The ATLAS R-One handguard series is the newest addition to the Aero Precision lineup of handguards. With size and weight in mind, Aero machines every handguard from 6061-T6 aluminum to ensure that the part is both strong and lightweight. The name ATLAS is short for Aero Taper Lock Attachment System which is a feature that is fully unique. This proprietary system uses a pair of mirrored and tapered locking nuts to evenly distribute pressure across a custom-built barrel nut with use of a turnbuckle screw. The ATLAS R-One handguard is a slim profile and reliable mounting platform that exhibits all the strength and quality that Aero Precision's customers have come to expect.
