The reduced form factor of the ASP Tungsten LED Flashlight is made possible by using a revolutionary light engine. ASP research developed a unique technology which produces brilliant white pre-focused light. A constant current driver is combined with a mathematically precise collimating cone to achieve unparalleled output. Advanced optics are coupled with precision machined high strength aerospace aluminum. All surfaces of the ASP Tungsten Flashlight are then anodized with a proprietary Type III matte black hardcoat finish. Powered by high density, leak proof CR123A PTC Lithium power cells, the Tungsten provides a ten year shelf life. The domed lens and tri-mode switch assembly are both o-ring sealed. The ASP Tungsten Flashlight is blindingly bright, yet totally secure. The center locking position on the ASP AA2 Tungsten Flashlight with 350 Lumen LED guards against accidental activation. Turned to the right, the switch provides constant illumination. To the left it is intermittent. A clip groove is machined into the lens and switch end of each light. A heat treated pocket clip snaps into either groove. The Tungsten USB adds a micro USB charge port, internal charge circuit and Lithium-Ion power cell to the distinctive Tungsten design. Premium Tungsten features remain. A ringed, three flute grip is machined into a matte black Type III hardcoat anodized aerospace aluminum body. The detachable pocket clip on the ASP Tungsten LED Light may be positioned lens up or lens down. All connectors and springs on the Tungsten USB are gold plated.
