"This ammo is standard velocity and it wouldn't cycle my new Walther PPK/S .22. It did, however cycle for the most part in my dedicated AR-15. In both guns, some of the rounds didn't go fully into battery so I had to force the slide closed. I expect no problems in my bolt action rifles. If you are buying this for a semi-auto, don't be surprised if it doesn't cycle well."

"I am happy to have any .22LR at this point and better to have than to want. Fed a hungry Ruger Mk 2 without hiccups, few failure to fire but they are .22's. Waxed, un-plated lead round with the usual dirt. I put a few cans away for later."
4.0 5
"As others have stated, this is standard velocity ammunition and some semi automatics require high velocity to work reliably. this worked perfectly in my S&W M&P 22 pistol, and almost as well in my Sig P226 conversion. Ran 100% suppressed. I had no failures to fire, and a few failures to eject. It is sub-sonic in pistol length barrels. I will buy more so I can use my .22's again."
5.0 5
"This ammo ran just fine in my rifles. Those included an old Browning, a Ruger 10/22, and a Smith & Wesson MP 22. Accracy was fine, and didn't seem any dirtier than any other lead bullet 22. We went through 3 cans, and I don't think any of us had any issues."
4.0 5
"Low velocity rounds would not cycle Walther PPK semi auto. One out of seven average failed to fire, continuous loading and ejecting failures (jamming in clip, stuck in chamber). Better than no ammo, but best suited for single shot or bolt action rifles and revolvers."

"I picked up several cans, and just got them today. Fired a few rounds in a Phoenix HP22A 3-inch, no negative issues. Cannot attest to accuracy, I wasn't doing anything much but listening for a bang. Decent TulAmmo. Like one of the other guys said, it's better to have than to want. These appear to be very freshly-made, sealed 3-in diameter plastic cylinders, and the bullet is bright and the brass is really clean. I think a few cans will become really good backup stock until .22LR becomes plentiful again. Buy it, you'll like it."

"Fired well out of all of my long guns but my Walther P22 hates it...Stupid picky Walther"

"At 15 cents per round, very good ammo. Glad I got 1,000 rounds. My nephew got some too. I didn't have any more mishaps with it than I have had with Remington brand. Like most .22 LR rounds, every 50 or so a dud or jam occurs. But that could be the gun's fault, not the ammo."
4.0 5
"I was very happy to find some 22 ammo. These bullets are great for plinking and target practise. The standard velocity rounds are quieter and have less recoil but as noted in other reviews will not fire and eject consitently in my autoloaders. They work great in bolt action and lever action rifles. The accuracy was every bit as good as my Remmington, Wincheser, and CCI ammo when compared side by side. This ammo is dirtier than American made and will require more frequent cleaning."
4.0 5
"I was not surprised by the performance at all. Use it for \"plinking\" with my kids. Works very well in my bolt-action, but not as smooth through the semi-auto. A few jams both feeding & ejecting, but not really enough to be annoying. I'll buy more when the time arises."

"I was very disappointed with these 22LR TulAmmo rounds. Now the even worse news, they are under powered and so can't be used in a semi auto! They jam or get stuck in the chamber. They will work in a pump or bolt action rifle which we used to shoot them. Look for a better deal this isn't that."
1.0 5
"Firing fifty round of this crap in my ruger handgun I had 10 case head separations. Worst ammo I have seen in 70 years of shooting. TOTAL CRAP!!!!!!!!"
1.0 5
"These 22lr are the worst that I have ever used, miss fires, dirty, also jams in my ar 22lr."
1.0 5
"went out today and shot some would not cycle keep jamming up, switched over to the 40 grain Agulia and never looked back."
1.0 5
"Absolute junk! Filthy, inconsistent size and a high rate of failure to fire. Not worth the price at all..."
4.0 5
"I came here to buy more and was surprised at the negative reviews. All 22 ammo is dirty, and plain lead bullets and standard velocity are the worst. Clean the chamber with a wire brush to get rid of the built up lead and wax. Plated bullets and high velocity work better in guns that are not cleaned often or incorrectly. Clean your guns and you will get good results in guns that can run standard velocity ammo. Not all will, but it runs fine in my Ruger 10/22 rifle and Mk. III pistol."

"4 cans, two orders. First can no issues, second more failure to fire. Fourth can has weird head spacing issues and case bulges and other oddities. Its hit or miss with little consistency and no quality control. I sampled 4 cans with at least 50 out of each. Its ammo to burn if you can shoot it."
1.0 5
"Worse than remington thunderbolts. Couldn't get 1/2 of the garbage to chamber in my m&p 15-22 which has no issues with any other 22lr. If it did chamber it didn't go bang and then wouldn't extract without assistance. My gun is clean and gets cleaned after every range session. THIS AMMO IS GARBAGE."

"22 LR ammo is still almost impossible to find. I have enough now that I am hoping to ride out the current political regime that is causing all this chaos. This stuff is very expensive and is subject to supply/demand laws.(not these guys fault though)"
3.0 5
"I bought four cans because there is such a shortage of 22LR on the market. I have yet to fire any so I will be back to up or down grade my evaluation. I did get what I paid for and in a timely manner."
4.0 5
"I purchased 2 cans of this ammo. Found it to chamber well and fire consistently. After firing 100 rounds I cleaned the chamber of my Ruger 22 pistol and had no issues. I would buy this again."
3.0 5
"I agree with the previous opinions. Not great, not cheap, but available. In diferent times, better choices of ammunitions could have been made. It is what it is...This is typical sub-sonic plinking ammo and all of the cautions apply, dirty and less than perfect. But it is what is available."
3.0 5
"Fed well in my Ruger Mk II but not my Remington 190."
1.0 5
"Bought 4 cans of these. Failure to cycle in and auto pistol. Decided to use to hold down tablecloth on picnic table. Useful in that regard."
3.0 5
"C'mon guys it's 22lr for plinking. In a day when 22 is hard to come by at any price high or low. This stuff worked just fine for its use in my 10/22."
1.0 5
"total trash; shot 200 rounds through 10/22 no FTF, no problems; 30 rounds of this 10 FTF."
1.0 5
"About 50% of the first 10 rounds either failed to chamber or failed to extract from a very clean Ruger 10/22 that normally shoots any kind of garbage that you feed it. I looked thru the can of ammo randomly selecting cartridges and found many where the bullet wasn't aligned with the case and many that had loose bullets in the case. I wish that I had read the reviews before buying this product since it can't be returned."
3.0 5
"FYI - this ammo clocks in a bit faster than standard velocity out of my M&P 15-22 (at my location); enough to get it just over the speed of sound from the muzzle out to about 10 yards on average."
1.0 5
"bought 500 rounds. trying to shoot out of my Savage semi. out of the first 14 rounds loaded. I had more miss feeds, fail to fire and rounds that did not eject than successful rounds. Gun is always cleaned and have never had any issues with other ammo. Do not but this stuff unless you want problems."
5.0 5
"I have a 22lr AR-15 rifle that is very selective on the ammo that it will ignite. I was apprehensive on this one because I checked rim thickness and it was all over the place. To my surprise, every singe round I put through it went bang! Slow fire, rapid fire, it didn't matter. I am very excited about it and will order more as soon as I can."

"I tried using this in my sig sauer mosquito and my rifle. These bullets would not cycle, fire, or eject from my pistol at all. Not a single one. I got tired of trying after about 30 rounds. About half did not fire out of my rifle. You would be better off throwing these bullets at something than trying to shoot a target."
2.0 5
"After about 100 rounds fired, I had 10 misfires through a bolt action rifle. You get what you pay for."
3.0 5
"I bought these because they were the only 22LR I could find. Just started shooting them. Out of the first 40 through my Ruger 22/45, only had one FTF and it failed to eject when I cycled the slide, as well. When I pushed it out, and hand loaded it, it fired and ejected just fine. No idea what the hang-up was the first time. Haven't tried these in my Savage MkIII rifle, yet. Don't know if I'll buy it again."

"First off ctd's customer service did a great job in correcting an order goof on my part. I have a Ruger 10/22 with several bx-25 clips and one bx times 2. Cycled with no problems in any of the clips even at a high rate of fire. Lil pricey but cheap compared to some places online. Any cycling or missfireing issues will be credited to the fact that this is 22lr ammo a common problem with all this ammo! Great for plinking and thats what I wanted!"

"Shoots great and the weapon cleans easily after"

"3 Rounds in a brand new 10/22,case separation from rim=brass stuck in chamber and inoperable gun. Was able to run this in a Remingtom 510p bolt gun, aprox 1 out of every 10 rounds is very hot loads. Will never buy again!!!"

"good product, would order again"

"This ammo leaded my SP 101 barrel so bad in only 24 rounds that they were going side ways at 20 feet. When shot from my Buckmark it was accurate, but some of them bulged the case head and were too powerful.THE WORST .22's EVER"
2.0 5
"First 30 rounds cycled in my Ruger sr22 until the back of one of the shells ruptured. Good thing I was wearing my eyes."
1.0 5
"Don't waste your money on this ammo. No wax on the bullets cause severe lead build up. My Ruger 10/22 plugged so bad that I blew the back out the shell and I had to take it to a gun smith to get the shell casing out of the chamber. Unable to get any pattern or consistency even at 50 feet."
1.0 5
"Ordered 2 cans, can't even go through the first 10 w/o a Jam. My S&W M&P22 has gone through 500+ rounds w/o a single jam. On the day I tried these suckers, I spent more time clearing jams than enjoyed my shooting. Ended up leaving 100+ round in the range for anyone to pickup. It is trash."
4.0 5
"I thought I was going to have major problems with this but I shot all 250 with my SIG Sauer 1911-22 this morning with only about 2-3 hiccups over all it was worth it seeing that I cant find .22lr anywhere else in my area."
4.0 5
"Happy to have these at this point. Fired 50 rounds using my Henry 22LR with no issues."
2.0 5
"With ammo so scarce, I was glad to get a couple cans of TulAmmo .22 LR for my CZ 452 bolt gun. Actually, the ammo grouped very well, but i had feed problems with about 2 out of every 10 rounds where the round would not feed into the chamber at all. Additionally, I had another round in 10 that the bolt was hard to close. When it shoots, it's not bad. Looks good, very clean cartridge exterior. Not my first choice, but better than having none."
3.0 5
"No real complaints, if your looking for a cheap ammo to waste at the range then this is it. It shot fine and was cheap enough to have a great time wasting ammo."
1.0 5
"Purchased 1000 rounds to do some plinking with my Browning Buckmark. This is terrible ammo for semi autos I had multiple double feeds, not enough punch to eject the spent case when it does fire and when it doesn't fire the bullet got stuck in the breach. Four times out of the forty I tried to shoot, it didn't fire and was stuck. Had to run my cleaning rod through the muzzle to unjam the round. Needless to say that wasn't a comfortable feeling. I don't recommend anyone doing this to unjam a round in any firearm. I'm not normally a guy to even write reviews, but I feel in an inexperienced shooters hands this can be very dangerous. Those of you that have purchased any of this ammo be very careful."

"Buyer beware. 2 rounds did not cycle properly then had 3 to explode in ruger bolt action and whalter ppk. Both gun brand new! Wife was very pissed after getting a face full of gunpowder blasted in her face, and refuses to shoot again. that was 5 out of 17 bullets to go bad off the bat. Now stuck with over 700 rounds of this crap. I wouldn't even give this away. It might literally take an eye out!"
1.0 5
"Purchased and shot. First 20 rounds had 2 misfires. Then a round split the brass by the rim. Cleared it out and 4 shots later round blew out the bullet load indicator on my Ruger MIII. Now I have to pay to fix my gun. Never again TulAmmo"

"I was so excited to see .22LR in stock that I bought two cans of this stuff. I've fed countless TulAmmo steel case rounds through my AK and figured that these .22 rounds cant be all bad. I knew from the start that my semi-auto walther P22 was finicky, so the fact that these rounds would not cycle through it was not a surprise. Two things DID surprise me - First, the edge of the \"rim\" on these rimfire rounds is beveled in such a way that the extractor on whatever bolt you're using is going to have a helluva time grabbing it. Almost every round was left in the barrel of both my P22 and my 10/22. Second, the build-up in my P22 barrel was so bad after only 50 rounds that the loads were exploding in the breach upon discharge. I kid you not, it literally took a hammer to get a bore brush through the barrel after only 50 rounds. Seriously, .22LR is coming back on the market. DO NOT waste your time and money on these rounds."
1.0 5
"Startling lead build-up after about 100 rounds, about 30-40% blow-out at the Rim like an M-80 going off in the Breach. I ordered 1000 rounds like a dumb-ass. Weak Sauce."
1.0 5
"Bought 4 cans glad to find any .22 LR ammo - but wondering now. Shooting through first can - they feed well in Ruger 10/22. In my Ruger SR22 - I have just had TWO Cases separate within 10 shots. There was Extreme Pressure as slide kicked back and the rear of the case blew off leaving casing in the chamber. The look pretty - but be careful."
1.0 5
"This ammo is absolutely terrible, awful, and EXTREMELY dangerous!! Within shooting a hundred rounds we had a dozen FTF's plus two rounds that completely exploded ,even the shell,in chamber while shooting that resulted in a cut on my cheek and powder all over my 10 year old sons face. It was not the firearm because these incidents happened with two completely different firearms that are kept in pristine shooting condition at all times!I wouldn't recommend this ammo to anyone for any reason because it is literally DANGEROUS to shoot!"
1.0 5
"I bought this ammo for use in my .22 revolver. The brass is over size so the rounds won't slide into the cylinder. You can force them in and they'll fire but then you struggle to remove the empty cases. I only fired or tried to fire about 24 rounds. I'll throw the rest away next time I visit my local range."
1.0 5
"Very disappointed with this ammo. Several misfires, squibs, and when it did work, it was very dirty. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this. Spend a few bucks more for a higher quality product."
1.0 5
"I wish I had read the reviews before I bought 500 rounds. This ammo doesnt like smei-auto at all. Jams, misfires, consistently. 1 out of 4 misfired or jammed my Ruger semi-Auot Pistol and an AR Style .22 rifle."
1.0 5
"I bought a can of this garbage awhile back and it is hands down the WORST ammo I ever came across. I fired approx. 40-50 rounds through two different pistols: a Ruger MKIII and a Hi-Standard Field King with similar results. After about 10 rounds, I couldn't hit a target at 50 ft. After a few more rounds neither gun would reliably function! When I got home and cleaned both guns, SHARDS of lead 1/4 inch long were removed from both guns! It took almost 45 minutes of cleaning to get all the lead out of both guns."
4.0 5
"I only gave a 4 rating due to price. They function fine in a near new Mossberg 702 as well as a very old Marlin Glenfield Model 60. Both are semi auto rifles. One tube fed and the other magazine fed. Quarter size groups at 50 yards."
1.0 5
"Got only about 15 rounds each thru Ruger mk3 and 10-22 before they both became inoperable. Half inch lead shards stuck in both barrels. Even my model 63 didn't like it. Brass expanded so that ejector rod had to be hammered to break spent brass from cylinder. The several good reviewers must have gotten an exceptional batch of this stuff."
1.0 5
"Tried firing these through several platforms and was disappointed each time. Appears the brass is too thin, after firing the end of the brass would get a hole in it causing smoke in the firing chamber or it would blow off completely. I'm stuck with three cans of this junk. Maybe I'll tear down the bullets and use the powder for reloading."
1.0 5
"Wow, terrible ammo. I picked up 5 of these and I wouldn't wish them upon my worst enemy. The brass is so cheap that the backs of the rim were ripping off from the extractor. I tried these in 3 different guns. Ruger 10/22 , Browning Buckmark, and another Ruger Pistol. The bullets would get lodged in the barrel. Had problems with all 3 guns... STAY AWAY!"
