What's beter for deer hunting:subsonic or supersonic
Answer: Hi Victor! That depends. Subsonic ammo's a lot quieter. If you're hunting at close range and want your suppressor to be its most effective, then you've got to go subsonic. Supersonic ammo's a lot more powerful, though, and can easily hit the animal over twice as hard. Delivers a flatter trajectory that simplifies aiming over longer distances, too. You wouldn't want an OTM bullet for deer hunting. It's not designed for deep penetration or terminal expansion. Here's the best subsonic load for deer we have in stock: https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/hornady-subsonic-.300-blackout-ammunition-20-rounds-pt-190-grains/fc-090255808773.html ; here's the best supersonic: https://www.cheaperthandirt.com/federal-fusion-.300-aac-blackout-ammo-150-grain-fusion-sp/fc-604544624113.html
What is the best round to shoot with a suppressor ?
Answer: .300 AAC Blackout is an excellent option, as it was designed to be a suppressed rifle cartridge for the AR15 platform. It offers increased performance in shorter barrels and more effective subsonic performance with suppressors when comparted to the 5.56 NATO cartridge... If you are asking for a .300 AAC Blackout ammo recommendation, then I would recommend this ammo, as Winchester is a well established brand for quality ammunition.
