"The Warhammer for my Mossberg 500A is by far the best accessory I've purchased yet for the gun and have seen for this weapon. Right out of the box, I was very surprised of the quality of the Warhammer, not a single scratch, dent, or mark of any kind. Just 30 inches total of the best looking picatiny rail, combined with a great heat shield, and full rear sight base, all in one piece of CNC machined aluminum which was hardcoated. Overall, it has a very aggressive look to it. This Warhammer is as solid as they come and has not moved at all even after an afternoon of Fed. tac slugs at the range. Putting it on the gun took about 15 minutes, VERY straightforward directions. Afterward, I attached my 30mm red dot followed by my Mako red dot magnifier toward the rear of the top rail. If you're using optics, the Warhammer comes with a heavy duty stainless steel ejector screw with a nut to better secure the Warhammer to the gun at the point where the optics are located (just replace the factory screw with this). I attached my Knoxx SpecOps NRS collapsible stock at the rear, and UTG green laser on the front right 5 inch rail and my 200 lumens UTG Tac Light on the front left 5 inch rail. Both fit securely and have not moved. Under the Warhammer, I have the UTG heavy metal forearm with a picatinny rail on the bottom sporting an adjustable AR Tac foregrip for a true tactical feel. All of these other accessories I purchased from CTD. Overall, this is a great product and I would strongly recommended it to anyone wishing to turn their Mossberg into a tactical shotgun. Very nice!"

"After reading the review for this Heat shield/Rail I was very excited about ordering this product and installing it because the reviewer said that it fits perfectly with his Mossberg. It clearly does not fit all models. My barrel now has several scratches from trying to install this \" Easy and fast installation \" three rail system. The clamps provided are the wrong size for my barrel and trying to install with the \"6 different barrels types\" doesn't help when the clamps don't fit into the rail system once installed on my barrel. Overall this would be a great product if it fit. Its very sturdy and well made."

"When I got this I was amazed at how few parts there were and I was skeptical as to how it would fit because of the last review about it not fitting the Mossberg 500 tactical well. I installed the Aim-Tech Warhammer problem free on my tactical shotgun within 10 minutes and I couldn't be happier with this product. The instructions were clear and as long as you follow them you will avoid scratching your barrel and have no problems. Great product and I would recommend it to anyone trying to give their Mossberg 500 shotgun a great look and feel as well as be able to attach many different items on the rail."

"I was sceptical when I first ordered the warhammer but must admit, I now love it! Fit is excellent and it works great as a heat shield and as a rail system. Fit and finish are super and it looks outstanding on my 500 Mossberg."

"This arrived early and went together well on my 15 year old Mossberg 500 . You can still see the old brass bead sight under the rail system . I didn't know that so it was a plus to me . Looks dang good too ."

"I waited two months since this thing was on back order. I didn't mind the wait and when it came it was better than I expected. It is very well made, and fits on nice and tight. It makes the gun look awesome. I am very pleased with it. The only hard part was putting in some of the screws, but it had to be snug. This is the best $money for a rail/heat shield. Now to add an EOtech to it."

"I placed this on my Mossberg 500 which looks awesome! I can't wait to put all kinds of tactical gear on my shotgun. Secure fit. I had a previous heat shield that would come loose with a few shots. This thing will not budge no matter how much I shoot."

"This rail serves 3 purposes: heat shield, sight hood for the bead sights and a rail for mounting accessories. Combined with a railed forearm and the tri rail from LazerLyte, my pump gun has more accessory points than it ever needed. The rail installs in a minute and comes with Allen wrenches to install it. The only other tool needed is a flat head for the ejector screw."

"I am writing to let everyone know that the Warhammer mount does fit with both the pistol grip fold-over stock (SHT-057) and the Molle scabbard (MOLLE-251). The stock will fold properly as long as you lay the butt plate down like you're supposed to. The scabbard is a snug fit but it's completely manageable. Installation is easy but the instructions are poor. You should be able to figure it out in about ten minutes."

"I bought this for my Mossberg 500 Roadblocker. The front clamp on it needed shaved a bit to bolt on, but was well worth the time spent to modify it. I can say this thing is now the sickest looking pump I have ever seen. There is a nice gap under the rail on the Warhammer so I can still use the front sight if needed. I give it a thumbs up for anyone looking to deck out there shotgun."

"I bought this and mounted it in 10 minutes on my mossberg mariner and the flat black finish looks great in contrast to the stainless gun. Paired up with a blackhawk stock and its ready for real combat. Red dot sight and the underrail view give the shooter options and every home defense weapon needs a light."

"This is by far one of the best fitting items I have bought for my Mossberg 500. Went on in less then 5 minutes and all the bolts, hex wreches and bracket came with it, no cutting or file'ing needed at all - and my fold over stock fits allot better then I though it would. Although its a little tight right at the end of the fold, but does go on all the way. Other then that the warhammer is pefect!. Well worth the money!."

"Pros: Goes on quick and easy, fit my Mossy 500 perfectly. Looks very intimidating and is very functional. Does what it says it does.Cons: Metal is cheap feeling, but like I said looks good on the gun. You could swing it at something and break or bend it pretty easily. For that reason I feel like it should be a little cheaper in cost.I see a problem in the future when it comes to cleaning. It is not something you want to take on and off very often. The small screws will not hold up to repetitive removal. You will need a bore snake to clean the bore, but I would still want to break it down every once and a while to thoroughly clean it.Overall I'm happy with the product. Combined with a tactical for end and AR-15 style retractable stock it looks awesome."

"Fast and easy to install, rock solid once it was on. I was worried about it fitting with my Minotaur Muzzle Break. No problem, looks like they were made to go together."

"Out of the box and on the gun in 5 min. easy to install, fit my mossberg perfectly , solidly mounted to gun. Works well with my optics and other attachments, really a sick aggressive look for a tactical shotgun. It does however add a bid of weight to the front of the weapon making CQB targeting a little more difficult , but with that if you run out of ammo you can \"Beat the Ghost out of them\" I give 4 out of 5."

"I bought the Warhammer for my Mossberg Maverick 88. I thought it was a little pricy at first, then I considered my plans to purchase a heat shield and I was going to have the 88 receiver drilled and tapped to fit a picatiny rail. All of this considered the value for about the same cost was overwhelming in favor of the Warhammer. I got the receiver mount I needed, not to mention the additional accessory mounting, plus the heat shield plus this system looks awesome. It also has advantage of see under if you ever need to use your factory bead. I installed on a 20\uFFFD barrel with 8 round mag tube, phoenix stock. I fit like a glove in a just a few minutes. I attached optics, laser, tac light and took it to the range. This is a solid mounting system. I give the Warhammer five bullets for quality, killer appearance, functional and value. Must have if you are building a tac gun. Zombies beware."

"Have had this product on my Mossberg for around 3 years now, and have not run into any issues with it. Does not loosen up,very sturdy product. Have put around 500 rounds down range and it still holds tight to the gun. Allows many different ways to mount multiple accessories to your shotgun to make it stand out from the rest of the shotguns people may have."

"This item makes my tactical Mossberg 500 look even more like a monster. This item was easy to install and is heavy duty. The side railings can be adjusted closer to you. The only catch is that you would have to remove it to clean the barrel, but that doesn't bother me. All hardware is strong and Allen wrenched to prevent stripping."

"This will not fit the Mossberg Cruiser 54125. The barrel is too thick and the Aimtech barrel mount tabs have a very, very limited space to even possibly mount (just behind the takedown screw). In this position, the Aimtech's mounting hole doesn't line up with the factory hole in the rail. I've contacted Aimtech twice.... nothing; nada. I have spoken to a machinist I know that is going to machine the inside if the mounts out, to match the barrel and he is going to drill three elongated holes in the rail. I will keep you posted. I will not buy another Aimtech product. Good luck."

"This is a definitely a hefty chunk of metal to attach to a firearm; certainly not worth it for a shotgun used in sporting and hunting. But it's great if you've got a rig set up for home defense. It offers plenty of rail space for multiple accessories, such as red dot sights (mine has a circle reticle that's just about the size of the shot spread), or tactical flashlights. I'm just as convinced that the top of the barrel (where the majority of the metal ends up) could be effectively used as a blunt pushing instrument. Pros: massive amounts of rail space, easy to attach, looks awesome. Cons: very heavy, front attachment is basically a barrel ring that could scratch your barrel (important if you don't want to leave it on forever or intend to resell your shotgun)."

"I purchased this for my son's Mossberg 500. He is VERY happy with it. He said it installed easily. The only downside is there are too many accessories that he can now attach. None the less, I plan to buy one for myself."
