Close up quiet.
Extremely quite out of a 20" CZ. Lower noise than my Daisy/Winchester M14 air rifle and way quieter than a Crosman 2240. Good for maybe 35 yards. At 50 yards the bullets would often bounce off the wood backboard. Still, for anything one would normally use an air rifle for this is a quieter and more effective alternative. Good close squirrel ammo, particularly if you have anti-gun or vegetarian/vegan neighbors.
