Unequaled Value! Unquestioned Performance!
Try some TULAMMO, manufactured at the Tula Cartridge works in Russia. Founded in 1880, Tula Cartridge Works is one of the most significant producers of small-arms ammunition in the world. Over the past several years the factory launched production of a wide variety of commercial products for training, self-defense, and hunting. Such ammunition is marketed Worldwide under the trademark TULAMMO.
The cartridge .308 Win (7.62X51) is used for sporting and hunting shooting through bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles and carbines. The cartridge keeps its qualities under various climatic and weather conditions independent of the season and at a temperature from 20 to + 50 C.

TulAmmo is converting from a Bimetal Jacketed projectile to a Zinc Coated projectile. Zinc coating is a chemical method of surface treatment (galvanizing) which gives the bullet jacket a more uniform and consistent protective layer than that of machine-stamped bimetal bullet jackets. Thanks to this, cartridges with zinc-coated bullets provide up to 10-15% better shooting accuracy than cartridges with bimetal bullets.

"I bought several boxes of these to try them out in my Saiga .308. I loaded them into my 25 round mags and fired as fast as I could. There were no FTF/FTE. I also fired at random targets at 100-150 yards and the accuracy was as good as Brown Bear/Silver Bear ammo. I am buying more today."

"I bought some to put through my CETME. It cycled just fine. It was straight as to be expected for low cost FMJ and the price is right."

"I bought several boxes of this ammo just to be sure they functioned properly in my rifle. Well, my M1A eats this stuff like candy. Out of the eighty rounds I fired, not a single malfunction of any kind. The ejected shells seemed to end up in pretty much the same area, meaning a fairly consistent shot to shot powder charge.I will be ordering more of these in the near future. I would recommend you buy a couple of boxes to make sure your rifle likes them, just to be sure. But other than that, I highly recommend them. 5 out of 5."

"I bought 100 rounds to try in my HK 91 and CETME. It worked great. It seems to be cleaner than the Brown Bear. My rifles are noticeably cleaner after firing the TulAmmo than Brown Bear. Tula has always had a great reputation for their guns, and the ammo seems to be the same quality. With this ammo, I can afford to go shoot all the time."

"I had one FTF, but on a second strike it fired. For $6, this is great ammo. I used it to get a rough estimate on sighting in, and the Remington's I shot next were right in the same group."

"I bought 500 rounds of this ammo last week, went through 2 boxes and it seemed like the primer was too hard, and would not fire. You could put the (attempted) once fired rounds back in the chamber and it would fire fine. I am hoping it was just a bad batch because I have ordered several thousand rounds of ammo from CTD and will continue to do so."

"This is not performance ammunition, I understand that. But it doesn't even group at 75yds. 9 inches at 75 yards, I thought my scope was off so I tried some Hornady 150gr. and just like it should, my Remington 700 SPS Varmint was shooting .416\" groups all the way to 400yds.This is dirty plinking Ammo at best and not even that. I can say I had absolutely no failures to fire out of 200 rounds. I will stick with Hornady A-max."

"Just put 160rnds through my new PTR91 GI model without a hitch. Open sights at 100 meters got all rounds in the middle of a silhouette. Time to order some more! BTW, the PTR GI model is sweet!"

"10% of every magazine misfired on a New AR-10. 7.62 X 39 in new SKS suffered same fate. Brown Bear worked fine. The first test is will it even fire...."

"This Ammo functioned fine out of my M1A Standard with a 2-7x Leupold. After shooting 2 boxes out of the gun, I had no problems. At 100yds they shot about 2in groups which is ok for steel cased MilSurp Ammo."

"I bought 120 rounds .223 Rem of TulAmmo at my local Walmart store. At the range, my M4 Bushmaster goes through them without one misfire and grouping was about 1\" - 3\" at 100 yards (scope: 3x9x40 Leupold). So I ordered 200 rounds from CTD of .308 Win Mag FMJ 150 Grain for my T/C Encore Pro Hunter rifle; every single bullet failed to fire the first strike , but it fired on second strike because the primer is too hard. It's good for noise, recoil and for paper target practice down range. Thanks CTD for your low low prices."

"Good stuff, dead on. A little dirty but if you're cleaning anyway what's the big deal. No FTF after 100 rounds. Can't go wrong for the lowest priced 308 on here."

"Bought for the first time from CTD, 250rds of Tula .308. Zeroed a brand new bolt action with Winchester ammo, then shot a box of Tula. The ammo shot true to the zero I had on the rifle, good feeds, and the barrel was suprisingly cleaner than I expected based on comments I have read on other Tula ammo. Very pleased. Quick shipping from CTD. Will buy again. THX"

"Just took these out to the range with my CETME. I had read the reviews but I've been fooled before and ended up with a bolt action CETME. These rounds performed great! Cases ejected about 20ft and I was able to get the scope sighted in at 100 yds with a 2 inch group and could consitantly hit a 3'x 3' steel plate at 565yds. Can't ask for more from cheap .308. Will be buying more as soon as they are in."

"1. Wouldn't use it in a hunting rifle. It's hard steel cased and won't conform as well to the chamber. It is sealed up well to resist moisture, but also has hard primers that a bolt/hunting rifle might not like. 2. Great for any military styled rifle. Open sights at 100 yards with a Cetme, I had 2-4 inch groups. Depending as much on me and the sights as anything else. Performs great for the cost. 300 rounds only one stove pipe, one primer so hard it actually took a second hit. The one stove pipe may have been a crap milsurp aluminum mag as it's been known to give issues. The one ftf could have been a bolt not fully closed, it was during very rapid fire. Works well, shoots well, groups well. It's not match grade ammo for 7$ a box. It's good practice ammo, it's fun to shoot, it hits in the same area as my 150 grain and 174 grain Federal brass stuff does (give or take 2 inches). This makes practice affordable. For that purpose, or in any real \"battle\" situation it's accurate to man sized targets as far as my eye will see with open sights. Don't expect to win competition with it, but you can trust it to fire and cycle consistently in guns made to shoot hard primer steel ammo."

"Purchased one thousand rounds of these, and am slowly working my way through the lot. So far not a single FTE or FTF, and the powder burns surprisingly well! At 100 yards I was able to shoot a 10-shot 2-inch grouping through an M14. I actually prefer these rounds to American Eagle (cheap brass) which had given me problems before in the past."

"Bought some of this when it was on sale. Shot a box through my match M1A and a couple boxes through my SOCOM16; No FTF or FTEs, seemed a bit \"hot\". Accuracy out of my M1A was about 3-4 MOA with 5 round groups/iron sights at 50 yards but that only says that that gun didn't like it. No complaints from an action shooting match. Was told later that it made a big fireball out the end of the SOCOM16. Functions fine, accuracy rates with milsurp I suppose, and nice not having to worry about picking up the brass. Good price when it was on sale, but at regular price I can get reloadable brass case for only a little bit more elsewhere."

"Inexpensive ammo for an inexpensive rifle.....Used this to sight in my new Mossberg 100 ATR 308 winchester.....very pleased with its accuracy! Its not what you shoot, but how you shoot it! Shooters make the shots, not the ammo!"

"I bought this hoping for some cheap three gun ammo for my FAL.Two out of ten failed to ignite on first strike even with my heavy hammer spring. Appears to be lightly loaded as I had to really crank the gas setting up to get reliable extraction and at best, it shoots minute of berm at 100 yards. Put it away. cranked the gas down and went back to NATO stuff."

"Shot 200 rounds out of my properly functioning CETME, no failures of any kind.It seems as if every ammo out there gets one bullet reviews because it doesn't work in this gun or that gun. Your gun doesn't operate well with this ammo, not this ammo doesn't operate well with your gun. Well, it's the cheapest .308 I can find at the moment, and it worked for me."

"This ammo worked awesome in my POF P308 16\" It is not the best grouping ammo but if you want to send a bunch of rounds into the dirt at an inexpensive price, do buy! I liked this ammo alot except the fact that they do not offer it in a hollow point or soft point for hunting applications. Good overall for plinking and penetration. I did have the occasional failure to fire due to a deep seated primer."

"My son ran 80 rounds through my Century arms CETME, with only 2 jams, and both were stovepipes. I let my teenage son shoot the weapon. Teenager = rapid fire magazine emptying. This is not unusual for this weapon and the way it was being handled. It shoots straight, but does not operate as well as in a slow, controlled fire. I had no jams. Most importantly my son had BIG FUN while I was not seeing many dollars evaporate, as he burned through ammo. Accuracy was acceptable all the way around. Dollar for dollar, I give it 5 stars."

"This was my first order I made from CTD and I am impressed to say the least. This ammo is really nice. I have shot Tula ammo in the past but not in 308 Win. It shoots a little dirty in my WASR10 63 uf and in my Rock Island 1911 45 ACP but, just wipes up with no solvent needed. I'm sure I will be pleased with this ammo also. Thanks to CTD for the super fast delivery and excellent customer service. I will be doing business with you again that's for sure!!!!"

"Put about a thousand of these through a new SAI M1A. Got a couple of light primer hits on them, but otherwise they extracted and cycled fine. A little dirty and accuracy isn't anything to write home about, but for the cost of ammo it is a great plinking choice. Recommended."

"I've shot 400 rounds of this stuff with no FTE's in my PTR-91. I do have about 1-2% FTEs with military brass ammo and also Federal brass ammo (both due to bent cases). I can't effectively reload PTR fired brass anyway, so steel cased ammo is the logical choice. I'm used to a bit of extra cleaning with TUL-AMMO but who cares about 5- 10 more patches after a shooting session? I have not systematically analyzed accuracy thus only 4 bullets. I would also like to check the actual velocity through a chronograph, but that's for the future. In the final analysis I'm stoked that the best feeding ammo for my PTR is also some of the least expensive."

"I got a CETME for Christmas so I thought I'd buy some cheap ammo to try it out for some target shooting enjoyment.(400 rds.) First of all I have to agree with other users of this ammo... it's DIRTY for sure!!! Might come close to what I'm used to seeing when using a muzzle loader. But for the price I can live with that. It still cycles through the CETME fine with the frequent FTF's though. Grrrrr!"

"Any of this ammo Cheaper Than Dirt sells will do the trick. If you have a clean and decent gun it will cycle, go bang, hit a six inch target at least 50 yards away, and eject. If you have a dinged up cartridge, do not put it through your rifle. My FN Scar 17s will chew through the cheapest or most expensive ammo around with ease. I don't think the receiving end of any ammo will care which round you have in the barrel."

"This is cheap ammo. I put it through my Springfield M1A Scout, two Remington 40-Xs, and a Remington R-25. All of them hit the steel at 350 yards. This ammo goes bang every time. It's not match grade, but is super cheap. Enjoy it for what it is. Make sure to clean your gun after shooting this ammo, as it sure is dirty."

"I shot some of this ammo in total darkness on Saturday. Giant fireballs of death came out of my Saiga 308. It made lots of flash and noise. Who needs a flashlight? Just use this ammo! All joking aside, it's great stuff. It cycled perfectly, with no FTE or FTF. It seems like pretty hot ammo. Came fast as always."

"Bought 10 boxes for range time, couldn't beat the price. I expected cheap ammo, but what I received were duds. Out of all 10 boxes, maybe 10-20% of the rounds even fired. The rest misfired. Was shooting out of a brand new M1A Scout squad, fired some Federal ammo at the same time without issue, so it must have been a bad batch of TulAmmo. All rounds were struck, but primers must have been seated too deep or something. All of the ammo had to be disposed of; can't be trusted to fire safely. Credit to Cheaper Than Dirt's customer service. After I sent pictures of the bad ammo, I was give a full refund to purchase a different brand. Definitely kept me as a customer; was more than I expected. As far as this ammo, I wold recommend spending a little more and playing it safe."

"No issues thus far with this ammo, my M1A works great with this stuff. Even tried out a few 10-round stripper clips with this ammo/rifle. Feeds, shoots, and even cleans just fine. At least for me anyway, I tend to clean every weapon after use anyway. Not sure why people even bring up cleaning after shooting some ammo... Isn't this like common sense, or do people still need to be told to wipe after they... Well you get the idea, good ammo :)"

"Fired my new M1A at the range this morning with this ammo. With iron sights I sighted in at 50 yds, slight adjust for 100yds, and then with a couple clicks I was on target at 200yds. "I bought 200 rounds of this, went to the range last weekend and fired 40 rounds out of my Howa m1500. I didn't have any problems what so ever! I shot out to 300 yards, and it actually out performed the Federal 7.62x51 ammo I had brought to do a comparison. I hope the remainder of the 160 cartridges are as great as the first 40 were. If you're a first time buyer don't hesitate, you will be happy with this ammo."
