"A nice back-up defensive weapon that is easy to conceal. Very sturdy and fits well in the hand. This is one of the knives, along with a KA-BAR that I have deployed with to Iraq."

"I carry this knife as a backup. The only problem I have noticed is that it is hard to keep ahold of. Nothing a bit of electrical tape couldnt solve though."

"The knife was well build but small then i expected the holster it came with is very cool, the knife can come out of the holster even if the velcrow is straped sence the way it is shaped but it is still prity wicked."

"I purchased this knife sometime ago and I am very pleased. I am a police officer and I wear it as an additional back-up weapon. Other officers in my agency saw it and almost all of them have ordered them as well. The penetration power of it is hard to match. The grip could be improved a little though, when your hands are wet it poses a accident self-inficting issue due to it's smooth grip surface.A rubber grip would greatly improve it's potential. But, overall Great Knife!!"

"This is a great knife. I carry it every day now and feel really secure. One problem is that the andle is smooth. I fixed this by putting some shrink wrap around it and now i never loose grip."

"This knife is what it is. There is no trying to unfold it, lock it in place, or fumbling around. It pulls out and is ready to go. This is a great last option for those who work in \"harm's way.\" The only down side is the smooth handle, but I'm sure you can figure some inventive way to curb this issue. This is a must have for law enforcement and military personnel."

"I feel safe with this knife on me. It's simple, and yet deadly. I personally love the sheath, as it allows me to carry this knife where I please (belt, leg, arm, or on my bag). The only con is that I would feel terrible if I ever use this on someone due to its deadliness. Also, as stated before by nearly everyone, the handle is a little slick. I didn't think it was that bad, but I suppose in the heat of the moment your hands will get clammy and sweaty, and when stabbing full force I could easily see it slipping. Still, it is an easy fix, and it keeps the cost of the knife down.If you buy anything from CTD, toss this knife in your cart as you will not regret it. ---As a side note, it killed the box it came in."

"I've had this knife for some time now.In the reviews poeple complained about the handle slipping out of your hand. Some remedies was elec. tape,A better choice would be,go to your local skateboard shop and get some grip tape the same tape they put on the boards. For the price pick up several of these knifes, put one in the car, backpack, use it to open your letters or(bills),great boot knife..."

"I just received this knife today and was pleasantly surprised! Yeah its a little small in the hand but with the delta type blade you don't need a whole lot of knife to make an impression. Everybody has a different way of helping out the grip, I personally wrapped mine with gutted 550 cord and it feels just like a normal knife. With the knife being less than six dollars you cant go wrong! Thanks CTD!"

"I used this spike for throwing and it broke in half after one day. Good for defense I guess, but seems to be made of weak metal."

"Geoff wrote this:\"I used this spike for throwing and it broke in half after one day. Good for defense I guess, but seems to be made of weak metal.\"This design style of knife is not meant for throwing.. It is a knife that was designed to thrust into the chest (heart) and snap off. The blade style assures no blood, and until autopsy, it appears as a heart attack.Of course, that is not what they are sold for here, but just giving a little history lesson on the design..."

"I would not want to rely on this knife as a last resort for anything but picking my teeth. As CJ stated, the style is designed for thrusting attacks. For self defense, give me a strong liner lock knife with a keen edge. Then I can use it Eskrima style which combines leathal slashing combonations with thrusting attacks. As for the bad guy that pulls one of these on me, I will have him slashed and dying before he can thrust this anywhere close to my heart. As for throwing any knife, I hold to the notion that throwing a perfectly good weapon toward a bad guy is a good way to lose a knife and then a life."
