"Zero FTF, zero FTE and zero misfires in the whole can. You can't go wrong with this stuff and the price is great, too. Watch what you shoot at though, these rounds went through 3/8 stainless steal. 3/8 carbon stopped it, but barely."

"Tula ammo shoots good no jams no misfires overall good cheap ammo only reason i gave it 4 star is because Ii got shorted in my can 4 boxes (80 rounds) there were only 28 boxes instead of 32...don't know what to really say about that or if it's even worth complaining, factory error maybe ? IDK"

"I purchased this ammo to feed a hungry Romanian RPK, several Czech Vz-58's and a Draco pistol. I fired through the whole can over the course of several months and am thrilled to report that I had not a single misfire, failure to feed, or failure to eject in any of the guns I used it in. If you want to dump a couple hundred rounds into a hill on a pleasant spring afternoon, this is the ammo to get. Cheap, reliable, and clean. CTD shipped quickly (had the ammo within a week), the box was well packaged, the can itself in great condition, the ammo boxes inside pristine, and it came with a can opener to boot. Highly recommended for the 7.62x39 plinkers in your safe. Will be reordering."

"The title to my review says it all. Anyone complaining about this ammunition needs to have their guns checked for malfunctions. I've fired a total of 400 rounds through my SKS and my WASR-10 without having a single problem."

"I've ran about 200 rounds through my AK-47 and had no issues. They were surprisingly accurate too for the price. The spam can is a bit of a pain to open, but not that big of a deal, can opener does work well."

"This is my first 7.62x39 used on my first ever owned AK- model SA-85, the Hungarian variant AK-47. This ammo works like a charm. I find my AK gobbling it up and asking for seconds and thirds. I just spent one tin of 640 rounds within a 2 week period to break in my AK. I had one jam in the beginning and I'm sure it was the fact that it was because the rifle was not cleaned before I used it after purchasing it from a private seller online (they had it cleaned prior but was sitting around since last use and I wanted to shoot it asap since I was my first time owning/shooting an AK). It worked fine after that and when I cleaned it, the remaining 400 rounds worked flawlessly, no hiccups, misfires, jams, etc. This is the more reasonably priced ammo on the market and non-corrosive! Do yourself and your AK a favor and buy it!"

"This is good ammo but, my Mak-90 likes Ulyanovsk ammo better. Haven't figured out why. Always a tighter grouping with Ulyanovsk."

"I bought five cans of this. The first two were great and cheap too. The last three cans have been dud after dud after dud after dud after dud............ Well you get the idea. I would say about 20 percent failed to fire and they all had a good smack on them from the firing pin so I know it's not a gun issue. I'm buying American made brass from now on. Might as well keep some jobs here and get ammo that does what it is supposed to do.....go bang. Every one wins."

"Great ammo for an AK or SKS no problems! Never missed one fire! I've been through one Russian ammo can with great results, I'm expecting the same from my new can. Tool included, easy open if you can work a can opener! Ha! And the bullets are about a half inch or so from the top, so dont worry about puncturing a box!"

"I have gone through two cans of this stuff. Zero mishaps. This is great ammo for the price especially if you're just shooting at paper targets. It does make your weapon VERY dirty so be sure to clean it well after you have fun! I recommend this ammo for anyone who just wants a ton of lead to throw at a target for fun."

"I have four Russian SKSs, dated 1950, 1951, 1954, and a 1955/56. Every rifle loves this ammo. I shoot 1-1/2 inch groups at 100 meters with all four SKSs. You can't go wrong with Russian ammo designed for a Russian gun. SKS or AK-47!!! Don't miss out before the SHTF day!!! It's hard to go shopping for ammo and guns on that day, because you will run into people who will kill you for whatever you have!! You'll need ammo you can store for years; even a lifetime if needed!! My Russian ammo tin for 7.62x54R for my 1938 M91/30 and my 1952 M44 is dated 1976!! Bet you every round will fire!! And the five tins with 7.62x39mm I have in the safe for my SKSs will also."

"Such a disappointment. At least 20% FTF in my Mini-30. Big dimple in each primer. Can't any ammo that I can't trust to go bang every time."

"Can't beat it. I have Tulammo cases of .45 ACP, 7.62x39, and 7.62x54R It's a great way to store it, and they are kind enough to provide an opener."

"Saiga 7.62 eats this stuff up. One can nearly gone and one on order. I love the great price and the great bang! Cool oldschool military can with opener."

"This ammo shoots great out of my WASR. I've shot over 1500 rounds of this stuff and never had one fail to fire or give me any trouble. Very pleased. If this ammo is giving you trouble, you must not be shooting it out of an AK. Not the most accurate, but I'll hit the gong from 200 yds at my range, 19/20 shots using iron sights. The one that misses is probably my fault anyway."

"What's not to like? Good price, and my WASR loves it. But what ammo will an AK or WASR not fire?"

"Bought several cans of this and it shoots great in my saiga. I also like that it comes in the can(with an opener) so I can store it in the basement or w/e without having to worry about it getting wet."

"Nice new ammo and the can comes with an opener. I was surprised that they all packed in legit boxes. Works great for the slide fire stock shooting as well as more controlled shooting."

"Can't beat the price for this ammo. Can't complain either. Every time I pull the trigger, it goes bang, nothing wrong with that. This ammo is in a sealed can will be put in the closet and saved. Fast delivery from CTD. Have bought many items from them and will continue to do business with them."

"Ammo works terrific in my SKS. However, I was very disappointed in whoever shipped this. Upon arrival the can looked like it had been dropped from a ten story building then hit by a semi truck. Several ammo boxes in the can had been damaged, but thankfully the ammo seemed to survive."

"Everything about this is great. I got it within the week, and besides it being a bear to open up everything was better than I expected. The ammo was perfect, and assorted into 20 round boxes and shoots great out of my AK47 and SKS, very accurate, burns clean, and is very reliable. I have shot well over 200 rounds, and have not had one problem with the ammo. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants good, and cheap ammo."

"I have shot 1/2 a can (300 rds) and the ammo shoots well. Be careful this will penetrate 1/4 inch hardened steel plate at 75 yds. No mis-fires out of my Saiga AK-47 using this ammo. The steel can will keep this long term but it's a real pain to open. I guess the real test of ammo is I liked it well enough to buy the second can."

"I bought this to add to my stockpile and haven't tried any of it. However, I noticed that the writing on the spam canis in English. That makes me wonder if it is new production or if it is surplus with the Russian markings painted over."

"I ran 400+ rounds of this so far through my Century C39. Every one shot just fine and seems to be more accurate than I am. I'll definitely buy some more when I run out."

"Excellent ammo for the price. I don't see why people complain about this ammo being dirtier than others because I can't tell that much of a difference when I clean my AK after shooting. I have went thru over 1000 of these & they have went bang every time I've pulled the trigger with no misfires, failures to feed or failures to extract. They have been surprisingly accurate in my case. I love em,5 star all the way."
