"The first thing that must be said about this sight is that it is the BRIGHTEST fiber optic front sight I have ever seen. The body is made of a solid piece of extruded aluminum, then machined out. I think it could take a pretty good smack. Even the clear plastic is well protected, so it would probably still work if it broke. The adjustment tool that came with it works fine. It's made in China, though, and we all know what that can mean. When I removed the battery cap, I couldn't put it back because the light itself had screwed into the threaded hole. But, with a screwdriver and a drop of blue Loctite, the problem was solved. The light button has a rubber cap that sits in the perfect spot to use momentarily with my thumb, but it takes a good push with my pinky to have it stay on, and I like that. The sight has a strait and thin boxy look to it and looks kind of funny from the side, but it only takes up two slots on the gas block. Great for your target gun or home defense gun, only paired with a light. NOT for a battle gun."

"Mounted on front gas block of my DPMS. Was excited at first, but 300 rounds later, the inner electronics are burnt to a crisp. The plastic pieces also melted. Only giving 2 stars because it still works great as a sight, just looks trashy now and the battery illumination is done for. I'd understand if I rapid fired, but I treat my gun like a baby."
