Known as some of the best ammunition with a solid reputation for producing ammunition that is reliable, accurate, and precision made for any shooting application imaginable. Since most self defense shooting situations take place during the night, Buffalo Bore uses a flash suppressed powder to help eliminate flash from your own gunfire. This ammo is quickly becoming the top self defense load on the market. When your life depends on it, you can count on Buffalo Bore Ammo.

Buffalo Bore's .357 Magnum ammo adds more power than ever before to the 357 mag. This ammo is safe to shoot in ANY all steel 357 revolver - this includes J frames. This ammo is no harder on your gun than any other normal 357 ammo.

We don't recommend this ammo to be fired in super light alloy revolvers as bullets may jump crimp under recoil, but the ammo itself wont hurt these super light weight revolvers. These revolvers are simply so light that the recoil is severe enough to cause crimp jump.

Bought 2 boxes for my revolver. Atleast 5 rounds out of each box did not fire after the first hammer strike. And atleast 3 out of each box would not fit in the cylinder. Was not going to force them in. Ended up throwing half a box away.

this are great rounds. ac
this are great rounds. accurate and powerful. the 357 mag has been watered down since 1935 and its hi time we go back to full magnum loads like this. cant handle the recoil...dont buy a magnum. I use these as bear defense when i go hunting. and i would actually use them for hunting black bear. theres plenty of enough power there out of a 6 inch barrel. good rounds.

Great ammo. Has a bit mor
Great ammo. Has a bit more recoil, but not bad. I will warn you, however, we were shooting 1/4' steel swinging plate targets from a 4' barrel and this ammo bent the plates!! NO other out of the box ammo did this, even from my .44 Mag. I also shot this out of a 18.5' barrel in my bolt rifle and it drilled a mean hole, but did not totally penetrate. My buddy was quite upset I ruined his steel plate target! I'll write another review after my boar hunt with this ammo coming up in December 2012. Don't hesitate buying this ammo. Just be ready for the BOOM! Good Stuff, am buying again.

The title says it all, '
The title says it all, 'Wow . . .' These 180s really hit hard. It's nice generating .44 Magnum energies from a .357 with a 4' barrel. Shot a watermelon. 'It's comin' right for us!' It was really cool. Serious note: not for personal protection. Way too much penetration. But it is the perfect round in this caliber if you're out in the woods. Happy hunting, all.

Okay to shoot in Taurus Tracker?
Answer: They are within SAAMI spec and should be fine. However please contact Taurus or Buffalo Bore directly or refer to your owners manual for additional clarification.
Ok to put through a pump action ISI Timberwolf for whitetail hunting?
Answer: This ammunition is suitable for any firearm chambered in .357 Magnum. I don't see any reason you could not shoot it thru your IMI Timberwolf.
