An exact reproduction of the best bipod ever made for the big M14 rifle. This all steel bipod folds up for carrying and quickly deploys for use. Attaches directly to the barrel and still allows you to use the correct military leather sling. Legs fold and extend between 8" and 11", each leg is independently adjustable to account for uneven terrain. Durable steel construction ensures this bipod will last as long as your rifle.

"It works like a bi-pod should. I carried the SAW for about a year in Iraq it had a great bi-bod that served every fundamental. The only problem is its steel, therefore its heavy. Other than that, excellent bi-pod, as good as what the SAW comes equiped with. You can 800 meter point targets over iron sights with the saw, Done it plenty of times. A great product."

"Right out of the box its a mixed review. This is steel and that's a plus. Its more weight, that's not a plus. It is pretty loose, flippin and flappin and not fixed. So it would be noisy and not for stealth but probably good if you stick it in the mud. It attached in a few minutes, right in front of the gas tube plug. Every time you shoot, you clean, and the bipod needs to be removed. The legs will adjust to several lengths so you can manually set it for uneven terrain but you aren't likely to need that. The bipod allows some canting, rotation, which should be useful but it takes more practice to get a good position. The sling loop seems to be pointed in the wrong direction and I'm going to turn it around. It clamps to the barrel but I'm leery of that and will have to test to see if it changes the point of aim. I'd rather attach it to the gas tube but the mount does not fit that. I may rework it to try that but that might not be good for other reasons. I don't see anything else in the other bipods that appeals so I'm going to keep these and test them further. I haven't seen the real thing but I'm sure they would be pricey and I'm not going to war with these. Right?"

"I have had, in the past, exact replicas of the M14 bipod. This may look like one but there are differences. The method of attaching it to the rifle is not the same and takes some tinkering. Out of the box it is a little stiff so be prepared to spend some time working the legs back and forth to loosen it up. Still for the price it does the job it was intended and I am using it."

"It's made of steel so it should last. It adds a little weight but a strap can be attached to it to help carry the weight. It will be used lying down so the weight won't matter or can be easily detached for shooting standing up without the extra weight. I put it on my SKS and I'm happy with it."

"I replaced the factory sling mount on my M1A with a tactical rail and this heavy duty bipod slides on perfectly. The barrel clamp assembly on the bipod is easily removed, allowing you to attach the bipod to tac rails. Test fired last weekend and this bipod is solid. Just what I was looking for at a great price."

"This product does not fit on the scout without either shaving down the mount or buying a rail system. The product does however, have a solid design and seems to be a good value. But there should be an indication that is DOES NOT FIT THE M1 SCOUT AS IS."

"To echo PDD and CW: It gets a mixed review. It's steel, rugged but heavy. It is VERY loose, not fixed. The legs flop around when folded or extended. It attaches right in front of the gas tube plug. It needs padding to avoid metal on metal contact. The legs adjust to several lengths, but they and the mount release are the only parts that are stiff and harder to move. It is a cheaply made knockoff but seems like it will work. It's OK."

"I wish I had caught the review above before purchasing this bipod. It does NOT fit the Springfield Armory M1A scout. The construction is satisfactory and is easily manipulated."
