"I have one of these scopes and wish I had more! This scope is sold out on all of my favorite sporting goods. I have found this scope to be very bright under all conditions, all weather, dropped it, banged it around, and it still works fine! very tough and rugged! It holds zero even after being dialed in many, many times on several types of rifles and calibers from .17 cal to .300 Win.Mag.I own many brands, Swift, Redfield, Zeiss, Leuiplod, Bushnell, BSA,... and I feel more comfortable with this scope (TASCO) than any other! I do not shop by Brand name or price! I go by construction and performance!I will put this scope (TASCO) up against any more expensive brand on the market! If you own anything made by Barska, bring it on! I don't want another Barska scope, not even for free! My cheapest Tasco will put the best Barska to shame!"

"I ordered and got in a TASCO 10-40x50 Target Scope. It was not useable right out of the box. It was slightly off focus at 10X would start going out of focus even further up to 40X. On maximum magnification (40x) I could not get a reasonable focus at anything at any distance from 50 ft to 600 yards. Looking at a known 100 yard target and getting the view through the scope to where the view was \"least blurry\" the front bell was on the marking for \"210\" yards. Since I bought it for the 40x magnification, I was a bit disappointed at this discovery. I fiddled with the rear focus bell and the front \"range\" focus for several hours. Then I took it to the local gunshop and had them play with it for over an hour. We both came to the conclusion; the scope is trash. So I sent it back for a \"same item\" swap. Ummm... TASCO is usually better than that (in my past experiences). Sorry TASCO, but you've not made a believer out of me."

"UPDATE.The Tasco scope that I wrote the review about was made in Korea. The new one that I received was made in China, and it is not worth mounting on anything. The adjustment knobs are loose, the lenses are foggy, and it started falling apart in the trunk of my car in a padded case while driving on a paved road! The Bushnell scopes I have that are made in China are some of the best I've seen, but I'll wait until the Tasco factory in China improves their work.So if you have a Tasco made in Korea, hold onto it."
