"This mount required significant filing ( over a 1/8 inch) to fit my Norco. But with a good file it took me about 1/2 hour to get a fit that was dead to nuts tight. I have tried 5-6 different type mounts, and all raised the scope height more than I would like, this is the lowest mount I have found."

"This does not fit my Norinco SKS. It was off by a 16th of a inch. When I filed to fit, it was too loose and the red dot sight I put on it wouldn't stay on target AT ALL at 30 yards. So, it's worthless if you want a rail on the top cover of your SKS."

"Ordered the part Friday; delivered very fast. Was supposed to take about 3-5 days, but only took 24 hours to reach me. Kudos on that. Had to be filed down, which took about an hour, but once I was able to get it done, it fit on the rifle better than the one I had on it before. My slide is a lot smoother. No more trying to pry the damn thing back. It fits very snug to the weapon, so when I am shooting it, there is no bouncing from the dust cover moving around. Was able to hold a zero on the scope for at least 500 rounds now. Very impressed, would recommend to everyone that I know that has an SKS."

"This product did not fit my Yugo SKS without modification. The forward receiver tangs had to be milled down to sit flush. The retaining pin hole was VERY tight, and I had to hammer the pin into the hole to make it fit. After some time at a grinding wheel, I managed to get this product fit to the rifle, but I ground it too much on the front end and now the product moves vertically in the receiver. No optics hold zero due to this. Again, not a reflection of the product.Otherwise, this is a solid piece of hardware."
