Compatibility Requirements
• Gauge: The Nightstick SFL-11GL is designed specifically for 12-gauge Mossberg 500, 590, and Shockwave models. It will not fit a 20-gauge Mossberg 500 Compact.
• Action Tube Length:
• It is directly compatible with the 6.75-inch action slide tube found on newer Mossberg 500 models.
• It includes a spacer (SFL-MSP) for models with a 7.75-inch action tube.
• If your Compact model uses a "pinned" forend (common on some newer entry-level or Maverick 88-style configurations), you may need to replace the entire action slide assembly with a threaded 500/590 series version first.
