"Waste of money. Very poor quality. Not recommend to hunting. For a target is acceptable. But with many damn..."

"Used through my savage 93R17 BVSS for the local squirrel population control and must say if you want to drop them dead in their tracks this is an excellent round. Bought 500 of them to get a feel for them through the weapon (usually use hornady FTX 20gr HP for target and hunting applications)and shot well on paper (.6 grouping at 100 yds prone supported). Moving on to hunting applications the first time I used them I harvested 2 fox squirrels- one with a head shot and the other with a chest cavity. The entry for both were normal sized however the exit told a much different tale. The head shot removed the entire other side of the head from top of the eye down to the bottom jaw at approx 30 yards. The cavity shot entered above the front arm and blew out the other side of the chest breaking 3 ribs shattering the opposite shoulder joint and creating a cavity approx 2.5\" in diameter with the arm dangling. If your looking to just harvest the varmints for sport, take the body shots however if you plan to bring them to the dinner table take the shoulder and above shots! Good buy and plan to make them my permanant squirrel round!"

"This is one of the best rounds I have ever had a pleasure of firing! This is a awesome squirrel round. It does do some damage to the small squirrel so if you are planning on harvesting the squirrels for the dinner table a careful shot placement is a must but with the right setup fairly easy to do! I shoot a heavy barrel 17 Savage with a nice 3x9 scope and its easy with a decent rest to shoot a squirrel in the head and knock him out of a tree at 100 yards! This bullet drops about 1\" at 100 yds. I am sold on this round and recommend it. Happy Hunting!"

"Bought several boxes. Just now got around to firing some in my Henry Golden Boy 17 HMR. Shot 100 rounds. 15 failed to fire. Good strike marks on rim. Just failed. Bad!! I have never had any other 17 cal brand do this. In fact, since I have had my Henry, I have had no failures until now. I read some other reviews around the internet and some had more failures per 100 than I did. Very disappointed in Winchester. Once I get these boxes used up at firing range, I will buy no more and I sure would not use these loads if I were out coyote hunting."
