Kommer I.F.B. Knife -
The knife is the Kommer I.F.B. Knife, designed by knife maker and commercial hunting guide Russ Kommer. The Kommer I.F.B. (Integral Fixed Blade) features single piece hot forged 6168CrV carbon steel construction, with a Rockwell hardness of 59-61, and an all over non reflective black EDP coat for corrosion resistance. The Kommer I.F.B. Knife has a 3.82" taper ground modified drop point blade, .13" thick; a drilled handle with notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a lanyard hole. A custom molded Kydex sheath with quick release belt clip that can be rigged for vertical or horizontal carry, multiple lashing slots and holes is included with this knife.

Drop Point Blade -
This blade has a gentle, sloping convex curve to the point versus the concave curve of the clip blade. Being thicker, this blade point is stronger for heavier tasks. It stands up to abuse well, but isn't as effective for easy penetration.

Fixed Blade -
A fixed blade is a solid piece of steel, anchored to the handle without any folding mechanisms. It's durable and holds up well against the elements.

Lanyard Hole -
This is a hole to fit a lanyard, rope or carrying implement through.
