Vltor Weapons System IMOD Combo Kit (Improved Modstock) is an outstanding way to upgrade your AR-15 to be more accurate and comfortable to shoot. This is a complete kit with everything needed to install your new and much improved buttstock. Simply put - there is no finer stock for your AR-15/M4 Rifle. The IMOD works with Mil-Spec buffer tubes - these will not work with Commercial Diameter Buffer Tubes.

Specifications and Features:
Integral, but removable non-slip buttpad (color matched to stock components)
Rolled/angled buttpad toe with wide traction area. This will assist in running the stock high on shoulder, making the IMod system more user friendly when using web-gear and/or body armor
Improved lock paddle, making it easier to operate and making the contact surface non-slip when operating the lever
Removed most sharp edges that may cause "snag points" to web-gear or other vital equipment
Improved strength throughout construction of the stock chassis. This will provide maximum strength during "Mortaring exercise" or unexpected impact.

IMod stock kit, with storage compartments

Carbine Buffer (standard weight), Part# V2-1070-C2
Carbine/M4 Action Spring, Part# V2-1070-C1
Receiver End Lock Plate, Part# V2-1069-M1
Receiver End Lock Nut, Part# V2-1069-M2

"Favorite stock set up for cqc/cqb but the buffer tube was very stiff and had to be broke in. A friend bought the same one from a local dealer and his adjustment is much smoother. Good product but outrageous shipping cost...PER ITEM because the items ship from different locations! After shipping I could have just gone and gotten it around the corner...also buffer weighs in on the light side so now I will have to customize that as well."
