This is a mount made for
This is a mount made for a 12 gauge with a few shims included to use on a 20 gauge. Because of the difference in width and height, putting this on a 20 gauge 870 ends up making it taller off the receiver than is feasible for sighting a weapon. Everyone knows in general the closer a scope to the receiver the more accurate your elevation will be. The only reason this gets 2/5 is it does fit perfectly on a 12 gauge 870 I got sitting around. Still, this should not be sold as a 20 gauge accessory as it is unfit for use on a 20 gauge 870.
