Shrimp Plain Modified Drop Point Blade Folding Knife -
The Columbia River McGinnis Shrimp knife is inspired by a revolutionary idea: make a keychain size knife with premium quality materials and a big knife build. Premium stainless steel blade has a high satin finish and a width similar to much larger knives. Frame lock design features a right side frame made of stainless steel and a left side frame made of 6061 anodized aluminum. Large blade pivot helps prevent the blade from wiggling; Teflon bearings at the pivot point help ensure a smooth folding action. Small keychain loop folds out of the frame for easy attachment; plastic back spacer glows in the dark so you can find your Columbia River McGinnis Shrimp knife at night. Removable stainless steel pocket clip

Drop Point Blade -
This blade has a gentle, sloping convex curve to the point versus the concave curve of the clip blade. Being thicker, this blade point is stronger for heavier tasks. It stands up to abuse well, but isn't as effective for easy penetration.

8Cr13MoV -
Chinese stainless steel tempered at the Rc56 to Rc58 range and used in the Tenacious, Persistence, and Byrd lines of knives.

Hollow Ground -
The ground surface of the blade is concave and used to create a fine cutting edge.

Bead Blast Finish -
can be defined as any non reflective finish applied to the metal surface by bead blasting or sand blasting the blade with any of a variety of media. The intent is to roughen the surface for anti glare. The trade off is it tends to be more susceptible to corrosion due to the increased surface area exposed. This finish is also commonly referred to as a "military finish".
