Known to Korean War Veterans as a Pack, Field, Cargo, M-1945, this heavy duty cotton canvas pack was the predecessor to the butt pack carried in Vietnam. Made to be worn underneath and attached to the main combat backpack, the cargo packs were commonly used to carry shelter half tents, clothing, and personal items.
Complete with a top carry hand strap, dual steel pistol belt clips, and brass suspender "D" rings, this cargo pack can be carried in a variety of configurations.
Each M-1945 pack measures 18" long by 5.5" wide by 9.5" tall. An oversized storm flap lid cinches down with two heavy duty, 1" wide canvas straps that run around the front of the pack and across the lid.
Inside, the pack is complete with a rubber liner that helps keep moisture off of your gear.
