"My TAC-382 vest purchased 6/12/2009 is not the same as the one pictured on 7/5/2009. The pictured narrow pockets on the vest's right side are actually on the left. What I like: huge inside pockets accommodate a gun or, as I use it, a CD player. Nice heavy material. 2-way zipper. Snap fastener for closing without using zipper. The zipper or the snap will keep the vest from blowing open in the wind and revealing my concealed handgun. The pen slot on the upper left is actually deep enough to hold a pen, with the pen's clip getting a good grasp on the canvas. Vest seems pretty sturdy. What I don't like: the two \"hand-warmer\" pockets have openings that only a child's hands would fit into. The bellows pocket on the right is too shallow and doesn't hold as much as I want it to (plastic bags for cleaning up after my dog). The narrow pockets on the left are too deep/narrow; if I put small stuff in them (say AA batteries or small calculator), it's too hard to get the stuff out; if I put large objects in them (say, the radio or baton in the picture), the velcro tabs won't close and the objects will fall out. The top left pocket has no closer, so anything you put in it will fall out when you bend over.If you ask me to speculate, I'll speculate that these are seconds. Otherwise, I deem this Made in Bangladesh vest as poorly engineered, at least for the American market. I'm keeping mine just because it does, all things considered, meet my most basic needs and I don't want the hassle of returning it and."
