"I hate to be all about bling but this stock really brings your sks into the modern age of tactical aggression. The six position butt is simple and smooth. if you have an original clean kit for your sks it will fit into the rear of the butt without rattling. however, your going to need the rubber butt pad to hold it in place. the forward grip rails turns your sks into anything you can imagine. Home protection/invasion, bipod for support ops, flashlights, red dots, you name it. the top rail will allow use of iron sights with out modification."

"I put this baby on my norinco sks "m" which uses standard ak mags and it looks sweet! It doesn't look anything like it used to. I gave it 4 stars cuz i had to do a little filing on the handguard to get the gas tube to lock in place. If you can get past the gap in front of the mag thats there to fit the standard sks mag, it's definately worth it. Thx again to C.T.D. for the awesome service...i ordered 10/21 and received 10/22!!!"

"I put this on a very nice chinese sks and it looks and feels great. The stock itself is very sturdy and goes together with little trouble. Only problem I had was getting the gas tube cover cinched down the way I wanted it but other than that no problems, a great buy!"

"This stock is great. Now I haven't shot with it yet (just put it on the gun last night) but it is sturdy and looks awesome. As others have said about these stocks, I did have to do some filing on the foregrip that covers the gas tube. That was the only part that was a pain though. I put on this stock, some bipods, a scope and of course a TAPCO 20rd mag. It looks pretty mean. It only comes with written instructions so I am going to give you all a link to an actual TAPCO produced video of how to do the installation, step by step.http://www,youtube,com/watch?v=SJ41BDO2NyU -just replace the commas with periods of course."

"TAPCO stocks are AWESOME! Conversion to this TAPCO stock took about 30 min, instructions were easy to understand and all you need is basic handtools. You will need a metal file to file down a small pin you have to replace. It makes your SKS look more tactical and now I have more options for add-ons. I would highly suggest this for your SKS."

"The service I got was great. Got it within 3 days of ordering it. It fits my SKS well. Had to slightly spread the sides apart to fit the breach in the stock. Some slight trimming on the handguard was needed to make the fit over the gas tube ends. That was not a problem with a file and some sandpaper. The OD green stock looks great. Already mounted a red dot scope on the rails. VERY satisfied with the quality and appearance."

"This stock makes my SKS look great. the main stock went on easy with no modifications but the top handrail required excessive sanding to fit in the gas tube ends, it was not hard to do but it took some time. i recomend that you make sure it will fit in the gun and LOCK in place before you put the smalll holding pin in the stock because the pin must be filed to fit and can not be removed without replaceing it. There is an open gap around the exsisting mag but as long as it is kept clean it shouldnt affect the gun. The new pistol grip does have a storage compartment in it but it has a large hole in the top so anything small wouls fall out. Over all this is still an amazing stock."

"Completely changes the appearance of your sks. A few blemishes on side. Gas tube hand cover took some filing and working to make fit. When I went the to tighten the bolt to the nut that holds the butt stock on, the threads ripped right out of the nut. Overall good stock for the price."

"This is a great product, totally changed the look of the gun. It was a very easy conversion on my Yugo. Gas tube hand cover took very little filing and sanding to make fit. Over all a great buy as well as a great shooting system. Am very tempted to buy another for my Chinese SKS. I also purchased the following items from CTD for the weapon. Having a problem getting the 30 round clips to fit around the light holder but 20 rounders should work fine. My only complant is the shipping,I give it one Bullet, I have made 3 orders and had to weight over a week on each of them. These 6 products is what I ordered and they make a mean Tactical Weapon.....1.SKS-030-- Leapers UTG SKS Picatinny Tri Rail Mount Replacemet Cover2.SKS-050-- shell deflector3.MAG-631-- 30 round clips4.57695---- S&W M&P Cree XLamp5.ARR-606-- AR-15 Mako Front Grip with Flashlight Holder6.SKS-075-- Tapco Fusion SKS Rifle System"

"Ordered this stock after reviewing Tapco website and other reviews. It took me only 1 hour to have this baby on my sks and fully funtional with tapco mags I have. Thats pretty good for a novice gunsmither like me. Overall, excellent directions and instructions included with the stock. Shot 100 rounds today with it, has less recoil than an AR I shot a few days ago and it was spot on, really nice adjustable stock. You will not be disappointed with this stock, good job Tapco and Cheaper Than Dirt!!"

"This stock is awesome. It was an easy face lift for my SKS. It took it from the typical to the tactical in approximately twenty minutes. The Fusion worked really well with my rifle. The gas tube cover piece was tight but easily tailored to fit by using a small sanding wheel on a Dremel and a flat file. I took a little from each end. Insert new reataining pin and clamp it on a table vise and file down the marred edges just a bit.One of the two bolts that connect the adjustable stock would not catch a thread and start no matter what I tried. A quick trip to Lowe's or Home Depot was a quick fix and I am always looking for an excuse to go to these stores anyway so nobody hurt. The bolt is a fluke and likely will not effect other customers.I would recommend this product to anyone that wants to improve the looks of an SKS as well as be able to make it more tactical. The price is right IMO and can be very easily installed even for the most novice of the mechanically inclined. Thanks CTD and Tapco!DevilDog1966 Wylie Texas"

"This stock is the ultimate for the sks. mine is a Chinese made and the stock fit near perfect. the only problem i had was getting one since they were out of stock for a while. the gas tube cover was a little tricky to do with few tools. I have a tri-rail scope mount with a 3-9x42 scope, 30rd clip and a front grip. Not even sure if i can call it an sks any more it looks so awesome, I highly recommend this stock!"

"This stock is a great addition to an sks. The only reason I gave it three bullets is cause of the install. Pain in the rear when it comes to installing the gas tube to the included tube cover. pounding the pin out sucks. Plus when you get it on, you will not be able to install the gas tube back on the rifle without shaving or cutting some plastic off the base stock by the front of the rear site. Some people mention filing metal off the gas tube by were it is secured by the pivot clip. Not needed. If you look close, you can see were the plastic does not allow the tube to align properly, so the pivot can secure the gas tube. If you know this first, its easier. works GREAT with the Tapco mags. Have not tried out in the field yet. so far, seams very solid."

"just got this installed today. everything was easy but the gas tube. i knew that by reading other reviews. filed it down a tad for a tight fit. the biggest issue i had with the gas tube was getting the old pin out. that was the longest part of the process. after the tube was finished...everything else took minutes. this stock looks awesome. i also got the 20rd tapco clip. havent fired it yet...will do this weekend. next up...red dot, vertical grip and bipod! then my gun will be complete! :)"

"I have a '78 Albanian and my stock and hand guard cover are about 3-4 inches longer than most SKS's. The stock fit perfect onto another Russian SKS, but was just a bit too short for my Albanian. Just a warning. Great stock though. Simple to put together and looks great."

"I had seen several of these Tapco SKS stock models, but this one with the forward handrail certainly caught my attention. I bought it, put it together in about and hour, put 100 rounds through it with a red a dot scope, and it felt amazing. It is well built, and if anything on it doesn't feel well or seem to fit, it can easily be filed down. I put a Tapco forward handgrip on it, and it is amazingly sturdy. I also use the Tapco 20 rd. magazines, whick are also of great quality. I would recommend this stock to anyone who has an SKS and wants to make it into a up to date sport utility rifle."

"I mounted item #36984 on the gas tube cover of my Norinco SKS, and was shooting 1.8-2.3 MOA in no time! I was pleasantly surprised! Takes 1-2 hours to install, but once it's done, you'll be glad you spent the money. Makes the rifle more comfortable to hold for us Westerners, and the pistol grip places your hand at a nice angle."

"I bought the intrafuse with the bottom rail and pistol grip and the socom tri rail mount for my 56 SKS. Installation was about 30 minutes for both items combined, they look solid and sturdy and are of great quality. I kept my old gas pistol top and mounted the tri rail over that, covering the wood rail up. I gave this 4 bullets because my brother has a DPMS M4 Carbine, and after comparing the two, they look similiar but I was hoping my stock would more resemble his, it is a 1200 dollar gun... but its got metal construction in the stock where the intrafuse is solid plastic throughout. I am very very pleased with this though, it aint no Ar15, but its a tactical nightmare. A buddy of mine who used to own an SKS looked at it and said, Thats an SKS? All my parts except the barrell are made in USA now, and the magazine is made in Texas. In no way am I done accessorizing it, at this point possibilities are endless. Thanks to Tapco for the parts, I can NOT stand the SKS look with the wood stock, actually, before I even bought an SKS, I seen the tapco setup on combatstocks.com, found out what gun it was, and wanted to buy one and set it up the exact same way, sorry about such a long review, but now I take this gun with me everywhere I go."

"Very easy to install on my Chinese SKS. (I did not install the hand guard, I had a similar one)(I removed lower acessory rail because it was where I like to hold front stock) Stock did not save a 'lot' of weight, but is more comfortable to handle than the original stock. Since I do like the stock I will file the edges where the lower accessory rail attached for more comfort. This is a good product (especially the hand grip) I just have a preference for wood stocks except the SKS wood stock. I would like to see a tighter fit around the trigger group. It would be nice if Tapco included a filler piece to fit around the original magazine for a tighter fit for a more finished look for those who do not opt for the 20 round magazine. If you like if you like this type of stock you will enjoy this one. I'm just picky."

"I was skeptical, but purchased this stock anyway. After reading some of the problems people had, I expected to spend most of my day off putting this thing together. What a surprise! A perfect fit! The supplied instructions were easy to follow. Within an hour I had transformed my old Norinco SKS into a modern day tactical weapon! Don't forget the 20 round Tappco clip! You won't regret it. Thanks CTD."

"the stock looks like it's made out of cheap material but it holds up incredibly well and is very light. everything is plastic even the rails, there was some assembly required, make sure you assemble the trigger group with the rest of the gun before you screw the pistol grip on otherwise you will find there is not enough room to put the trigger assembly back in. a socket wrench or something similar is a must when installing the pistol grip. It's the best aftermarket stock you can buy for an sks but it could be a lot better, at least it's strong."

"Just installed this on a Norinco 63. Fits good and tight. This gun accepts AK mags and changeouts seem to be easier with this than the original thumbhole stock magwell. Handguard will need minor fitting as expected. Everything else fit perfect. Only problem was the cheap bolts included to attach the rear tube. One stripped before getting anywhere near tight. Replaced with 10-24 SS."

"This stock is a huge improvement for this rifle. It is a bit tough to install because of the pins in the gas tube, but the outcome is well worth it. I was very pleased with the finished product. I also bought the Tapco 20 round magazine, and it works nicely as well. I don't think you will be disappointed with this product, as I am very pleased with mine. Hope this helps someone."

"For the Short read: CTD is excellent and this is a great product.First off, Cheaper Than Dirt was excellent with delivery. Three days and my package was on my porch. I had also ordered a scope mount from ScoutScopes at the same time as this, both arrived the same day (also an excellent product). I have a Norinco SKS and this stock fit perfectly. I only give it 4 out of 5 bullets for the simple fact it is not a perfect fit, meaning, it is designed to fit a wide array of sks models and tolerances vary from model to model. After the Tapco installation, mine has a large gap between the pistol grip and the tigger gaurd, which has required a little extra attention for cleaning after long and nasty outtings. However, this furniture looks sharp and has functioned flawless so far. Dispite my initial prejudice, I would rate this at 4.5 (but I couldn't so I gave it 4) and recommend it to anybody with a Norinco SKS. Thank you to Cheaper That Dirt for offering a great product and providing such speedy service!"

"I Bought this stock and UTG front rail, fusion foregrip, and a 30 rd mag. Works great with open sights but I later attached a red dot scope. This stock with the foregrip added on the bottom rail is, possibly the coolest thing Ive ever owned. It feels so comfortable, and the overall fit and finish is great, pure tactical. I really just never want to put the thing down, I keep this gun in this form as my self defense gun, before my shotgun. It gets 5 bullets because of the snug fit on my Norinco. Theres just nothing wrong with it."

"As others have said the instal is kinda tricky, not bad but not a snap on. Not sure if its just me, and my friends. But, The reason I gave this 3 stars. Is during rapid fire, the way the top rail is positioned, I sometimes look through it like it is the rear sight. Unless I move the sights to 500 meters. If I had a scope, red dot, it be ok. I wish that rail was not on there, but an option to attach it as you wish. I hink its a bad design or should be noted on the product description. That it "may interfere with iron sights during rapid fire""

"I experienced the same stripped nut problems mentioned by others here. The threads on one of the nuts holding the shoulder stock just pulled out.The major problem was the trigger group. I could not get the trigger group to fully lock-in on this new stock. It would not fully seat on the locking pin. It appears that there is too much plastic under where the rear of the trigger groups seats. The former wood Chinese stock appears deeper. Tapco Customer Service told me that this was normal and that I should try whaching the trigger group with a block of wood and a rubber mallet. This I did with no effect. Tapco is sending a new stock screw and nut, but left me on my own with the non-fitting trigger group. I am disappointed."

"Like one of the previous reviews, The stock looks great and really changes the appearance of the overall rifle. When installing the Tapco (an additional purchase) gas tube and rail unit, I found I had to do some filing for the tube to seat completely, and to allow the lock to close completely, thus holding the tube in place. The trigger group problem has yet to be resolved. Every attempt to push the trigger unit down, allowing for it to be secured by the spring latch to close over the rear portion of the lock. It does appear there is too little depth in the cutout on the stock to allow for the unit to seat properly, even with extremely high pressure. Numerous attempts at this met with no success. Additionally, it appears there may be metal to metal contact between other portions of the trigger group and portions of the barrel. As stated earlier, the stock looks and feels great, but not much good withoutr a trigger."

"I called Tapco regarding the stripped nut on my 11/11 review. Tapco mailed out replacements. When I tried to install the new nut, the threads just stripped out again! I called Tapco and related the nature of the repeat problem and they stated "it might be a bad batch of nuts" and they promised to send replacements again. Time will tell if this problem continues to exist. I hope Tapco gets their act together."

"Easy to install for the most part. You'll most likley spend more time removing the pin in the gas tube than anything else. It took me only 2 hrs to break it down, clean it and put the new stock on. 1 day and 800 rounds later still no problems."

"The third nut received from Tapco finally worked. The trigger group does NOT fit the new Tapco stock and I have had to hire a gunsmith to machine out the excess plastic to accept the Taco stock. I should send Tapco the gunsmithing bill. I judge quality by the manufacturer doing it right the first time. Tapco does not."

"I read all the reviews on this site and gave this purchase a lot of consideration. I decided to go for it. Thank God I did! I was expecting 2-3 hours of work, but I'm handy and knew I could do it. 30 minutes later I was admiring my new sks. Yes, the nut stripped out on me (1 of the 2) but I anticipated it and bought 2 new nuts from the hardware store for 35 cents first. Yes, the pin was tough to get out because it is peened and filed, but it only took 4 sharp taps with a nailset and it was out. Also, tapco gave me 2 new pins in case I failed on my first try, which I didn't. Just have a dremel, nailset, hammer, and good pair of channel-lock pliers. You don't need to be a gunsmith, just don't be in a hurry. I must add that mine is a Chinese SKS. I had no problems whatsoever with the trigger group. This stock is more solid than the original. I have an Aimshot 5mw green laser on the bottom rail and a scout scope on the top. BADASS scout SKS. I now love my SKS as much as my AR now!"

"This is a great stock. The only problem was with the handguard. It wobbles a bit. I put a red dot on it and VFG. It looks great. The bottom rail uses nuts, so you WILL have to take apart the whole gun to get it off/on."

"The shipping was awesome, it is nice that I live in Texas. This stock fit my Norinco SKS with VERY MINOR modifications. All I had to do was sand the plastic down on the gas piston tube cover to get it to fit. The screws for the rear buttstock could be a little longer. Im guessing thats why so many reviews people state they stripped out and I noticed on mine that the screws barely grab the nuts before they start to snug down. You can tell the screws by design are only meant to hold the buttstock in, not apply clamping pressure. People need to keep in mind SKSs fairly crudely produced and from many different countries so there are dimentional differences from one to the other. Tapco was smart in making this with extra material so it can be made to fit every SKS variant and not just one model. I dont think that this reflects poor quality, they are just building adjustability into the stock design. I think its a good product for the price."

"Excellent product. Worked like a charm on my Yugo and my Norinco. Top hand shield/guard required a bit of filing and time to fit properly, but well worth it. Also, note that MAG-634 (magazine), GRIP-240 (front vertical grip), and ARR-280 (rear butt pad) are all compatible with this product."

"Guys....when I got hold of the my first sks, it came with a stock someone made in the basement. It looks odd! I took it apart to clean it and then when putting it back together, had the same problem with the triger group that some of you are describing. ALLOW ME TO HELP! First get a piece of lether or thick cloth and a rubber hamer or small brass hamer. put your triger group into place puch down on it HARD with one hand while covering it with the lether (to protect the finish) and give it a verry SHARP whack! It doesnt seem like it will work but trust me it does."

"I just installed this stock to my Norinco Chinese SKS last night; it only took about 30 minutes from start to finish. Nice upgrade from the monte carlo stock I had on it before."

"OK. I've been reading all of the reviews and debating about buying this stock for quite some time, this was a great buy!!! I'm very impressed with the quality and fit of this new stock, the hand guard does need SLIGHT filling to get it to fit, and only took about 5 minutes of filling and test fitting until it fit. I read another review that said that the hand guard was loose but mine fit very tight, i tried to get it to move by force and it didn't budge. Now about the nuts and bolts... the two nuts for the stock butt don't need to be super tight, I had to tap the butt into the stock and it fit nice and tight even with out the bolts, so don't wrench them down to tight. great product!"

"Perfect. My Yugo SKS simply dropped right in. I had to drill the pin on the handguard but how else were you expecting to get that off. This stock fit perfectly and makes the sks look tacticaly superior. Tapco mags fit right in and cycle perfectly. For the price this is an excellent deal."

"First of all Kudos to CDT, they always get my stuff to me the next day!!! Second, this is a great product. OF course it is going to take some work to get it right, Took me a couple of hours, I actually had to drill out the gas tube pin, it would NOT come out. That and like everyone says, you have to take off about 1/16" off the front and the back of the gas tube cover. With a little manipulation, you can also get the trigger assembly out w/o removing the pistol grip. Also had a bit of trouble with the butt screws just barely being long enough to grab the nuts (that dont sound right LOL)If you just drill the round holes 1/8" deeper, the machine screws grab the nuts just fine, and you can crank it down pretty good without stripping the nut. I give it 5 rounds... Tapco is the shizot, and so is CTD..Thanks! My SKS looks like a modern tactical machine!!"

"I'm very satisfied with the product for the price. A nice upgrade for my Chinese Norinco. Followed the instructions in the package exactly. Took me a couple of hours at most. Toughest part was installing the handguard on the gas tube assembly. Backing out the old pin and filing down the ends of the new handguard took a while to get them right. But I encountered no unexpected results. Had a little trouble with one of the supplied nuts/bolts used to attach the adjustable stock tube to the main body. Once I removed the troubled nut and flipped it over, all was well. It's a snug fit, and looks sharp. Thanks Cheaper than Dirt and Tapco."

"This a very nice, easy to install stock. Arrived in 24 hours which was awesome. The SAW style pistol grip fits well in my hand. Had a little trouble installing the upper handguard. The screws that hold the adjustable stock weren't quite long enough and bought two more (no biggie). I love the look of the gun and paired with a 20 rd. Tapco mag it looks incredible. I'm going to the range this Friday to see how everything works together."

"Don't let the pessimists fool you, I have never done any gun mods before, and was able to apply this too my Norinco SKS. It took me about 90 mins; only because it was my first time disassembling this weapon. None of the bolts stripped on me because I was very careful tightening. This stock is not only for looks, it is fully and reliably functional."

"I am very happy with this stock. I have an older pre-ban Norinco SKS that uses AK mags. I did have to do some filing in the mag well to get the Tapco mags to enter and release with no problems. Following everybody's tips on the reviews made installation a snap. I have put about a hundred rounds through it. Recoil is straight back through the shoulder now, and a lot less muzzle climb. I love this stock. Buy it you'll like it."

"This is an easy way to mod your SKS. It takes about one hour to change stocks. Mine required a little filing on the hand guard but it was an easy install. I love my new stock. This was money well spent."

"I love this thing, My SKS has been noticed everytime I've gone to the range since I put this stock on their. It fits like a glove, and looks bada$$. No jamming, misfire, etc. since I got it, and I was getting all of that with the wooden stock on their."

"I got this stock a few months back. I love it! The rifle dropped right in, no problem. Perfect fit. A week after installing, I took it hunting for "added protection" being in mountain lion country. I went with a good friend of mine, who is a recently retired 28 year army SF. He picked it up for the first time, took aim, and shot a 4 inch spread with 20 rounds at rapid fire at a tree 50 yards away with iron sights. (Note: Not auto fire, just pulling trigger rapidly.) He was so impressed with the stock and rifle he offered me $1,000 on the spot for it. I won't cheat a friend so I declined. Dumb of me, I know. But a great stock for the money. Makes the rifle look intimidating. I did have to lightly sand the handgaurd tabs/spacers (the six tabs/spacers under on the bottom that touch the rest of the stock) a little for a better fit. They are a little high. No problem though"

"Excellent job Tapco. I bought this for my Norinco. Great drop-in installation. I had to file the spacers on the top handgaurd and stock a little. Other than that I had no problems. Absolutely worth the money. The bottom rail is very useful. I mounted a UTG 5-position grip to it. Very pleased. I use Tapco 20rnd mags and there's plenty of clearance for your hand. I'm going to mount a UTG spring-retentioned folding bipod on it soon. Hoping there'll be enough room on the rail without having to remove the vertical grip. I don't see much use for the top rail though, attachments may interfere with the iron sights. Since I will never install anything that blocks the iron sights. As always great service and shipping from CTD."

"This stock was a good buy got it fast from ctd. The only thing I see wrong is the bottom rail at the front of it is not secure. It moves a little . Will try to use some super glue to see if it fixes it."

"I purchased this stock to add some flare to my SKS. It worked! This stock makes the SKS look like it ready for the zombies. I had no trouble putting my SKS parts in it. It was a perfectly snug fit on my Yugo SKS. I would recommend this to any one who wants to turn their SKS into a mean machine."

"Purchased this stock for my Chinese SKS. Stock fit perfect and snug. No filing, hammering or drilling needed. I highly recommend this stock for anyone wanting to modernize/update from the wood stock."

"Well, I can say this high quality stock is worth every penny!! Completly tranformed the look of my Chinese Norinco SKS!! The only reason I gave it 4 bullets is cause when intsalling the reciever into the Tapco Stock, I had such a hard time putting back in the trigger assembaly. Im also going to have to remove the pistol grip everytime I want to clean it(trigger assembaly). Not a big deal at all though. The handguard/gastube was something I let my local gunsmith handle. I didn't even attempt it. Also not a big deal cause he only charged me $10. Overall, I couldn't be happier. Completely modernized my SKS and it looks amazing!! Cant go wrong with this!!"

"I received my Tapco fusion SKS replacement stock yesterday. I ordered it online on a Saturday and it was shipped in a timely manner. Assembly of the stock went awesome. I did a little filing on the gas tube assembly. That is one well designed and fabricated stock. I am really excited to take it to the rang. I look forward to my next order."

"Bought this w/20 rd Tapco mag and 500 rd Tulammo. After 500 rounds down range I can't tell ya how much I like this product. I put the stock on myself (anyone can just watch youtube) and only had to modify one part (gas tube assembly.) The adjustable butt stock w/ pistol grip is awesome."

"Bought this from CTD a while back. It was everything described. Installation was easy about 20 minutes, the only modification was some filing on the gas tube cover this was on a Norinco SKS. Has a great look to it. I have added a weaver grip with bi-pod to the fore end along with a light. The rails seem strong and able to with stand the use. Overall really happy with this purchase."

"There was some filing and fitting that had to be done, but it took maybe 20 minutes. My only complaint is not with the stock but with other items, like the Sun Optics scope mount, which will not work without doing some cutting on the stock."

"Very easy to install. Had to modify a little bit where the magazine goes because my SKS takes AK magazines. Make sure to buy a Tapco gas tube, as it just makes it easier. Another problem I ran into was the original gas piston did not fit in the new gas tube, so I had to order a new one and it works perfectly now and looks great."

"I got the stock and it looks great and feels awesome, but I've been filing for a long time and I'm still filing the damn thing. That, and I put the pistol grip on and it takes quite a bit of force to engage the safety. I like it and all, but it takes a huge amount of work to make the thing fit. I am using a handful, but that doesn't make up for the safety BS."

"This stock was cake to install. The overall fit and finish is very nice. For a drop in stock, everything was snug, no slop in it anywhere. The only real tough part was removing my old gas tube assembly. The pin on that was tough to get out but that had nothing to do with the stock. The new gas tube rail needed about one half of a swipe with a file to fit perfectly. Honestly, if you can't install this stock, you probably shouldn't be shooting guns, let alone altering them."

"It went together pretty well. I did have to file and fit a couple of things. Mostly the gas tube and hand guard. Also had to grind some to fit the detachable 20 round mag. But all and all, once I was done, it looked great."

"After carefully looking through the reviews before purchasing this stock, I was disappointed to see the negative comments. As I wanted to upgrade my SKS, I ordered the product and can only say this. I am no gunsmith but even with a little trimming (thus the 4 rating) installed the stock in 22 minutes! Perfect fit on my Norinco THANKS."

"Excellent product! Very light weight, comfortable grip, and fairly easy to install. Installing the gas tube cover was quite difficult as the pin had to be drilled out. Be ready to do some work if your gas tube pin is difficult to remove. Otherwise it's a great way to upgrade your weapon for the price."
