The magazine will not feed more than one round, any consecutive rounds tilt back too far and the bolt will not chamber it. Pros: Metal body Cons: Cheap follower

failure to feed. constant jamming every 2-3 rounds
Finally was able to take this out to the range. had constant feeding issues. the front of the follower is noticeablly weaker than the back when you push down on it. when i switched to the stock magazines that came with my rifle feed flawlessly no jamming. went i went to try these promag's constant jamming. decided to try it manually racking same issue feed failure when the bolt attempts to move forward as the front of the round remains in the magazine jamming against it. when you attempt to push a round out of the magazine with your hand it will also get caught on the front lip.

Solid construction but unreliable feeding.
Without any doubt, this is a solid magazine, built with high quality materials. I find the size of 20rd magazines ideal for the AR15 platform from the ergonomics and esthetics standpoints. I purchased several of them with this in mind, but ALL of them failed to feed reliably, with a failure rate of about one in 25rds. I've never experienced any failures with other magazines in the same rifle! So why is this happening? The answer is very simple: these ProMag magazines do not feature a no-tilt follower! The follower tilts severely under moderate load (just try to push it down with your finger), and it's just a matter of time before a round fails to feed. In my view, ~$18 for such an unreliable magazine is not acceptable. Maybe they work fine with certain rifle modifications, but I strongly recommend against that.

Really good quality. This is a very well made product. It feels so much tougher and more durable than any other metal magazine I've used. Unfortunately for me and my fellow Californians, we are only legally allowed to have 10 round mags. I love these mags because it gives you a little more length; there is actually something to grab on to when the mag is in the gun. The extra length comes in handy. Regardless of my personal preference, this is an extremely well made product.

This is the best mag I tried for my SIG M400 AR-15. I tried a few different models and this one definitely stood out, so much so that I ordered 2 more. Being in the state of Kalifornia sucks (10 round mags), but good products like this one helps the pain...
