"After many purchases looking for an affordable optic that could handle the recoil, I found it.I purchased and used BSA, NcStar, and even SureFire red dots that would not hold zero. Take into account that I was unable to keep both eyes open with it mounted on the forward handguard rail you could say I was obviously frustrated and figured I would be forced to purchase a red dot that would cost me more than my WASR 10/63. I finally had a chance to test the sight on July 4th, and at 50yds, I was able to drive nails into a 4\"x4\" paper. To check the accuracy of it under sustained fire, let's just say I made a beer can dance about each round hitting its mark until all that was left was mangled aluminum (with both eyes open). Awesome sight and great price. Finally something that worked."

"I'm using this on a 9mm carbine so I can't speak towards robustness. The sight adjustments are mechanical and move the entire upper part of the sight. I don't really care but I find it interesting. The glass is slightly tinted so I don't think it will perform very well in low lighting. Even the lowest power setting provides a fairly bright dot. I've used it once 30-60 min prior to sunset and it seemed to do well in an open area. If you were shooting into a darker area, or maybe in the woods, you might think twice. In those types of conditions, the 2.5 MOA circle dot is unusable. It's too bright and you can't see through to your target. During the normal day, it works fine at distance only, which is to design. -1 bullet due to performance in low lighting. I'd buy this item again."

"I bought this for my first AR. I added a riser (which it doesn't come with) and took it to the range. I have to admit that this is one hell of a sight for the money. I've had it on for around 4 months and after well over 600 rounds it still holds zero. I recommend it for a budget dot scope to anyone. I've never been disappointed by TruGlo. I use TruGlo laser/lights & TFX pistol sights. Great products that are actually affordable."
