We suspect that the Mexican Armed Forces has little use for .38 Special ammunition. The projectile’s partial jacket is tough enough to prevent excessive fragmentation after plunging into soft tissue, yet not so constrictive as to fight against terminal expansion. The SJHP is also flat nosed and steel free, making it suitable for use inside lever-action rifles and virtually all commercial gun ranges.
