Big round nose FMJ
This Aguila 38 Super ammo is good stuff. It goes bang when you pull the trigger and is as accurate as the other FMJs. The bullet has a round nose that is not tapered like other FMJs in this caliber. Power is about middle of the road for factory ammo with PMC(weakest) & Geco or MagTech(strongest). I shoot a Tanfoglio Elite Limited and it fires anything you put in it. If your gun was designed over a hundred years ago and doesn't work with this ammunition, don't blame the ammunition. Buy a display case for that WWI relic and then buy a new gun ;)

Do not try in Colt government Competition series!!!
I bought 2 boxes of this after buying a colt competition and they would not chamber due to the tight head space of the match barrel. I bought PMC ammo and it chamber flawlessly and was noticeably smaller than Aguila ammo
