The Aimpoint FlipMount is primarily intended for use with Aimpoint 3x and 6x magnifiers, but it can be used for any optic with a 30mm tube. This model has a proper 1.9" height for correct co-witness with AR-15 and M4 carbine sight systems. The quick detach mount is made of aluminum and hard coat anodized black. It attaches to a standard Picatinny rail.
