"Pros:This laser is VERY bright. I have only had it for a short time, but you can see it from a LONG ways away in daylight. The body appears to be made of very sturdy materials and the mount fits very securely on my side of my AR-15 4-rail gas block.Pressure switch cord is nice and long and seems sturdy.Cons:The adjustments are pretty darn coarse (you move the - this may be normal for lasers (This is my first one) but I imagine that it would be pretty hard to get the laser right where you want it at 100 yards. But then again, who uses a laser that far away??Bottom line: AWESOME AWESOME laser - I still can't believe how bright it is. I'm glad I spent the extra $$"

"Just received this in the mail and immediately had a love/hate relationship with it.Love: the laser is very bright and easily viewable at any reasonable distance even in a fairly well lit area. Seems well made with good aluminum and fit and finish is nice and clean. The three mounting \"claws\" are easily tightened and provide a very positive grip on the Picatinny rail. Windage and elevation adjustments on the laser are nice and work well. The pressure switch on the cord also requires a reasonable amount of pressure to activate the laser. For me it was just right, not so much pressure you have to change your grip, not so sensitive that the laser is constantly on.Hate: the curly cord. At the shortest, it's 8\" long so you can't reasonably mount this on a pistol unless you want to fight the cord constantly. Tried to mount it on my M4A3 and had the same problem, constantly fighting the cord. I couldn't find any reasonable mounting option except mounting the pressure switch to the forearm grip, and that left a 3-4\" loop of cord dangling. An easy way for Laserlyte to solve this whole issue would have been to include both the curly cord (which also functions as the back plate and battery door) and a manual switch back plate. Let users decide which they prefer and be truly \"universal\".Unless you're absolutely convinced you want the pressure switch (which does seem like a great idea) save yourself the headaches and get the manual switch version. I'm returning this for a manual switch version to save myself further grief."

"Well I just got in in and I am not impresseed. I will say the cord and switch look nice. I have seen on/off switches that look worse before. I was ready to see a bright laser for the extra price and it is no different than the $5.00 lasers at the local convinent store. I would not recommend this laser. It is too expensive for what you get."
