"I have several of these excellent flip-up/down rear sights. Positive, secure, sturdy and easy to manipulate. CTD has a decent price as well. Very good value."

"This sight replaced the detachable sight that came with my DPMS LR308 and with the riser for my scope can stay on the rifle with scope mounted and this sight folded. High quality with two aperatures just like the original. Elevation must be adjusted with the front sight. A little more expensive than some but well worth it."

"This is a GREAT product. I love it very much. I have it on a Bushmaster ar 15 as a back up sight and i rocks. I have a video of it on Youtube.com my profile name is bushmasterwasr the video of it is on there feel free to ask questions about it and i will fell free to respond to help with any question."

"These are some great irons. They are sturdy, inexpensive, and co-witness with the standard front sight post as well as several different types of optics I have tried. They lock on securely and fold small enough to get out of the way of any optic I have tried. The only reason I did not rate these BUIS with 5 stars is that, when extended, they do rock back and forth slightly. It is enough to lose zero at extended ranges, but I didn't notice any change in accuracy out to 200-300 yards, which in my opinion is about the max effective range of the 5.56 anyways. Overall, these are some of the best BUIS I have ever seen."

"Bought it for my bushmaster M4 with Bushnell holosight and love it. Holds great zero and love that it locks upright. Looked at all of the other BUIS in the $100's and this one looks just as good and works perfect. Some of my friends like the sights with the spring action that lock in the down position. They are fine but not worth the $120 they paid. I would buy this one again."

"Does not stay tight. Every 4th shot it is loose"

"Nothing wrong with this Yankee Hill product. These are some of the best parts in the business; so if you are having trouble with it being loose then just take it to a gun-smith and let a man tighten it down for you....are you kidding me? 1 bullet? because you cannot tighten down a part....wow now thats a useful review...."

"Mounted on my newly assembled AR carbine, CMMG upper, yadda yadda. Solid attachment, holds zero a lot better than I do. I'd buy another one for my next build."

"I put this on my DS AR-15, and they really good back up sights. I shoot better with this iron sight than with my cheap red dot scope. It hasn't come loose like others have stated, and the tightening screw is nice and big. I cranked it down real tight, and put a few drops of blue threadlock. ROCK SOLID and CTD as always has super fast shipping."

"Bought this rear sight to use in conjunction with the Yankee front flip up sight, Item # ARR-9584. Mounted on a SW MP-15 with a factory railed gas block and they line up perfect. Have stayed zeroed after 300 rounds."

"Good sight, but make sure you crank that screw as tight as you can, or it might come loose."

"This is a great sight for an AR platform. It folds down nicely and is solid in its movements. It will allow for most expansions pertaining to magnifiers. I already spent too much on my EOTech, so I went with a great UTG 3x magnifier from a local gun shop. This UTG was an amazing compliment to the EOTech as UTG has now risen to mil-specs in most cases. I previously bought another Chinese-made 3x that I could not use, due to its cradle rock. This Yankee Hill sight is a great fall back iron when the upper is geared for optics. I would purchase it again without question."

"Perfect BUIS for my ACOG setup. Solid construction, low profile when folded. Make sure to use anti-shock LocTite on bolt and torque it down and you'll have no problems."

"bought this sight for a BCM upper w/ fixed front post - sold in the down position, but wiggles slighty in the up position - which is kindof a problem given that it's... A SIGHT! it should be solid in the up for accuracy"
– Pete
