The black checks the quality and consistency of both reloaded rounds and purchased rounds. Quickly confirms that the ammo will fit in their chamber. The Cartridge Checker is machined from a solid block of 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and cut with custom tooling to SAAMI minimum chamber dimensions. One gauge will work with a variety of calibers. Drop your loaded round in the ammo checker and if it fits the gauge, it will fit the chamber.
