 10
Bought one for my WASR 10/63. Figured the price was low enough that if it didn't fit right or anything else was wrong with it, no big loss. All I can say is, wow! Perfect fit, no wobble at all. Will definitely be getting a couple more. Yes, it was dirty, but nothing a little Hoppes #9 couldn't get rid of.

I ordered one of these and I'm happy with it. The mag was very dirty when it arrived, it took me over 20 minutes to clean it. There was a small amount of rust but not a big deal. As long as you don't mind cleaning them these mags are a good deal. Fast shipping as always.

These mag's seem to be of good quality, and function without a hitch. My concern or complaint is why when CTD packages these mag's, these can't BE cleaned by them? Everyone of mine (4) came in a separate bag, but with rust on each side. I shouldn't have to clean a new product, surplus or not!!!

This mag has seen a lot of use. It was squeezed open when I got it and it wouldn't fit in my WASR10.On the plus side, it's an AK mag, I took a hammer and an old railroad tie plate and banged it back into shape.Now it works and fits great.

not the best deal around , but my Maadi Ak 47 was lacking a few , while the Obama ban was going , i got scared & bought 2 , i suppose i was one of the few lucky ones , cause both were or are brand new ' looking ' , or have really great paint jobs , i check follower , they're both used , just in great shape ...if you're looking to pick up 3 or less , its the current/normal rate per mag , if looking in bulk look else where , ive found better deals on lot mags in bulk 8-10 mags , happy hunting ..........

I bought one of these magazines about a week or so ago, it was a little scruffed up and used like most military surplus gear, but still worked fine. I bought another one because I was impressed with my first purchase, and the second one was in even better condition. Was almost brand new, hardly any scratches on it and when I took it apart the spring was almost in pristine condition! These things are built to last, buy them now before they get banned and it's too late! It is a marvelous deal! Well worth it!!

I ordered 10 of these and they were all rusty. It was nothing that couldn't be cleaned so I didn't worry about. When I got to taking them apart and inspecting them I found that the springs had been used extensively but they seemed to function properly. There was only one I had a problem with. The follower it would not rise completely. It would get stuck about 8 millimeters from the top. It turns out the top of the mag had been bent inwards. I will have to send it back but overall it was a great price for something you are going to shoot the daylights out of anyway.

got 4 of these mags and only 2 were good. the other two had expanded tops so they did not fit into my ak. another bad thing about them is they don't fit every ak. i have a newer one from russian american arms, and they don't fit. now to get my moneys worth i have to mill they mag release a couple millimeters to get it to catch. DO NOT BUY THESE MAGS, THEY ARE MILITARY REJECTS FOR A REASON....

very fair price for these mags. I have tried all of my mags out in my romanian wasr-10. Some grease, some paint wear but hey you can't complain for 20 bucks. I've seen a local gun shop sell the same for 30. So pick them up while you still can.

I ordered six of these mags and five were in really good shape and function perfect. One of them came with a spring that isn't the right size for the mag. It's about 1/3 the length of the other five. When the mag is loaded it doesn't have the strength to push a single round up. I'll still be buying more of these mags though, at 20 bucks it's worth the gamble.

Since these are the first non-composite metal magazines I have purchased I may be overly critical here. I ordered 4 of these magazines and they were all well used and are not in what I would view as 'excellent' condition. They are in working condition and to give CTD credit, visually they initially look to be in pretty good condition. However, after breaking them down and cleaning them up, they have been used extensively and have the wear to prove it. There was some hidden rust externally under the grease on one, and when you broke them down the spring in another is pitted. Two of the four have holes worn through the followers where they hit the stops at the top and a third follower is well worn. Two are also worn at the front catch such that there are holes and a small stress crack at the top front lip of the magazine. After spending a few hours cleaning them thoroughly and applying teflon dry lube I expect them to function fine. Manually they appear to work fine although I have not yet live fired them. Overall these are functional and worth the money, but I'll probably buy a few more composits before purchasing more of these.

I placed my order for 3 of these on Saturday evening. The mags arrived today and I am absolutely ecstatic. They were in storage bags with cosmoline. After an hour with some WD-40, some rags and some paper towels, they are like new. In fact, they look better than the ones I got with my WASR. All lock into my AK with no problems. I can't wait to load them out and take them on the range for a test run. Buy from CTD. They are on top of their game.

Bought 2 of these mags just for extras. When I recieved them I was very surprised at the excellent condition they were in. I shot 120 rnds. through my Rom . AK47 with absolutely no problems. They fed smoothly and fit snug in my gun. I would recomend them to anyone.

I have, however, received 2 or more mags that simply did not function (caused AKM to jam, etc).Nevertheless, I am ordering 1 more mag.

I bought three of these for my Yugo UF and they are great. All three were brand new and fit very well. They had a little cosmoline on them and had to be wiped off but that took like 10 minutes. I've been to the range with them and they all work fine. Highly recommended.

I picked up 2 of these just because the price was good. Mine arrived with no cosmoline on them at all and both of them were rusted in a couple of spots. They are definately not new but after some wd-40 and a coat of flat black paint it looked alot better. For the price, I cant complain.....to much. They work.

I have only had problems with 2 of them, I just took them apart, and on both, the followers had been slightly bent. took a pair of pliers to them and voila, absolutely no problems with any of my ak mags, including my 2 poly pro mags. 5 stars.

First I must say that this magazine appears brand new... maybe it was refinished, but I see no evidence of that. It cane in a little plastic bag that was bulging with cosmoline (grease). It may be a little messy at first, but that grease is why it is in such good condition. A few minutes with a few paper towels and it was ready to go. Disassembly was easy, I used only a bullet tip as a tool, and later discovered you really only need your pinky finger. The lips on this thing are very thick, you won't bend them. In all, it is held together with something like 49 spot welds (I think that was how many I counted). There is a loaded magazine indicator at 30 rounds which is just a hole so you can see the head of the cartridge, so apparently the communists don't load down by 2 (who knew?)An excellent magazine... I have never seen anything better regardless of price. This is a great magazine, and at a great price. Don't bother looking through the rest of the AK mags, believe me I picked through them all, this is the one you want if you are looking for quality at a great price.

I donuFFFDt know about uFFFDUn-issued Condition,uFFFD but you cant beat these for the price. IuFFFDve ordered 6 and all have functioned perfectly once cleaned up. Expect small amounts of rust, dents, and lots of grease. Break them down and use brake pad cleaner found at any auto parts store to take off the grease, and what ever oil you prefer for the rust. Load and shoot :)

These mags are nice. Mine had a couple small spots of rust but nothing that wd-40 wouldn't take care of. I have to do alittle filling, BUT that is my fault since I am using them on a WASR-1O with a single to DOUBLE stack conversion. No jams out of 60 rounds. Good for the price!88

These were supposed to be unissued, excellent condition 30 round mags. One looks like it came over on the mayflower, 50% of the blue rubbed off. The other one looked brand new except for a spot about the size of a dime that was almost rusted through. I have bought a lot of stuff from CTD in the last month, have never got anything this bad. I will still buy from CTD, hopefully my future orders will be as good as my first ones were.

A little treatment with the heat gun to melt off the cosmo, a quick wipe and a touch of CLP and they are ready to rock! These are better than the mags that came with my WASR-10/63!!! Well, in my first order o
Well, in my first order of these mags, I saw signs of wear and tear, i.e. rust, dents, and some cosmoline. While 3 out of the 4 mags I ordered worked perfectly, I had to take some tools to smooth out the mag body, and a dremel to work out the sharp corners on the follower. After that, all 4 worked like a charm. My second order was quite different. 5 out of the six I ordered were good, some had more rust than others, one was literaly NEW never been used, then mister murphy came and said hi. The last mag is emulsified in cosmoline. The body is straight, and the follower seems to work, but the thing is totally coverd and filled with cosmoline. I understand that I bought surplus mags, I was willing to take the hit, but cant qc at least take a closer look at the products before they get sent out? Either way, 9 out of the 10 mags work great. Like I said, some needed some work, the last one needs Jesus and acouple cans of break free or a parts washer.

For the money these mags
For the money these mags are a great deal. Some of these mags don't fit perfectly in the receiver of my WASR-10 but after a few seconds with a rotary tool on the mag it fit just perfect (no modifications needed on the rifle). Spring strength is just right and these mags are very durable. Overall best bang for buck!

i just got a order of 5, 2 are dented just a bit but the Follower sticks so they are of no use, but as 10 and 20 round mags on the range. Plenty of oil not much caked on grease. So only minor cleaning was needed. still check your mags to make sure they are fully working.

Well, these mags are surplus. The cosmo (grease) is there to protect them while they were in storage. Good exercise though, having to take them apart and cleaning them. For the price you pay they are as good as those found elsewhere.
