Lasagna Chili Mac with Beef Noodles and Beef Pasta Alfredo with Chicken
Be prepared for any emergency with these pre-packaged freeze dried food kits. Each kit comes with its own storage bucket and provides a variety of healthy meals in packages that last from 72 hours to over a year.

Each pouch contains 2 servings. Simply bring 4 cups of water to a boil, stir in contents of one pouch, turn off heat and allow to just stand and simmer for 12 minutes.

This sampler pack now included real meat. These are ready-made meals packed in airtight NITROGEN PACKED pouches. The unique packaging process removes the majority of the residual oxygen by immediately packing nitrogen into the mylar bag. This in turn simplifies the preparation process by not having to first locate and then remove an oxygen absorber from each individual pouch.

Wise Outdoor Meals contain freshness guarantee of 7 years.

"Ordered the sample kit. As always, the CTD order arrived on time. After looking over the package, I saw that these are clearly marked 100% vegetarian. As I don't drive down the vegan road, I was a bit apprehensive, but decided to give them a try. I was surprised that the taste was very good! After adding the 2 cups of boiling water, I found that the 12 minute sitting time was not enough. 20 minutes is better to let everything absorb. The sodium content is actually quite high on these entrees, but in situations where a lot of sweat is the norm, this is not really a big issue. I'll be ordering more to supplement my SHTF food supply. Order the sample pack and judge for yourself. You just might like it!"

"To the dude who wrote the review on FOOD-734. First off, I hope you're Ok. Second, you must have forgotten to remove the desiccant from the pack as per the instructions.I had the beef stroganoff and it wasn't bad. It's only 270 calories but I felt mostly full after gobbling down the two serving pack. This stuff seems like it would make a good emergency stash of chow."

"I just got done trying to try the 3rd pouch. It seemed just like the first 2 to me. Seems like they all 3 were very close to the same and I couldn\uFFFDt eat more than a few spoons of each. I am glad I did not buy a large amount if these. I guess they might get a little better if you were actually starving. However, the other brand is much much better and similar priced. I will throw the 4th pouch in the emergency supplies instead of wasting it."

"The food itself was good. Except for the lead shot that is all freeze dried beans, everything was actually tasty. But. One of the packages had an 1/8\" hole. I don't know how or when it got there, but I called the manufacturer. Their response was \"Oh, that's too bad.\" (*Click!) Never asked any questions, like where they were purchased, lot number, nothing. I'm not the guy who eats the last green hot dog at Quik-E-Mart; I wasn't about to eat an open bag; result: Threw away one-quarter of my order. Too expensive by far."

"I travel a lot (Asia, africa, Middle East, Europe) so my taste buds have been exposed to a lot of strange sensations. When people ask me what my favorite food is I usually say \"whatever I'm eating at the moment.\" I'm not too hard to please when it comes to food. I got 2/3 of the way through Pasta Alfredo and had to quit. Too much of a chemical taste even for me. It may not actually be chemicals, it may just be the drying process that makes \"food\" taste that way. Mountain House and MREs by AmeriQual are better. An advantage of MREs is that you don't need to add water and they can be eaten without heating them up though they don't taste as good cold. I don't know how you would eat Wise Foods (or Mountain House dried foods either) without 1. Water and 2. a way to boil the water. Looking into the package you see hard, dry, noodles and powdery material. Eating it without adding boiling water would probably choke you in my opinion. I know it isn't intended to be eaten that way but if you are in a tough spot without extra water an/or a way to boil it you are going to have a hard time eating this."

"I tasted the cheesy lasagna today. What part of this was cheese? I sure didn't taste any cheese. All I tasted was pepper and spices. Overall, taste was like a 3.5 on the 1-10 scale, but was easily edible and easy to cook. Someone could stockpile this stuff and live off it, I suppose, but the taste makes you want to scrub your tongue with a toilet bowl scrubber. The size of meals seems to be over-exaggerated. Two servings is evidently the size of one of my bowls. I only give it 2 bullets because you can live on it, and it's really lightweight."
