There are a few things that gun owners agree on; like striker-fired, polymer-framed, 9mm pistols. One thing that almost every firearms enthusiast agrees on is the perfect sized full-caliber handgun. Not too big to carry daily and not too small to shoot well. The M&P 4" Compact is Smith & Wesson's version of the ideal-sized pistol. This means that the M&P9 M2.0 Compact has a 4 inch barrel, an overall length of 7.3 inches, an overall height of 5 inches and a width of 1.2 inches.
Smith and Wesson has a very long history as one of America's foremost firearm manufacturers and the S&W M&P M2.0 4" Compact handgun is the newest and coolest evolution of one of the best combat handguns on the market today. Building on the original and highly regarded polymer-framed, standard-capacity M&P pistol, the second generation of the Military and Police pistol features the new M2.0 trigger with a crisp and lighter trigger pull, a tactile and audible reset, a longer and more rigid embedded stainless steel chassis and the new and even more accurate M&P M2.0 barrel with the 1 in 10 inch twist rate. Additionally the M2.0 features a high grip to barrel bore axis making the M&P more comfortable to shoot, along with the proven 18 degree grip angle for a more natural point of aim, the M2.0 is a winner right out of the box. The four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts allow you to achieve a more optimal custom hand fit. The Armornite finish provides you with a durable corrosion resistant finish.
