Good sight for the money
If you are looking for a budget friendly sight for same caliber firearms, this sight will do fine. I haven't used it on anything larger that a 9mm. But it's prefect on 22 caliber rifles.

AIM Sports Reflex Sight
I am very new to the shooting hobby and have started building a small collection of firearms. I purchased my first AR, a DPMS Panther, and needed a sight. Looking to not "break the bank" I purchased this AIM product because of the price point. Now, I don't know the differences between a few hundred dollar high-end sight and a lower budget sight. Maybe if used side-by-side I could tell. However, this sight worked perfectly for me. I installed it on my AR-15 and started shooting. At 30 yards it was shooting about two inches to the right. A couple of clicks and it was dead-on, and remained at zero for the next 400 rounds. I'm not sure what a more expensive piece of equipment could do better. But, as for me and my expectations, this is a great sight and will stick with the AIM brand for my other firearms.

Worked great on my M4 in
Worked great on my M4 in .22LR, but when I put one on my AR-15, it didn't hold zero. I then added the Miculek compensator to help reduce recoil, but it puts out more of a 'shock blast' and it would turn the sight off when I would fire. But it does work fine for my .22LR.

Yes sir! This optic has a Picatinny/Weaver mounting system. We haven't got one in stock for you right now, but all you'd need in order to mount such an optic would be an MOS-to-Picatinny adapter. Will this fit on a s&w m&p 40?

It's really meant for a rifle, but if you have a picatinny mount on your slide it would fit.

No it does not. This sight needs a picatinny or weaver rail to mount to.
