"Be sure to clean the gun when you get it. When I first pulled it out of the box you could hear like sand grit from metal shavings. The magazines are surplus and scratched up a bit which was kind of a bummer. They also catch and grind which would be my biggest gripe. As for the other side of things. It feels great in my hands. There is little recoil (my buddy with weak wrists is even thinking about buying one now because of that.) light trigger pull, smooth action. Easy to disassemble and clean. I wish ammo was easier to find and that I could get a extended mag for this beast. I would shoot all day long then."

"Bought a M57 after buying a M70A. The M70A had fixable magazine issues and shoots about 4\" low at 25', but windage is dead on. The front M57 front sight fell out of dovetail during pre-firing cleaning. Fixed with a dab of JB Weld. Shoots about 4\" low and 1\" left. Both pistols have reasonable fit and finish for the price. No feed, fire, or ejection problems. Cheap, fun glove box or plinking guns. No buyer's remorse. Buying new, reloadable S&B 7.62x25 ammo locally about same price as on-line 1950's corrosive mil-surplus ammo plus shipping cost."
