The Weaver Multi Slot Base is designed for Savage Accutrigger short action rifles. This base is made of lightweight aluminum and comes in a matte black finish. It accepts all Weaver Top Mount Rings and accommodate the mounting of devices such as scopes, red dots and laser optics, while allowing for optimal eye relief.

Rail section is nice and
Rail section is nice and solid by itself the problem comes with the screws. The screws for front two screws need to be shorter by a bit, 1st screw bottoms out against where the barrel itself threads into receiver and the next one back pushes so far through the receiver that it will interfere and burr up the lugs on the bolt.
