Chambered in .223 Wylde, the Adams Arms P3 AARS rifle is designed for shooters that like the AR pattern rifle and want the best. The Adams Arms P3 features a 16" PROOF carbon fiber wrapped barrel with a 1:7 twist, a Jet Comp muzzle device, M4 feed ramps, a full-auto rated bolt carrier group with an integral piston strike face, an Adams Arms M-LOK Rail System forend, a LUTH-AR adjustable stock with cheek riser, an ambidextrous safety, and an Ergo pistol grip. If you are a high volume shooter that wants a gun that runs cooler and cleaner than a standard AR pattern rifle, then the Adam Arms P3 with a short stroke piston operating system is what you need. The short stroke piston operating system does not direct gas and carbon into the bolt and bolt carrier like the direct impingement system does. This keeps the BCG cleaner and cooler. Shoot a few hundred rounds, wipe the bolt off and the bolt is finished. If you don't have a piston gun in your collection the P3 would make a great addition.
