Finally, a Green laser everyone can afford! This powerful, long range laser offers both daytime visibility and superior accuracy. Precision machined from aircraft grade aluminum with a hard anodized finish for rough use in any conditions. Features precise windage and elevation adjustments that get you on target every time and includes both end-caps and remote-pressure switches, universal Picatinny/Weaver mount that fits most tactical firearms, a padded storage tin, and a 3V lithium battery, Imported.

All green laser products operating at 532nm are subject to varying degrees of illumination power loss in cold weather (60 degrees Fahrenheit or less) unless proper procedures are followed.

For optimal and maximum illumination in cold conditions:
1) Place 2 hand warmers around unit and secure with self adhering wrap which can be found in drug stores or camo color wraps in sporting goods stores. (The hand warmers slow down the heat loss through the aluminum housing).
2) Place a warm battery (room temperature) in the unit and turn on before going outside.
3) If the power level fluctuated, replace battery with a warm battery and continue use. (Rotate batteries as needed)."

"I just received this laser sight today. I thought I was going to be the first person to review it, especially for an AK variant, but seedofchucky has beat me to it. I just tried to use it in broad daylight, and for about 50 yards you can see it. I put mine on a Norinco MAK 90 and it looks good, and I already have it sighted in to my red dot at a little under 100 yards. I have not shot my ak with this on it yet, so I do not know if it will be able to handle the recoil of the rifle, but I will see soon. If it doesn't hold up well I will review again to let everyone know. Much, much brighter than the red dot laser on my .45. So far FIVE BULLETS."

"got this thing today. looks great on my romanian AK. in broad daylight its hard to see at great distances but in low light situations it has great range. it has great range in normal indoor lighting as well. its a great deal"

"i got this today and it didn't work. looks cool on my AR, fits fine. like everything about it except the most important part that the laser won't even turn on. you get what you pay for."

"I mounted on my mini-14 by use of picatinny rail on my ATI stock. The laser works well in daylight under 40 yards and over 300 yards in the dead of night. Buy This Laser!!"

"coolest damn thing I ever bought. For the money, it's a very nice addition to my AR-15. Solid construction and easy to adjust."

"When I first received this gl (green laser) it didn't have hardly any windage and elevation movement. It also worked intermitantly with the push switch installed. The push switch button had plastic bleed over (there was plastic blocking the flat surface of the button so there was an issue with making contact to turn the laser on). Also, the movement of the laser wasn't working properly due to the laser module being set/glued in the wrong place within the housing. I could see this by looking at the front of the laser. I called and talked to Leapers and they said to send it back. I did. When I received a new one back, IT WORKED PERFECTLY!!!!!The windage and elevation set screws moved the laser for precise placement. It also had a WIDE range to the movement, which would definitely be needed for different types of weapons. AND, I like the fact that it uses the same 123 batteries as my weapon flashlight. No fooling around with different batteries. Viewing in the daylight is limited to short yardage, 50 or less, BUT at night the green dot is seen easily and with fast pickup. At 100 yards, the dot can even be seen on tree bark. TRY that with a red dot!! Can't be done. For the money, I'd say this is one heck of a laser and well worth every penny spent (even if I did have to ship it back to Leapers [$6.40 Priority Mail]). Do yourself a favor and get one, you won't be disappointed!!!!"

"I wasn't sure about this laser and if it would stand up to what the reviews had to say. I can tell you that it is not 3.5 inches long, it is 5.0 inches with the remote switch atached. NOW for what i think about this laser. You can't go wrong with this one , it's GREAT! I just have to step outside and there is my firing and hunting range. ( You right, i live in the country.) This laser has already been used to down a wild boar at 125 yards! HOT DANG it works great! Thanks CTD"

"Recently purchased this product, and from the other reviews I was a bit skeptical, however; the Leaper green tatical laser sight is one of a kind! A great product and have not had any problems! I have mounted this on my AR-15 and my Springfield M1a Socom 2 and this product withstands both \"kickbacks\" if you will. I would recommend this to any shooter who wants a great product for the money!! A must have!!"

"This Laser is a great buy. It is very durable, and the green laser can be seen in daylight conditions up to about 75 yards. I like this product because it wasn't that expensive and it works great. I needed a laser that didn't cost too much because I am hard on my guns. I didn't want to buy an expensive laser and then break it by accident when I am hunting with my M and P 15. This laser is the best of both worlds..."

"I received this in the mail today and turned it on. The beam is barely visible even in the dark. I thought maybe it had a bad battery so I put in a fresh one and same thing. Very dim dot, I have other 5mw lasers and this one is at leas 10 times dimmer than the others. I definately will be returning it."

"Just like all the previous reviews said, it's a solid, well made laser that works great. I don't know what Sean's 1 bullet review is all about. If you receive something that doesn't work return it and get a replacement or refund. Only critique I have is actual length is 4 3/4..."

"A great value. Excellent quality green laser for the price. It is clearly visable. Easily mounted and got right to work. In fact, I'll pick up another fairly soon for the next build."

"Installed on my Olympic Arms K3B-M4-A3-TC (.223 AR15). Snap to install. Fast adjustment. Zeroed to the sights over the weekend. Open range at noon in full sun: Easy to see with eye at 25yds. Visible on a dark field at 50yds. Spotter next to me commented on seeing it out further under mag power, but I'll have to verify that next time. I haven't used another laser before so I can't compare it or I might have gone 5 bullets."

"Junk. Received, worked but wont hold adjustment, adjust screws lack tension.Wire to tact switch broke before FIRST USE.Took head off, the retaining ring to hold laser assembly was loose. Wires from circuit board laid against contacts, not soldered. Wires not soldered on cap (tether) either. Heavy coiled cord breaks wires, too much impact on those tiny 24 gauge wires.Crap. China. What else can we say. Never again, CTD"

"DONT put the CR123 cell in backwards, BOOM! No reverse polarity protection and no markings on the unit as to which way the cell (its a lithium cell, not a battery) goes in. Destroys the voltage regulator chip instantly. The cell goes in BACKWARDS from most cell operated devices, positive is OUT. Oh well, VERY nice machine work on the body, gonna retrofit a 150mW IR laser for night vision use."

"I just received this laser today and mounted it on my AR UTG quad rail with no problem at all. Aligned laser easily, and it works great. Very visible in both daylight as well as night. I am very glad I chose the green laser as it is MUCH more visible than the red lasers. As someone else posted, make sure the battery + (Positive) is facing the endcap. The unit isn't marked, but it is clear in the instructions.I'll post another update after I shoot it and report on how well it holds alignment."

"just got the laser and im very happy! not sure why one of the previous reviewers said there are no markings on the battery because the directions could not have been more clear. the adjustment screws are lacking tension but it has held after 90 rounds and its dead on. laser is also very bright visible for at least 50 yards in the sunny las vegas sky!i was hesitant to order but so far so good and dont forget its only a hundred bucks so... looks really cool on my YUGO AK and with my UTG tach front end its even sweeter!! i will buy one for my 10/22 when i order more ammo from cheaper than dirt!"

"Bought this for my rifle and it's a very cool gadget. By mounting it to the lower rail I was able to use my laser bore sight and adjust it till they met at 100 yards. Which is where you notice the difference between 5mw red and 5mw green the green simply blots out the red completely. The green is so much brighter you can see the beam itself at night and I'm sure it would be an incredibly effective deterrent as well."

"Mine worked fine right out of the box. I think this is one of those 'hit or miss\" products though. Some people will get defective one I think, but I did not.I mounted it to servarl diffrent wepoins including my registerd class 3 SW M 76 and other SMG's my class 3 dealer pal has.He shows up as I have three outdoor ranges and teach combat use of firearms.Whe I read reviews on stcoks, lasers etc, I am mystified at people who say \"it looks cool on my gun\". What the hell diffrence does that make? Anything you do to modify any weapon has to contribute to its performance in the field period. This is where I am divided on the use of lasers too. For long range, more than 200 yards or so for a laser, you have to zero the laser so the point of impact occurs where you want it to at the desired distance. THis can be challenging too. This is true of optical scopes too of course. I tried using my scope to locate the laser beam. I did find that it was a help in some longer range shoots, edven out to 300 yards in dim light. But not enough to give away my position with its bright green beam.On the other hand, on smgs which are short range weapons it had some real advatages. These would apply to any semi auto carbine too.At 50 yards or less and less is important, the laser allows you to instantly aquire the target and fire. You can thus not have your eyes on the weapons sight plane.THis makes engeing mutiplke tasrgets at close rang remakably quick and accurate, especialy in low light.Full auto weapons have to be aimed properly too it ain't like in the movies where they shoot from the hip.But I can point shoot very well with any psirol, hitting in the tight kill zone out to 36 yards evry time without using the sights of the pistoil at all. The laser I feel is best used at 50 yards or less in dim light, even the brighter green one.It does provide an advanbtage once you get used to it. ALSO it is gret training aid when mounted on replkca psitols. I teach poiunt shooting this way in th.."

"I put the laser on my AR-15 but it will not stay zeroed in. The laser has to be readjusted after every shot. I called leaper about the problem and they are giving me a hard time about replacing the laser. Do not take a chance on purchasing this item!"

"Had this for a while... very bright but it is also huge and heavy! My biggest complaint is that it will not hold a descent zero. It will stay in the general area but it will move a little every shot. Would not recommend!"

"I mounted this on my AR and it works great. It zeroed very easy and the laser is nice and bright."

"If your dot keeps moving around for you & you lose your point of aim. Try a very small dab of clear fingernail polish on your laser adjustment screws. This will act like loctite on your mounts, don't forget use loctite on the laser base mount.Hope this helps some people! I also used a cord organizer grip strip( velcro strip ) for the cord on the pressure switch to keep from getting in the way. They are 11' long, black, come in a 5 pack at wally world in the hardware section."

"I bought this laser in 08 and last week I bought it again. The first one I like much better because the adjustment screws are allen head and are recessed. The new one has screws sitting above the body of the laser and can get caught on things, losing your zero. The one in the picture is like my old one. Both of my lasers work very well and are easy to zero. I see the laser easy in the day out to 50 yards and you can see it at 100 but I have to walk it out watching it. At night very easy to see and what a blast to shoot with. It's like point and shoot. I would and will buy it again when I do my next build. Don't worry be happy and read the instructions on the battery."

"This is an excellent laser. Visible out to 1/3 mile. Even during the day. The beam isn't but the dot is. May need optics to see though. To those who had zeroing problems. The reason it won't hold zero is the springs or whatever mechanism is putting pressure on the laser as you unscrew the fine aim screws isn't strong enough to push the laser due to tight tolerance in the screws. To fix this take the laser off. Unscrew the fine aim screws almost all the way out. Softly tap the laser screw sides down on a table. Do not tap directly on the screws! This will allow the laser to move into the farthest outward position. Now reattach the laser and zero by only screwing the fine aim screws in. This will have the laser suspended with tension on both sides between the spring and fine aim screw. I know its a a lot to go through and its a bunch of crap stuff is supposed to work how its supposed to work but other than this mild annoyance its a fantastic laser. Especially for the price. Unfortunately made in China but at least if Red Dawn happens we'll be using their own stuff against them lol. Would recommend"

"Poor quality for sure! It won't stay in one point at all, nor is it very well made."

"First off its true, it will NOT hold zero out of the box. The adjustment screws are way too loose. Easy fix though, get it zero and use something to glue them into place. I used black nail polish since the screws are gold. Other than that the thing works great. IT is extremely bright. Can be seen at roughly a half mile in the dark. So bright in fact that you can see the entire beam front origin to destination. I have this on my AR and will not be with out one..."

"This is by far the poorest item I have ever purchased from CTD I was so unhappy I gave it to a kid next door for his airsoft! It wont hold zero the adjustment screws were loose and moved due to firing an AR. It is not very good quality at all and was a little pricey for junk."

"The green laser is very visible out to 75 yards, at 100 a scope is needed (but I do not plan to use it at that distance). I sighted it in for 25 yards, and like some of the other reviews, the screws are too loose to hold for the recoil of my AR-15. Back out the screws a bit and put LocTight on the threads and it helps."

"Is consistently off by 3 or 4 inches at 25 yards. Screws are too loose to hold proper zero."

"I found out the hard way that this product cannot handle any recoil. It worked perfect until I brought it to the shooting range. I wasn't even able to zero it in before it died on me. I fired 1 round and compared to my scope thats zeroed in, make adjustments and then fired one more round. There was no rapid fire at all, not allowed at the indoor range at any time. I repeated the procedure about 10-15 times MAXIMUM and it is COMPLETELY DEAD. I had sent UTG an e-mail about the 1 year warrenty that is provided with the product. I will post on another review to let everyone know how they are planning to work out the situation whenever they send me back a reply."

"I read the CTD reviews on this laser. There are a ton of mixed reviews. Because of the price vs. specs, I gave it a shot. This is a very big laser. I read the recoil reviews, so I opted with a top mount and added a 1/2\" riser to my scope for clearance and it fits great. Super bright and no recoil issues whatsoever. Lots of BANG for your BUCK, especially for green! Definitely recommended!"
