"I purchased one of these 20 round mags for an SKS with a Monte Carlo stock. I am very pleased with it, the magazine loads easily and functions perfectly with no alterations needed. If you are still using the wooden stock you may have to do some modification."

"I agree strongly with skidmarks. This mag feeds flawlessly. I purchased two of these 20 round mags for an SKS with a Monte Carlo stock. I am very pleased with it, the magazine loads easily and functions perfectly with no alterations needed. If you are still using the wooden stock you may have to do some modification. ****Stay away from all steel SKS magazines. I bought two 40 Rd mags and they are worthless. You can't chamber any rounds!****"

"So far, so good. I haven't put it \"through the ringer\" yet, so to speak, but so far this magazine functions flawlessly, no jams of any kind, easy enough to insert and remove. A little tricky using stripper clips (bolt has tendency to attempt closing whilst operator is still loading at times) but this might just be operator headspace and timing as well. I'm working on it. Great magazine, I'll gladly buy another."

"I have had problems with mags since I converted my SKS to a T-6 stock. With this mag, it feeds perfectly, fits perfectly and has no problems with whatever quality ammo I decide to put through it. I'm buying a few more right now!!!!!!!!!"

"I bought one of these for my sks, as I had gotten tired of all the highly touted magazines that didn't work. I even shelled out $75.00 about a year ago when I was planning to get the sks to get one of the rare Chinese 20 round fixed magazines. When I finally got my sks, I did countless hours of work on that darned thing, filing the lips and trying to smooth out every imperfection, and still couldn't get 20 off without a jam. I got this, filed the feed lips just a little bit to get it to match those of my original 10 rounder, and put 100 rounds through it on rapid fire, andnot a single jam. It even courteously held the bolt open for me every time, something that the Chinese piece of junk only did about half the time! I am getting four more and an AK bandolier this weekend. With this magazine, a Techsights TS100 aperture, TS152 target front post, $50.00 competition muzzle brake, trigger job, and shooting .5MOA at 100 meters, this SKS is now a beauty."

"These are the best mags I've been able to find for my yugo. I have not found a 30 round mag that actually functions correctly in a yugo, so I went for these. I have 8, and all of them work just fine. You can tell they are made well when you pick one up for the first time. Very sturdy. The only problem I've ever had is one of the mags was very tight when loading round number 20. I let the mag sit fully loaded for about 24 hrs. and I seemed to load better. Very nice mag."

"i purchased this mag for my yugo sks with a modified stock. it fits and feeds flawlessly with no jams. i am going to purchase a 30 round and another 20 round mag. i am very impressed with the quality and you can't beat the price. i have tried this in just about every model sks out there and have had no problems. great product, great price!"

"i just purchased 3 Tapco 20 rd clips. i am very pleased with them. they load and feed very easy. if the spring feels tight, just keep workin em in and let em set overnight. if i find any issues with them i will be sure to post again."

"These are the best after market mags out there. Great fit, high quality and great dependability."

"I bought two and I can't describe how much I love them! They work better than any detachable mag out there, don't rattle, they're sturdy, and simple look cool! I have had one or two jams, but I think it was the ammunition rather than the mag. I reckoned it to anyone and would buy more in a heart beat!"

"I had finally finished upgrades to my SKS, Maxed out every thing except for mags I spent about $400 to find a mag that finally works, I have went through mags that cost as much as $75 ran through one time and garbage the next. This one works great if it doesn't something is wrong with your rifle this mag worked great in my dads SKS as well! It is perfectly made I took it down to the river in WV ran it through about 280 rounds not a miss or jam or double feed you experience others. If you drop the mag loaded, unloaded your not screwed like with others your search is over!! RC"

"I checked out a bunch of reviws before I bought two of these magazine. I watched videos on Youtube.com and read reviw after review. I got these magazines fedex 3 to 5 day delivery today. I can't tell you how awesomethey are!!!! Other peope have complained that they had problems loading round twenty into the magazing, but I had no problems with both mags. The fit my Yugo perfectly, and the costruction is flawless. And they look cool as hell. I was going to sell my Yugo at he next gun show, but no I am keeping it. You can't go wrong with this product!!!"

"This is the best detachable mag for sks on the market. I've even found that it fits yugo's wood stocks without and changes. I shot with this baby and it performed flawlessly. all the others had better bow down and worship the king."

"I purchased a Yugo that lacked the stock 10 rounder magazine. I eventually got one... but blasting away at the dirt mound... 10 rounds wasn't enough. I did my research... these are great mags, never had a mis feed of any type.I keep the stock 10 rounder on when at home... at the ranges though I lock my tapco 20 on. I have it filed down and slightly modified to use stripper clips (takes strippers fairly well if you got a strong hand for those last 5 or so rounds).I use this with my wood stock. You have to take a good file to the inside of the stock in the mag area. You will need to take off about 1/8th an inch on each side (where the magazine is the largest) to make it fit. Oiled up the wood inside... fits like a dream 30 minutes of work. Stock 10 rounder still fits fine."

"A+++++++++BEST MAG IN THE MARKET I HAVE 3 AND THEY ALL WORK FINE ON MY YUGO SKS NO JAMS AT ALL. I HAD 30RD 40RD AND 70RD METAL MAGS AND THEY ARE ALL JUNK TAPCO IS THE WAY TO GO GOOD FINE PRODUCT THAT STANDS UP 100% A++++++++++++++"

"I bought one of these after reading all the positive reviews. Got to say it's all true. Best mag I have ever used for an SKS. Beats any metal one I have had all to heck. I currrently have a Chinese and a Yugo SKS, both with aftermarket composite stocks. The Tapco works flawlessly with both. They are suprisingly sturdy too. I just put in an order for 3 more. Get yours while you can. Works with the cheap russian ammo, which makes for a a lot of good fun shooting."

"This mag is everything I like. It just won't feed after 15 rounds. I've tested all 3 of the mags that I bought from CTD, and they all had the same problem. They just won't feed that 16th round into my Norinco SKS. I've tinkered with them a little, but nothing has given. But... good thing is, at least I have 3 dependable 15 round mags. It definitely beats having 3 duds."
2.0 5
"I recieved a no-name 40rd steel magazine when I bought my Russian SKS and it feeds flawlessly, as does the stock 5 rounder. This mag on the other hand....I have used it a total of four times now and it will stay in my range bag from now on. Fill it with 20 rounds and watch it jam! For some reason this magazine tries to feed 2 rounds at a times into my gun."
5.0 5
"All I can say is DAMN! Absolutely flawless feeding! I have wasted hundreds of dollars on metal clips that dont feed, this one acts as if it was made at the factory. Buy this one and you wont be disappointed I promise. I installed it into my Chinese model 59 w/ fiberforce dragonov stock and it operated flawlessly. All 300 rounds at the range today went BOOM! Thank you CTD and Tapco."
5.0 5
"The steel 30 round mags didn't work for sh*t in my SKS. But this one feeds flawlessly every time. Great product. Stay away from the 30 round steel mags tho."
5.0 5
"great magazine, no modifications to my yugo at all. feeds fine. ordering one more right now."

"I took the ProMag 30 rounder back to the gunshop and got this Tapco 20 rounder instead. This is a good one here. No problem."
5.0 5
"Like a lot of other reviews here I have bought 5 metal mags and have only been able to get one to work in my Yugo SKS. I didn't get the Tapco because I thought the Polymer would look cheap. I decided to try it after seeing the reviews here and a clip on youtube showing it in action. It looks great, fires flawlessly. It also seems to snap into place without having to do the three handed upside down mag install the metal mags cause. I am ordering a couple more."
5.0 5
"I was on a search for the longest time for a good magazine for my Yugo sks and here it is! I plan on buying atleast 2 more. I didn't have to modify or nothing. Fits like a glove and feeds the ammo like the 10 rd."
5.0 5
"I bought 2 of these to try. shot about 300 rounds through them and not a single problem. I will be buying alot more in the future."
1.0 5
"Bought 2 for my Norinco SKS...Spent HOURS trying to make them fit. After several hours with a die grinder they finally fit OK. Had feed problems with both, and today the top lip of the mag cracked (no grinding in this area)...Not worth the $$ but I would like to keep a bottom loading mag since I have a scope on the rifle."
5.0 5
"After purchasing this magazine and shooting 380 rounds out of it in my Yugo sks, I can't say enough about this magazine. It feeds the ammo like a champ and I plan on buying a couple more!!!!! For everyone on a search for a darn good magazine for their Yugo........Your search is over!"

"I have purchased the whole tapco polymer stock and 20rd mag for my norinco and would highly recommend the whole set to anyone looking for a great and reliable product. I have never had a better 20rd mag"
2.0 5
"Well, ordered 3 after reading about how great they are... Had to file to fit and the worst part is after last rond is ejected, the spring is not high enough or strong enough to trigger the bolt catch thus you have to hold back bolt with one hand while hitting the release AND pulling the mag out with other hand... Easier said than done. Can already see polymer starting to chip away where mag catch clicks it locking it in place. Definetly going to need the warranty! Also, I found that casings without a good smooth coat will FTF jamming sideways before chambering properly. Mostly use Brown Bear tho and that feeds well. 2 because it fits.... but has it's own set of problems."
5.0 5
"Simply awesome. Tried other metal clips for my Norinco SKS and this is the only one that fits perfectly. Ive shot two full clips with speed and its still on. Hard composite plastic. Great deal."
5.0 5
"I purchased this mag. a couple weeks ago and it works perfectly on my yugo sks. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has a yugo sks, don't know how they fit on the other models but will do fine on the Yugo's."
5.0 5
"As anyone with an SKS that takes external mags knows, most of them are absolute crap. After reading the good reviews for this mag, I bought one of these to test. At the same time I added a Choate Dragunov stock to my Russian SKS, and this mag fits into it PERFECTLY (incidentally, it also fit into the wooden stock without modification, but not as beautiful a fit as with the synthetic). I loaded and speed fired all the rounds in the mag as quickly as I could three times, and had no problems at all. This is all with Wolf ammo.Only problem I had was that since the spring was so tight I could only fit 19 rounds into the mag, but perhaps it will loosen a bit in time.I'm going to buy 3 or 4 more of these mags this week. Good buy."

"These magazines work great! I use one in my YUGO SKS, and have had no problems yet! I also tried one in my buddies Chinese SKS(No problems either) These are VERY-High quality magazines. I have NEVER had any problems with steels SKS mags, But these are still the best! Tapco needs to make a 30 ROUND magazine like this!"

"Haven't shot with it yet but I filled and emptied the clip just sliding the action and it works great after i shaved a little off of the each side of the hood. Also took a little bit of shaving on the corners. All in all good mag. Looks AWESOME with my new TAPCO stock."

"I got to admit, I was very leery of purchasing a detachable mag for my Nornico SKS. I have heard so many rumors of this being a fantasy for SKS owners. After receiving my mags I am impressed! I looked at probably 50 different magazines and settled on the TAPCO after reading the reviews. Most reviews for the other magazines were complaints of people having to smith and modify to an extreme just for unreliable performance. I am not particularly scared of this as I am a maintenance mechanic, but I prefer for things to be right rather than rigged. My SKS had a built in 10 rd magazine. It was easy enough to remove. If you properly clean your gun then you have removed it already. That was it. The mag slid right into place like it belonged there. After loading the mag (which I havent done since my military days) I then reinserted it and checked the action. I will say that if your the type of person that slides the carrier forward slowly it will jam. If you just release it there will be no issues and the action will be smooth. After firing it on the range I found the bolt does lock back after the last round and I have had no issues with jamming. No worries of holding the carrier back and trying to detach the mag. I will say that this is the best investment I have made for my SKS. Coupled with my Dragunov stock and scope it also gives the look of a real tactical rifle that the SKS is. If you have a Nornico with an internal mag give it a shot. I promise the fit will be great and you will be just as happy as I am."

"HAVE BEEDN USING TWO OF THESE MAGS FOR NINE MONTHS.PROBABLY FIRED OVER 1000 ROUNDS WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS.MATTER OF FACT I JUST ORDERED ANOTHER ONE."
5.0 5
"I purchased several of these mags a few months ago for my Yugo SKS. After spending some hard earned money on the SKS steel mags and receiving extremely poor performance, I was very pleased with the polymer mags! No feed issues, easy to maintain and definately \"heftier\" than their competition. My only wish is that they'd make this magazine in 30 and 40 rnd capacity....and possibly a 90-100 rnd drum. I endorse this item and will be purchasing more very soon."
5.0 5
"Fit my Yugo SKS perfectly. Works perfectly. Could not be happier."
5.0 5
"I had 4 steel sks mags before, and all have its own feeding problem. After reading so much good reviews about Tapco mags, I decided to order 4 for my Norinco and Yugo. I never had any problem with any. The bolt will lock back after the last round on all of them. I Highly recommend this SKS Mags."
4.0 5
"Just put the first 100 rounds through it. I had one feeding error where the the bolt tried to feed 2 rounds. Performed flawlessly after about 10 rounds though. I will purchase another before the Democrats can stop me. Great product Tapco, keep up the quality."
5.0 5
"I have bought 3 of these from CTD, and all are perfect. they feed just fine, have thought about getting some of the other mags, but the reviews don't seem too promising. I just hope that tapco decides to make higher capacity mags with this type of quality."
5.0 5
"Very good mag. Fit my Yugo SKS with no problems. Well worth the money. Already put a thousand rounds through it using 2 tapco mags and not even one problem!!! Just wish Tapco made them in 30 and 40 round capacity. A must have!!"
4.0 5
"I just got one of these magazines and it only took maybe 25 min to modify my Chinese SKS for this to fit. I put the first 40 rounds through it with absolutely no problems what so ever. It\uFFFDs great. I will be getting me another one soon."
5.0 5
"i got this magazine for my Yugo SKS the other day and it took less than 25 second to replace the stock one.o boy it a steal for the money good fit and feel great. i can not say anything else but perfect.!!!!"

"Nice mag I have had no problems with it so far."
3.0 5
"read alot of good stuff about this mag so i bought one to try and it worked 100% better than any other detachable mag i have used but it still jammed a few rounds every time i used it.shot 100 rounds through it and the only thing that actually works 100% is the fixed mag it came with =("
5.0 5
"took it out of the box loaded smooth fit perfect emptied twenty no problems here great deal now i just have to find clip pouches that fit the duck bill"
5.0 5
"The first time i used it, I loaded a full 20 rounds into it. Every other round spit too far up and got caught by the action.A month later my brother used it and it performed flawlessly. Its an exceptional magazine, just got to break it in."
4.0 5
"I think we all know that if sks mags are on the list, then this is the one you want. The diminished capacity of 20 rounds was a bit of a problem for me. however, the ease of use and reliability of these mags are terrific. tappered catch easily allows you to insert the mag without slapping it into place, holds bolt back on last round, and is heavy enough to drop from your weapon under its own weight. i suggest an extended catch. you wont be sorry. There is however a couple of small draw backs to using this mag. other mags such as my USA mags accept strippers with no problem at all. but Tapco mag is going to need you to notch the rear with a file or dremel to accept the stripper and align it properly. otherwise you end up jamming your load around 2-3 to last round on clip. also, by no fault of tapco, its difficult to find proper pouches or rigs for duckbill mags. grab a couple of dump pouches and attach to your molle rig."
5.0 5
"I have bought 3 already. I've had no problem out of them. Shot at least 4oo rounds through each of them. I will buy more, and tell everyone to buy Tapco products!!"
5.0 5
"let me say first of all, if you don't have a yogo, your sks sux and you need to get one, this mag is by far the best on the market. I have 10 of them and i have no problems. NONE. If you notice the people writing bad reviews about this mag it's because of the norinco or the russian junk their tring to put the mag in. BEST SKS MAG EVER"
5.0 5
"Bought my SKS and thought that I had made a huge mistake. Metal clip that came with it would not feed or would jam. Bought 2 of these clips and WOW what a difference. Just went to the range today and went through 100 rounds each with no problems. scope kit is also a great buy for the sks with a little filing necessary."
5.0 5
"These are by far the best mags I've ever had. Ran 300 rounds through my Norinco with them today and NOT A SINGLE JAM!!!! Fit well without any modifications to the Fiberforce Dragunov stock. They are about half the price of the crappy steel 30 rounders at the gun shop too. Thumbs up Tapco, buying two more right now."
5.0 5
"Well I bought 2 of these mags to test out for my Yugo SKS, my SKS came with a steel 35 round pile of crap that only worked as long as you didn't put more then 7 rounds in it so I wasn't about to buy another steel clip. After putting about 500 flawless rounds threw the tapco clips I decided to order 4 more of these babys. Awsome and worth every cent"
5.0 5
"This is by far the best clip you can buy for your SKS. I own a Russian and a Yugo SKS. They work ok in the wood stocks - some jamming - but once I replaced the stocks with the ATI folder and the Fiberforce, they havn't had an issue. After the mag is empty the bolt stays open - Awesome!!!! You can change the clip out all easy, no need to have 3 hands - Hahaha. Buy them up!!!"
4.0 5
"great mag. using a 80 grit flap wheel on the end of my drill.I was able to sand down the sides to fit in the org. stock onmy china SKS. Feeds great! front mag catch, locates perfectly.rear mag. catchs good and soild."
5.0 5
"With 1-2 minutes of investigation and filing, the clip fit like a glove. Tight, no shaking or rattling. The clip catch works like a dream. Fired 80 rounds right after installation, not one jam! It also works on my friends Yugo, which has major problems cycling any crappy metal clips (which bend like a matchbox)The ONLY clip you will want to buy if you are actually going to shoot your SKS. Also, a 20 rnd clip is much more lo-profile than a 30, making prone shots much easier, especially using the bayonet as a monopod. Will still load using conventional strippers if you only want to buy one."
5.0 5
"Firstly, I've read a lot of mistakes in the previous reviews. These are magazines - NOT CLIPS. Clips feed magazines, magazines feed rifles. But anyway, nothing much to say here. Installed easily into my monte carlo synthetic stock. Feeds great. Durable. Good stuff!"
5.0 5
"My fellow sks shooters, let me tell you I have tried and used every type, brand, and manufacturer of sks mags. There simply is not a better mag available than the tapco 20 mag.I have put over a 1000 rds. thru with no tweaking ,adjusting or tooling. When you need to depend on your weapon to operate and function properly the last thing in the world you want is a jammed weapon.USELESS!Feel confident with these mags for superior performance!"
3.0 5
"I have two yugo sks's. After the last round is fired the bolt does not stay open, making a quick change to another magazine time consuming."
5.0 5
"These are by far the best extended magazines I've ever used for an SKS. I have a Russian SKS 45 with an ultralight folding stock, and the two 20 round tapco magazines I've bought fit perfectly. I've shot well over 300 rounds through each of them and haven't had a single feeding problem or a stove pipe, and the magazines are still as durable as they were when I bought them. As a test, I also put one in my Dad's Yugoslavian SKS with a dragunov stock, and it fit perfectly and had no feeding problems. Add to the fact that the magazine will actually hold the bolt open after the last round, is easilly detacheable, and you can load it with stripper clips with a bit of practice, and you won't find a better extended magazine for the SKS. After spending near 200 dollars on extended magazines with none of them working reliably it was amazing to find one that actually works as well as this one."
5.0 5
"As good as everyone says it is. Fits perfect, feeds great. I will be buying another just as a back up."
5.0 5
"Bought this mag for my Norinco SKS. It fit better than any other mag I have tried. Shot 100 rounds the first time at the range without any problems. Bolt stays open after last round just like it is supposed to. This is a great magazine for the SKS rifle."
4.0 5
"this magazine is the best one out there for the sks there is only one small problem with it you only can put like 15 rounds in it if you put all 20 rounds in it. it will jam but if you put 15 rounds it wont jam but over all its a really good magazine"
5.0 5
"I got 5 of these about a month ago, I've put about 1000 rounds through them and they work great in my yugo sks. not a problem yet."
4.0 5
"I have shot about 100 rounds thru this mag. No jamming, every one loaded smoothly. I have a yugo sks. The metal 30 round that came with it sucked. Screwed up after every other round. This 20 round works great. Going to buy at least 3 more. Didn't have to make any adjustments. Just loaded it in, and started firing. I had forgotten how nice these guns fired. I hadn't fired one since 1970, back in 'Nam. Magazine is definiely worth the money."
5.0 5
"Bought this to upgrade my Chinese Norinco, along with a T6 Stock, both worked great. If using with the wood stock you might have to file the wood down a little, but well worth it!"
5.0 5
"I have put about 1000 rounds through one of these in the last 3 months, and it has worked like a charm every time. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another."
4.0 5
"Bought (2) of these mags a few months ago. I have a chinese carbine SKS and it was almost like the mags had to be broken in. I could only fire (1) or (2) shots before a jamb would happen. I did this for (2) 20 round full loads for each magazine and after that they worked flawlessly. Weird. Would recommend to others!"
4.0 5
"I bought my chinese sks for a varmit gun because it was cheap and nearly indestuctible as well as resonably accurate. It's not a pampered gun, and these magazines work well with it. A little dust and dirt doesn't seem to bother them and I haven't broken one yet. What's not to like?"
4.0 5
"Not a bad mag, have some problems feeding the rounds at times on my yugo. Just a note if any of you were curious you cannot use stripper clips to top feed it like you could with the internal mag either. It fits nicely on the synthetic tapco stock set, but the wood would require some slight modifications. All in all, not bad."
5.0 5
"There are many \"wanna be\" high capacity clips out there for the SKS. This is by far the most rugged and best built clip that fits perfectly with the Tapco collapsible stock. I have a Norinco that is in a Tapco collabsible and the clip is perfect. Just a side note, and the clip does state this on the packaging, but the bolt does have to be open to remove and replace the clip.Join the NRA to help protect your 2nd amendment rights."
5.0 5
"i recently purchased 8 metal 30 rd ones and 2 worked great, the rest was constant jams. finally listen to some friends and reviews, bought the tapco 20rd and know i have eight of them and have put about 75 rounds through all and so far no jams spend the money on a mag thats reliable than the cheap one."
5.0 5
"Great mags. Jammed on first shot but never again. I fired 100's of rounds out of it. I liked it so much I bought 3 more. I love this clip."
5.0 5
"Great clip!! Loads super easy, durable, light, and looks great. Fit my STK660167 SKS stock like a glove. Don't waste $$ on the 30 rnd metal crap. Will be buying more next commission check!"
3.0 5
"Great mags, but I have to nock it down a peg from all these other reviews. The mags will not fire HOLLOW POINT AMMO. All you WOLF Military Classic lovers, you will not be able to fire you hollow point ammo out of these mags. No problems what so ever with FMJ ammo. Try it and you will see."
4.0 5
"Mine is a Chinese rifle. Tried a metal 30 round {from CTD} and had to return it. Tried this one and thought I had that same scenero. First full 20 rounds loaded and it jammmed about every 3 shots. Loaded the second and it got a bit better {only jammed 3 times}. Third time was a charm. Fired fine, no jams. Guess it just needed to get the \"new\" smell off. I would recommend!!"
5.0 5
"I've owned one of these now for about a year and it has seen about 1,500 rds. I have had NO jams or feeding problems...and to the earlier review about HP's...this icludes Wolf MC HPs. I use Wolf MC FMJ and HP and Brown Bear FMJ, some Mil-Surp steel core, and some Wolf Polyformance HP. Never jammed on me using hollow points, and my magazine fits a little loose in the wood stock from the previous owner opening it up a little too much. A+ magazine IMO."
5.0 5
"I just got back from the range and these mags are GREAT. I ordered two of these and put 500 rounds through the two, they were a little stiff and first but it was cold. As for jaming not once.I did notice someone said that they do not work with hollow points but all 500 rounds today were Brown Bear 123 Grain hollow points and worked great through my rifle. I will be buying more of these great magazines. Just one more great item from Tapco"
5.0 5
"I bought 3 of these and they all work great, mine were a bit tight trying to get all 20 rounds in them but now I have 0 problems."
5.0 5
"I have tried lots of different aftermarket SKS mags with no luck. I had accepted that it would just have a stock clip. I took a chance and tried one of these... It works great!!! as good as the factory mag. The wood stock took some filing to have enough room. Feeds good, locks back. A+"

"I bought 2 of these for my sks , they function well except for a few jams when i first used them .tough body as well"

"I bought three of these with my TAPCO Fusion stock and bipods. These are truly great mags. Only had two minor feeding errors at first. As others have hinted I think they just have to like, settle into the gun. Work great now."

"I bought this mag after trying a metal 30rd mag from a local gun shop. the reviews that had been written proved to be true. the mag fit perfect in both my woo stock and the tapco t6 stock. I shot 40 rds out of it today and had no jams. the first 20 i shot just as fast as I possibly could and the second a shot slowly and had absolutely no problems with. I love this mag just wish I had bought more while they were available."

"AT first this clip didnt do so hott jamming the first couple of shots and then I broke it in and it did great....I have prolly run a couple hundred shots through it and its still Working great!!! The only reason i didnt give it the full 5 bullets is because its plastic but its whatever it works!!!"

"This is a great little mag for the price. I broke my normal habit of only buying steel mags to try this polymer one. It fits very nice with the Monte Carlo stock that I have. The spring did need to be broken in a little, but that's to be expected with almost any new mag. I just loaded it, then put it in the riffle and cycled it threw the action manually a few times, it solved that problem really fast. And that way there's no disappointment at the range when you jam because of an \"unbroken\" spring."

"Absolutely awesome magazine. I had heard the horror stories of detachable mags until I tried this one-now I have four of them!"
5.0 5
"Got 3 of these and used them on a Norinco with the Tapco glass filled nylon stock. No problems at all."

"Junk! This was not drop in. I have a standard Russian SKS and it didn't fit at all. In past have been able to get metal ones to fit. Bummer. And the reviews are what sold me."
5.0 5
"I own 4 of these mags and would reccommend to anyone. There is a short break in period and then u will have not one problem. Tapco has made it fun again to own an sks."
4.0 5
"I purchased 2 of these mags when I bought the new stock and scope for my Zastava. I have had zero problems with the mags. I had to hold my tongue just right to load them with the stripper clips, but everytime I pulled the trigger I got my bang. That's what counts. They seem to be durable enough for the long haul, but only time will tell. They're well worth the money."
5.0 5
"Best sks mag you can buy. It is even better than the tapco Ak47 mags. Seems to be the same spring in both, so with it only being 20 rounds it works good. Fits yugos, and chinese perfectly."
5.0 5
"this clip is the best sks clip i have ever loaded!it is hevy duty for the job! i have other clips but they wigle in the gun, do not load easy, and are not heavyduty like this one!!!"

"The best sks mag on the market. I have several and have never had a problem."

"I have purchased other SKS magazines and these are by far the best that I have for my yugo SKS . I havent had any problems with the 2 that I ordered and CTD was very fast on shipping them to me."
5.0 5
"I have tried 3 different mags for my Yugo M59/66 sks. This is the only mag I have found that fits perfectly WITHOUT any modifications whatsoever. In fact, it's the only mag I have tried that works at all. Highest quality and perfect performance."

"Decided to clean out the closet and low and behold found me an old sks. Cousins told me it was a piece of junk, fidgeted and cleaned it up a bit, bought a new scope and cheek rest and a couple of these Tapco 20 Rounders. It went from an old dirty hunk of junk jamming up with the stock metal magazine to a darned good sniper rifle. I highly recommend these magazines!"
4.0 5
"good mags, ordered 3 and all fired good, snug at first in a chinese sk but broke in well."
5.0 5
"I now own 5 of these magazine and they work flawless. 20 seems to be the magic number with out jamming when it comes to sks magazines. These load easy and feed flawlessly. I highly recommend."

"I was about to give up on my sks and sell it , I have tried several metal clips that just would not work at all, and was reluctant to buy a plastic one until I read the reviews and decided to try it got it today and it works flawlessly. thanks Tapco for a great product and thanks cheaper than dirt for a quick delivery."
4.0 5
"Bought two of these and think they are a great buy and plan on purchasing more before the price goes up too much. Shipping was fast and reasonable. Thanks CTD for a great catalog of cool stuff."
5.0 5
"Great magazine for SKSs. I bought 2 of these & have fired 100 rounds out of each. In 200 rounds, I had 1 round stovepipe. Rest fed flawlessly. In my opinion, this is perfection in my Norinco. In contrast, the steel mags I've tried (4 types) stovepipe every 5th round & it seems to be normal for steel mags to miss the feed ramp & cram the bullet-tip against the bottom edge of the barrel, compressing the bullet into the casing."

"this mag is great fit. sets in weapon great will buy another maybe more"
4.0 5
"At first was disapointed, I never had a mag that had a \"break in\" period. but after a few loads the break in period was over and I have not had one problem with the mags since...I have never found a metal mag that worked as good as these do."
4.0 5
"This mag works great in my Norinco, but will not fit my Russian (Russian is in a T6 stock). Actually looks really good even with a wooden stock."
5.0 5
"I bought one of these tapco mags for my russian sks. had to do a little sanding and filing to the wood stock so the mag fits right. These mags work wonderfully and now my father wants a few too. I plan on buying many more. They work better than any other detachable mag Ive ever had."
5.0 5
"i bought 2 of these. they worked great. There was no jamming nor heaitations i recomend this to any one who wants a trouble free day of shooting"

"Dropped my Russian SKS into a Tapco T6 and got a couple of these. Had 3 stovepipes on the first day of shooting(with some Czech wax-coated steel case junk), but they've been fantastic ever since."

"i bought one since the reviews were so good. put around 6 boxes through it with no probs...i mean no probs! had to buy another. like i said...great mags! thanks tapco."

"Works great!! Will be getting a few hundred of these!!Thanks!!"

"Bought one of these since all the reviews were so good... and you guys aren't lying !! There is now way I can go back to the metal mag after using this Tapco mag. I plan on getting at least one more of these and getting rid of all my old mags. If you're looking for a GREAT, RELIABLE magazine.. buy this one !! Now I need to hit the internet and see what else Tapco has for me."
5.0 5
"I purchased a new 40 year old SKS and from day on it did not like to feed from the left side of the magazine. About every 3-4 rounds it would jam with the bullet missing the barrel and suck in the left corner. Some even pushed the bullet into the case. Not good. Put one of these 20 round magazines in and magic problem solved and the gun shoots great now. I will be buying more for sure. Had to do some trimming of the wood stock to allow it to fit."
5.0 5
"Fits just fine in my Yugo. No Jams. Feeds Every time. and it DOES hold the bolt open after the last round. Im going to buy more of these."
1.0 5
"I have five of these to go with my Norinco / Tapco T6 gun. They do not reliably lift the rounds fast enough to feed.Problem seems much worse when it is very cold out, but they have just never been reliable in my otherwise very reliable gun.Oh well. - JM."
5.0 5
"Bought 3 of these based on the reviews and I don't regret it. Best magazines period. None have ever jammed on me and they fit right into my stock perfectly. Best deal on here."
5.0 5
"I bought three of these for my Chinese/Tapco SKS. They are pretty easy to load, although through the loading process they can let bullets slip right out. But once fully loaded, the rounds are secure. They are light weight, sturdy and seem to work well after shooting them empty. Overall, excellent magazines."
5.0 5
"Bought one, had to modify my Yugo to fit, never jammed, tested in Russian model w/sync stock, worked great, never jammed. I'm buying more!"
5.0 5
"Ordered one, and it worked great. Ordering another one now, and another one when I have more money. Enough said."
5.0 5
"This is a wonderful product! Fit my yugo sks with my t6 composite tapco stock perfectly. And to top it off, it holds the bolt back after the last round is ejected. You cant get that with other duck-billed sks magazines! Plan to purchase more!"
5.0 5
"Ordered this mag with a hope and a prayer. Haven't had much luck with removable mags for the SKS. I have a Norinco in a Tapco stock and the mag worked perfectly. It attached and removed easily and fed with no problem whatsoever. Great to find a vendor who sells primo gear and ships quickly. Thanks."
5.0 5
"It's not like that stamped metal piece of junk, this fit the first time i put it in !!! and works great in my type-56 sks!!!!"
4.0 5
"I recently bought 2 of these based on reviews. Installation was far from a snap because I have a wooden stock--as mentioned in the description, you need to modify wooden stocks quite a bit for these to fit. While this isn't a big deal, it's a bit of a pain in the butt and requires a lot more than a bit of sanding--I took out up to 1/8\" off either side of the area the magazine seats in. The springs are also quite stiff when you first get these. I suggest doing what I did, cram the full 20 rounds in it (if you can) and let the springs rest overnight. They should be much easier to load afterward!"
5.0 5
"I purchased 6 of these, all worked great in my chinese SKS with Tapco T-6 stock. I've tryed many other brands with poor success. Don't throw your money away on any other brand of high capacity mags.Cheaper than Dirt has great service, an shipping was very fast.THX! Cheaper Than Dirt!!!"
5.0 5
"I have tried many magazines for my Norinco SKS, most fit loosely, or the springs were just too sloppy to ensure reliability. I was getting very frustrated till I read the reviews on this product and decided to give it a try. I purchased two and they fit perfectly snug in the Tapco T6 stock. 200 rounds without a jam is by far the best results I've gotten from any mag. Don't waste your money on any others. How many times are you really going to need 30 rounds instead of 20 anyway?"
5.0 5
"I have been trying every mag under the sun for my norinco sks this is the only mag that works. all the different types of metal mags suck, havent tryed the tapco 30 rd yet, but these 20 rounders really work perfectly, i have personaly put 500 rds through one of mine before i went ahead and bought more, i never had one malfinction, not one. these are the way to go, i was afraid the platic would be flimsy or loose in my weapon, not so, the plastic is surprizingly tough and durable and fits like a glove. i highly recomend buying these and not wasting money on anything else."
5.0 5
"This magazine is great, works wonderful. No jams what so ever. Works ten times better any of my metal mags. And, for me, it is so easy to load, even my girl can load it, even up to the last bullet. Plus it holds 21 rounds, not 20! I have a Russian Tula 1954 SKS, it works great with the orginal stock and parts and add on stocks or accessories. I am going to buy a bunch more!"
5.0 5
"After reading the reviews I ordered two for my 1950 russian sks. I did have to round off the two front corners of the mags to fit.(no suprise I had to do it with every one I have used steel or plastic) I let both mags sit for a day or two loaded before using them. I shot 300 rnds with them with only one jam on the first mag, but then worked perfect."

"This magazine was the first thing I ever bought from this site. I saw that there were over a hundred good reviews for the magazine but I was still a little worried. I wasn't even sure exactly what kind of SKS I had, so I was worried it might not fit well. When it arrived to my house, it snapped right in for a nice tight fit. This magazine is awesome, no B.S.! I can't believe it was this price. I've seen the same one on other sites for much more. It only took about three days to get to my house, and they even give you a tracking number on your email receipt so you can follow it in the mail. I am going to buy 2 more of these so I have one in each color and I\uFFFDm going to get another black one because it looks sweet! I also picked up the AK 47 cleaning kit which is also awesome and fits my SKS perfectly."

"You know, I usually despise polymer magazines with all my inner soul. However this one surprised the hell out of me. Fits my Yugo SKS like a glove with no modifications needed. Gonna have to buy more of these."
5.0 5
"The metal magazine I got when I purchased the sks was horrible. I ordered the Tapco magazine and I am extremely satisfied. I will be buying more"
5.0 5
"I have a norinco sks with a folding stock and these mags work so well, I have not had one jam what so ever I own 9 of these magazines and all have been flawless. The only problem I have is that Tapco needs to make these in 30 and 40 round mags. I love the way they fit and function! I give them (tapco) 2 thumbs up! Please make these in higher capicity!!!!!!!"
5.0 5
"I was not sure to get a plastic magazine for my SKS but after reading all the reviews i bought one for the price. I figured that if it doesn't work, oh well its a few bucks. But i was blown away at how reliable and simple it is. I got my 1st one and fired about 75rd through it without any problem. Soon as i got home i bought another one and in the past few months fired hundreds of rounds though each magazine without a hitch up. By far the best bang for your dollar and will blow any other SKS magazine in your search out of the water."

"I ordered two Tapco 20 rounders a few days ago and they arrived today. They are well made, the springs are tight but not too tight (perfect) and they came to me exactly as described and quickly. They fit perfectly in my Norinco SKS, (I modified the magazine well just a bit when I bought it a few years ago.) Mine was an excellent experience. 5 bullets."
5.0 5
"just received my tapco 20 rnd mag today, great product, and quick change out, i just figured since i have the tapco t6 stock that i would give it a try, haven't been to the range with it yet though, but from reading must of the reveiws, it should work flawlesly, so much better than the 10 rnd stocker, and adds a bit of intemidation to the rifle"
5.0 5
"Wow, Love these mags, no fitting required on my Norinco..., all worked perfectly."
5.0 5
"This magazine works very well. I originally bought a 30 rd. steel magazine and it failed horribly. It was hard to load, didn't feed properly and the fit was less than desirable. These mags are durable, easy to load and fit well with my chinese SKS with Tapco stock. The price is great too. I'm gonna buy quite a few of these."
1.0 5
"I bought 2 of these based on all the great reviews. I took them out to test. My weapon has been reliable to this point, but with these clips there was constant jamming. The bullets just wouldnt feed. Both clips equally bad.(I tried everything) The best I got was 2 rounds in succession, then back to another jam. I just got ripped off here. Whats with all the great reviews?"
4.0 5
"Purchased one of these and did a test run for feed. Anything coming from the right side fed fine, left side got stuck every time on my yugo SKS using T-6 stock. Luckily since it's polymer (plastic) I had no trouble filing the left side into a rounded edge, and it feeds great now. I would give it 5 stars for use if it wasn't for having to mod it, but considering it took 30 seconds and the file on my leatherman to do it, I still say it's well worth it!"
5.0 5
"This is the first clip that fit and worked well in my SKS."
5.0 5
"I purchased 3 of these mags from CTD and was amazed by them, they fed just fine, they fit perfectly in my friends SKS with a synthetic stock, i had to do a little sanding on my wooden stock (not looking for collecting value, just a shooter)and it fits fine now, if not a little tight, i am going to bevel the mag well so it slides in easier and faster. there is a little plastic that gets chewed up by the reciever at first, but they fit and fire everytime, will be ordering more soon"

"Short read: If you get a new stock (like the Fusion/T6) get this too! It worked well for me and my Norinco SKS with Tapco Fusion stock.I have to say I was sceptical about a poly mag for an sks. So, I ordered one. It was very stiff at first and not feeding properly, but after stuffing and unstuffing it with 20 rounds a few times, I found that it holds and cycles 18 rounds perfectly. Sometimes I got all 20 cycle, but I just load 18 now, it's better than the original 10! I do like the detachable mag over using the fixed mag with stripper clips, increased capacity is great, too. With ordering just one, I have to say its a good product, not great, but worth the money. I will get more...CTD was fast with shipping and service was great. Thanks CTD!"

"If you purchase one of these, be aware of this issue ahead of time. There is a great chance that you'll need to file a rounded edge on one side of the mag where it locks in the round. Test out the mag by cycling the bolt and you will see where the usual hangup will occur. Simply file off the edge where the round will get stuck, and this mag will work with no problems. I do notice that if I go over 16 rounds, I sometimes have feed issues, but if loaded no more than 15 at a time it's good to go. You can tell when you hit the point because you'll feel and hear the spring click in. Two of these mags I have do the exact same thing. If you don't mind this, they are great detachable mags to stock up on."
5.0 5
"I read the reviews on a lot of different clips and this seemed to be the best. Bought one with the Tapco stock (awesome stock by the way) I have a Russian made SKS and this mag fits perfect, unloads perfect, and locks the bolt when empty. I plan to buy more. ...Hey Tapco make a thirty round clip already..... 30 rounds is the only reason others are trying those cheap metal ones!!!!"
1.0 5
"I got one of these along with a tapco stock, love the stock hate the mag! It sat to low in my norinco and the would never pick up a single round. Tried the mag in a few other sks's at my local gun store and all looked like the same problem was occuring. I had to modify the mag by building up the ledge that the mag release catched. I used lock tights version of mighty putty to do the trick. I works better now but still jams now and then."
5.0 5
"There was a time when detachable magazines for the SKS was a fool's errand. That time is over."
5.0 5
"These are the best magazines for your YUGO sks. I have 2 Yugos, and these never miss a beat!"
5.0 5
"After reading the reviews, I must agree this is the mag to buy. I bought a SKS that came with the 30 round Pro Mag, and the thing wouldnt work if you put more than 10 rounds in it. Bought one of these Tapco mags, and it functions perfect. Going to buy at least 2 more."
5.0 5
"This mag locked in tight. Fed rounds with very little adjusting. Seems to be very sturdy, and come on . . . Looks BAD@$$! Thanks TAPCO, now as many of my predecessors have suggested 30 and 40 round it up!"
5.0 5
"This is a great mag. At first I had some feed problems. A friend who had the same magazines said to manually load and unload it several times and store it with 20 rounds in it to break in the spring. Then it will hold 20 rounds and feed fine. After that, my tapco mags work fine and load all 20 rounds without any problems."
5.0 5
"I've read ALL the reviews, and without a doubt these ARE the best mags for the SKS! After fightin with the steel mags, I got fed up and wanted something totally reliable. These are the way to go. I bought two of them to test them out and I couldn't be more pleased. I've talked with some members of the SKS discussions boards, and all of them praise the Tapco mags.I have to completely agree with them 100 percent!!I was amazed at what a difference these mags made! They fit perfectly and fed like a CHAMP!!! I will definitely be buying more!! Thanks CTD for quick delivery and quality products, and also thanks to the fellas at the SKS Survivors boards!! Keep Shooting!"

"Worked GREAT. I got these for my Yugo 59/66 and have had NO feeding problems. I did need to fit it to the wood stock, as it says. This was very easy and I had it done in about 5 min with a dremal drill. I will buy more!"
5.0 5
"I have a yugo with factory stock and later Tapco stock. All three mags work flawlessly."
5.0 5
"I own one of these right now along with a few other detachable and non-detachable clips for my sks and this is by far the best one. So far in the time that I have owned it along with my Tapco T-6 stock... I have had ZERO malfunctions of any kind. I mean none whatsoever. And I'm not just a range rat, since the addition of these two components my rifle has been dropped on concrete, dunked in the creek, laid out in ridiculously high and low temperatures, suffered through typical alabama humidity in the summer, been bashed against the ground, beaten against heavy bags, used as a workout tool, and more... it still fires perfect, no jams, no misfeeds, not a thing. And I'm still just as accurate. The clip has been phenomenal and I intend on getting plenty more for my rifle."
5.0 5
"I tried all the other mags that you can get for the sks and this one is far the best, note that you have to shoot a few rounds through in order to get past the fact that plastic has a friction factor more than steel does but don't worry about that because cycling rounds eases that problem and then it's smooth sailing. Also remember to follow all the instructions on how you should attach or dis attach because plastic does break eventually........BUT THAT IS WHY TAPCO OFFERS THIS WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY so you really can't beat this deal. The steel mags really aren't designed right anyway."
4.0 5
"This is a mixed review. Tight fit, rugged, metal protective plate on bottom, locks the bolt open after last round. Lifetime warranty. I bought 5 of these to cure my feed problems with my metal magazines. I cycled the feed spring on each mag numerous times to break it in. Three of the mags broke in fine and work flawlessly. The other two would hang up ocassionaly when compressing/decompressing the feed spring. This may cause a feed problem later so I requested Tapco to send me two replacements. They honored their warranty and even paid for return shipping. These mags work much better than the metal ones that I had been using. My feed problems have been cured. I highly recommend that you purchase this product."

"Bought one of these mags, took it to the range... tested it out! Perfect in every way! No problems what so ever. I bought 9 more since then, and plan on buying many more!Si vis pacem, Para bellum"

"This mag has solved all problems that I've had with other high cap mags. Put 500 rounds through my norinco and 350 rounds through my Yugo, no jams and no problems at all. They fit perfectly snug into the mag well on both rifles, no filing was required. Recommend this awesome product to anyone looking for a great buy. Currently own 8 of these babies."
5.0 5
"I own a russian, yugo and two chinese SKS, and these are the only mags out there that work flawlessly in ALL OF THEM. have heard that some of them need a break in period, but with mine, I just loaded the mags the night before I went to the range to test them out and let them sit overnight. not one jam ever from any of them and I've put some of these through more than 500 rounds of abuse, including hot summers, brutally cold north nevada winters. Dust gets thick out here, and never jammed them. they function better than most plastics at 20 below zero, where even metal mags in an ak will fail. this product, combined with the tapco T6 stock will transform a fairly clunky military classic into a rugged performer that will withstand and outlast any use or abuse you throw at it. thanks tapco, for letting the sks fill its true potential"
5.0 5
"This works very well with my Yugo SKS 59/66. You can modify the top of the mag a little and it will accept stripper clips as well. Very happy with this purchase."

"good mag for my 59/66, ran hundreds of rounds thru it without a single malfunction, im generally weary of polymer but the reviews talked me into it and i was happily suprised"

"Awsome mag, never fails."

"Well over the years I have tried them all..metal ones..polymer ones..20 rd.,30rd.,you name it..I have filed and cut and bent to get others to work..They are all junk. Tapco finally figured it out. I have 6 of these and are flawless in my Yugo and Norinco SKS..My hats off to Tapco!"

"I bought 3 30 round metal mags from a gun show...1 of them didn't fit and was easily damaged...the other 2 fit but barely...the springs in them where crap, one of the 2 - the spring popped out on its own, the last one...I dropped it on the floor and the spring popped out, also when I would be shooting my SKS, the spring would shoot my bullets out too fast and jam my weapon...I bought 1 20round Tapco mag and it was insanely different and WAY better...better grip, fit in the gun 10x better and feeds 100% better...Tapco is awesome, dont waste your money at gun shows for mags, they sell you crap. My bullets also don't move around in my Tapco mag but the metal crap would clunk all over the place"

"After doing some extensive research, I decided to go ahead and order these Tapco 20 rounders since a vast majority of reviews claim them to be a good product. I went ahead and ordered 3 of them, used one yesterday at the firing range for the first time while I let the spring break in by letting them sit for about a month with bullets. The first 20 shots I took, the gun didn't jam at all with these HP bullets I got from a gun show (don't know the brand). However though, I started using Wolf Classic HP ammunition and every 7th shot the gun would jam and it jammed every time using the Wolf Classic ammunition. Over all not a bad product but it depends on what bullets you use. I'm going to try out the other 2 magazines after they are done with there break in period w/ different ammunition, hope to see no jams this time."
5.0 5
"Excellent mag. Fired 80 rounds with it yesterday and had no problems at all."
5.0 5
"Fits my Chinese SKS perfectly. You have to remove the trigger assembly to get the original 10 round magazine off.Reinstall the trigger assembly, then the 20 round mag will snap right on. The bolt has to be open to attach new mag. There is a strike pin in the cleaning kit that you'll need to remove the trigger.See the owner's manual."
5.0 5
"This is the best purchase for my SKS I have made. I am now buying 2 more."
5.0 5
"Worked great right out of the box. Shot 120 rounds with it today. Not a single jam or problem. Easy to load and no problem when fully loaded. Highly recommend this magazine!"

"Ive seen a few bad reviews on this magazine, and i dont understand why..? This is by far the BEST MAGAZINE FOR THE SKS PERIOD...!!! Fits snug and loads and feeds Perfectly, Thanks Tapco and CTD..."

"I have bought many clips for a sks. None ever work right. This mag is a little stiff to start with but works great after empying it a couple of times. This works so good I now have 6 of them."
5.0 5
"This is the only brand of magazine you need to buy. I had two 30 round steel ones that i through away after i bought one on these. Now I am a proud owner of three Tapco magazines. Its the only way to go."
5.0 5
"I have a Yugo 59/66 SKS. I've purchase two of these mags and they have lasted through a good bit of shooting and operating. I can load the normal SKS stripper clip into these mags while they are in the gun. While having the loaded stripper clip in the clip guide, I have to postition the bottem of the stripper clip forward on the mag while pressing down the rounds. It's easy to do if you practice it.. other than that, the mag inserts easily, both mine hold all twenty. Over all worth the price easily."
5.0 5
"Excellent product. Worked like a charm on my Yugo and my Norinco. Don't bother with other mags; these are the *only* ones I've found that always work. Note that SKS-075 (stock) is compatible with this product."
5.0 5
"I modify and sell SKS rifles (among others) for a living and have tried every kind of magazine available for them. These are the ONLY ones that work. The last time I took a buddy of mine out to shoot my Norinco and Yugo he actually left a pair of them that I had clamped together with a mag clamp on top of the van. At about fifty-five they came flying off of the van and came crashing and tumbling to a stop in the middle of the road. The clamp shattered into four pieces and the mags were pretty beat up. I went back to the range loaded them both up and guess what? THEY STILL RAN LIKE CHAMPS!!!! AWESOME!! I put 500rds through the two of them that day with NO problems. Buy as many as you can afford!!!"

"I purchased these from CTD and they require nothing for my Norinco except loading and going. I will echo what has been said. Do not waste your money on the metal mags. They are heavy and require some manipulation of the mag depending on your weapon. I have the Intrafuse stock and the snap right in. Great stuff."
5.0 5
"I have 6 of these and have fired hundreds of rounds through them and never one jam ever. These are the best mag for SKS ever."
5.0 5
"I am using these mags with my Tapco T6 Intrafuse stock, and I also purchased the extended mag release. The mags work great with the other product, fits like a glove, and I couldn't pull the trigger fast enough to cause the mag to fail. I am very impressed. Oh yeah and you can beat the crap out of these, very well made. Don't buy the steel mags. When it comes to your SKS Tapco is \"the goods.\""

"I have a SKS Yugo Model 59/66. Modifying the stock with a Dremel Tool sanding attachment was easy so the item fits nice and looks good as well. However, this magazine works perfectly with 15 or 16 rounds loaded. It jams for me when I start with 20 rounds. I think that the spring inside the magazine is not strong enough. So I just load 16 rounds and shoot away.SKShooter1"

"Was skeptical after trying and returning 2 Promags last year. Bought 2 Tapcos from CTD and shot 80 rds through my Norinco with T6 stock without any of the expected break-in failures. They engaged into the stock so easily. Should have bought these when I got my stock. My steels work well too but are very difficult to engage and remove quickly. I won't buy anything but these from now on."
5.0 5
"There is a reason this mag has so many good reviews, and for the price why even bother with the others. I've got a Norinco with an ATI folding stock and these mags slide right in with no problems. They feed great and are solidly built. One tiny qualm I have is that loading the first ten with a stripper clip is easy but I have to handload the last ten. Not a huge deal but a minor annoyance."
5.0 5
"Bought 6 of them was shipped to me very fast. Paid for the 3 day shipping and got it in 2. All the mags work great built solid and fit very well with no problems. I have a Yugo SKS, I am not sure how they work for others but works great for mine. I did purchase the T6 stock and I'm sure it makes a difference."
3.0 5
"I love this mag and they work every time. I only wished they made a larger capacity mag"
3.0 5
"I was disappointed in the quality of the TAPCO magazines, heard so many good things about the TAPCO mags. The springs were weak, not strong enough to push the follower with 20 rounds to the top, and hold them in place. I pulled the springs out and stretched them, not cool, but it worked."
4.0 5
"We purchased these for a Yugo SKS 59/66. They worked nicely and fit solid. They would not work with the Ramline stock, but worked great with T6 Fusion stock also available at the CTD Site. For people not able to insert them, it's pretty easy to fix. LOCK THE RECEIVER OPEN. Talked to several people that tried to insert when closed. It just won't work. Overall, a very good magazine."

"A friend had used these mags with no problems, so I gave them a try. They fit my 78' Yugo SKS without modification, but were tight on the stock. I took a simple wood file and smoothed it out a bit, and fit just fine. However the mag was totally non functional when i put it in the rifle. It would load the rounds a 1/4 inch below the bore. I took a look at the factory mag, and started hacking with a round file. I shortened the guides to look more like the factory ones. The plastic was too thick, so I tapered them to point the rounds up more. Once I was satisfied with my work, I loaded it and ran every round out without any malfunction. Great mags in the end which beat the 10 round fixed. Also needed to modify it to accept stripper clips. But they are easy to hand load as well."
5.0 5
"Wow, these are amazing mags for a Yugo SKS, and work great with the Tapco T6 stock."
5.0 5
"I have 6 of these and never had a problem. I use them on T6 stock and Monte Carlo stock. I never tried them in my wood stock guns, so I can't comment there..... I also have Tapco AK mags and the work great in my Maadi...fit tight no slop, but will not fit in my NHM91. So I just use steel mags in it... I WILL buy more as soon as I can... Love CTD!"
5.0 5
"These Tapco mags are (IMO) hands down the best mags on the market for the SKS. I have a Norinco with the Tapco T6 stock. I can load 20 and go to town. I have had no spring issues like some other reviewers. Don't waste your time or money on steel mags."
3.0 5
"Fit in Type 56 Chinese SKS with reasonable effort, but I had to force it in my 1950 Russian SKS with a rubber mallet. The front of the magbody is too thick. We'll see what happens after I file some down."
4.0 5
"Easy to install and fits perfectly on the Norinco. However, loading with a stripper clip does not work that well. Still, it is a good addition to the SKS"
4.0 5
"I had a hard time getting this mag in at first. But after I noticed the plastic on the top corner peeling back I took a knife to the front to corners where the rounds feed up.NOW WORKS AMAZING!"
5.0 5
"Outstanding Product, Perfect fit, it made the SKS rifle look great. I can also load 10 rounds while the bolt is held back."
5.0 5
"Great quality, super reliable, fits all my SKSes without modifications."
5.0 5
"I just wanted to add to all of these wonderful reviews by saying I have ordered 4 items from CTD and all have been outstanding purchases. The SKS Mag fits like a dream and I couldn't have asked for anything more. OUTSTANDING quality in every purchase."
5.0 5
"A great mag that fits great in a type 56 wooden stock. A little tight in my Yugo, but wears in after removing it a couple times."
5.0 5
"They work great in the T-6 Stock. Work great in the original stock. It's going to look great when I get my Bull-Pup stock from SG guns."
5.0 5
"Works perfect with my Tapco stock, fit like a glove. I fired hollow points through it with no issues. I will be ordering 2 more soon!"
4.0 5
"Ya!, they are great mags! But can we have more capacity like a 30 round mag that works. I have 2 pre-ban 30 round mags made by USA Magazine, they rock! Thanks Tapco, and thank you CTD for all of your Kick-A** products!!! RUSS."
5.0 5
"The best mags I have! No jams or stovepipes has a great grip. I well be buying more"
5.0 5
"Works great in my Yugo SKS. I've had issues with some of the cheapy steel mags, but this one has never given me any trouble. Highly recommended!"
5.0 5
"Well...after trying at least 5 different metal magazines in my Yugo this is the ONLY one that will work 100% of the time. Fit is excellent and feel is durable. VERY nicely manufactured."
5.0 5
"this is the second 20 rounder ive bought from CTD and tapco. i put 160rds through my SKS with this mag alone today to thoroughly test it and it worked spectacularly. once again it needed no modification to fit, it held all 20 rounds, and i never had a jam or problem feeding even with hollow points and interchanging between FMJ and HP. fired several volleys with trigger pulls every 3 seconds up to as quickly as i could pull the trigger and even bump firing the entire clip. never a problem. tapco needs to start making higher capacity mags for the SKS. its clear they make the best stuff so they need to step it up!"
5.0 5
"Excellent magazine, undeniably better than the metal 20 or 30 round magazines. The only thing I had to do with it was leave it fully loaded for a few hours to break it in a little. Would definitely buy again!"
3.0 5
"This mag will only function reliably with 15-17 rounds because of weak springs. Even replacement springs from Tapco are inadequate, and Wolff don't make any yet. I also needed to file a little off the top of my 8 mags to fit my 1950 Russian rifle."
5.0 5
"Only bought one to try but I'm sold. Gonna be buying a few more soon. Had to modify my stock a little bit but it fed fine and fit well now. Even got the local finest call on me after I ran two mag loads through my old Russian SKS. The Deputy was impressed too."
3.0 5
"After all the reviews I thought this was the one that was going to end my search for a quality hi-cap SKS mag. I was disappointed to find it was too wide to fit into my 1953 Tula stock by almost a quarter inch. Seems like a well built mag, and I hope so because I'm going to have to throw it at my assailant. I'm sure I could mod it but I shouldn't have to."
5.0 5
"A great mag when using the Tapco stock as well. Originally these mags would misfeed the rounds, but Tapco paid for return shipping and fixed them. They sent them back all for free. Now they work flawlessly. Can't beat Tapco Products."
5.0 5
"I have 3 of these now and never had a problem with any of them. I love these, and will probably never waste money on another steel mag that turns into a target."
4.0 5
"A great well built magazine but if you have a Russian SKS you have to do some filing on the magazine itself. I called Tapco, and they sent me pictures showing me how to modify the magazine to make it fit pretty easy mod great mag."
4.0 5
"Good mag! Better than the cheap metal ones that I can hardly get in my gun. I will be ordering another one or two."
5.0 5
"Good mag. Fits fine. No jams. Ordering more for my other SKS. Nuff said."
3.0 5
"I have two of these mags for my Yugo SKS with a Tapco stock. They both fired flawlessly with brass ammo! The second I put Wolf polymer coated steel rounds in, they both started having problems. About every 3 rounds I would have a jam or stove pipe. Nothing will ever be as reliable as the stock fixed mags, but these are the best out there. You can even mod these to accept stripper clips for dual use! I will keep using these. Its a well built product. I just won't shoot Wolf polymer coated rounds."
3.0 5
"When I first bought these I was impesed with the look and fit. The first time I took them out every one of them jammed over and over. I took my rifle home and cleaned it within an inch of it's life (Gas tubes, pistons, everything!) and when I went back to the range I had no malfunctions at all. My rifle never cared how dirty it was with the non-detachable mag, but this is a good trade-off. Double the capacity for double the maintenance."
5.0 5
"I have five of these and put over 200 rounds thru each without a problem."
5.0 5
"These are great mags, but before you take these to the range you need to clean them. Take them apart and wipe them down on the inside with a good cleaner/lubricant like Break-Free. Also, wipe down the spring and follower. This will make the magazines perform much, much better. It is a good idea to do with any magazines you have. I love these mags. Tapco makes quality stuff."
5.0 5
"Great mags. I have a Chinese SKS and this mag works fine in it. I also have the 10 and 30 rd clips and they all work great."
5.0 5
"A great buy. I love this clip with the Tapco stock."
5.0 5
"Mags fit and work perfectly in Yugo SKS ordered at 3 pm Friday, arrived before 10 am Saturday got to love CTD. Will be ordering more in the future"
5.0 5
"This magazine has functioned flawlessly every time i have used it. It fits my 1953 Russian SKS perfectly. I purchased five of these and will buy more again!"
4.0 5
"After reading the reviews, I ordered a couple of these mags for my Norinco SKS. Conversion/installation was a snap. The first several times I inserted them in the mag well, they were a little too tight, but after wearing the polymer down a bit, they snap in easily and quickly and feed nearly flawlessly (2 malfunctions in 120 rounds). I have tried a couple of aftermarket steel mags in my rifle, and just as everyone else says, the steel mags aren't worth your time when compared with these polymer ones. Cheaper Than Dirt's shipping is second to none. It's so fast that they could probably bake a pie there in Texas, ship it, and have it arrive at my Missouri home still piping hot. Seriously, almost all my orders have arrived in less than 24 hours!"
4.0 5
"Great mags! I got two of these with a Tapco Fusion stock. It works wonderfly. The only reason they aren't 5 bullets is because the metal plates on the bottom rust very easily. No big deal though."
5.0 5
"These mags are perfect! Good polymer and it fits perfect with my SKS. I bought two and will buy more!!! There is no movement or anything."
5.0 5
"These Are The Best Clip's No Jam's,I Will Be Buying More Of These The Quality Is Just The Best,East To Insert To Your SKS,Buy All You Can & Enjoy Shoting All The Round's With No Problem's,No Jam's Cleaning Is Not Bad,Powder Is Pretty Clean!!"
5.0 5
"My Tapco 20 round mag arrived today, I could not be happier. I did have to make a minor modification to my stock so that the mag would fit effortlessly. I used a very sharp wood chisel to remove about 1/16th inch of wood around the area where the mag locks into the rifle. Once this was done, the magazine fit perfectly. It locks the bolt open when empty, and the mag is very easy to remove and reinstall. It looks great, too. Thank you!"
5.0 5
"I have tried 5 different brands of mags. These are the best if you're modernizing your SKS. I bought 11 and left them loaded for 2 weeks before hitting the range so springs losened up and had no jams out of 220 fires."
3.0 5
"Gave up on tapco fixing these mags after they sent the same weak springs. I stretched the springs as another reviewer suggested and now they work perfectly."
5.0 5
"I just got my Tapco clip today for my chinese sks loads 20 rounds perfectly 21 if you want chambers perfectly no jamming and clicks in your gun quick most amazing clip i have ever used way better then metal."
5.0 5
"I'm not disappointed with these mags at all. I've had no feed jams in my Norinco. Paired with Tapco's Extended Mag Catch Release, these and stock mags are much easier to change, even wearing gloves. Cleaning is simple and smooth. Will always buy more if I need to. Thanks CTD."
4.0 5
"These mags are just what the doctor ordered. The only thing I had to to to get them to work effectively in my 56 Romanian SKS was shave down a bit of the stock where the attached mag went. My only complaint is they don't make a magazine pouch specifically for this magazine."
5.0 5
"picked up one just to see how it fits and works. so far so good. my buddy has a lot of tapco gear and recommended this mag to me. like the packaging it came with and feed all the 20 rds very well. nice clean solid mag. no feeding issues. will definitely buy more mags from CTD as soon as they are back in stock"
5.0 5
"Worked Great. In an original stock the stock has to be filed down very slightly, but it cycles great."
5.0 5
"Purchased this mag with unease because it is only a 20 rounder. It was a fantastic decision. I have ran almost 100 rounds through these mags (purchased 2) and have had no problems whatsoever, no jams, FTE's, anything! 5 bullets for sure!"
5.0 5
"I have been using the metal 30 conversion clips for my SKS...JUNK!!!!! I didnt know there was a better way..These things slid in so easy!! what a difference!! want to buy more out of stock :("
5.0 5
"Fit my folding stock equipped Romanian SKS with no problems. Fed very reliably even with rapid fire. I highly recommend them. To bad they are out of stock. I should've ordered more than two. And CTD's tracking procedures are top notch. Thanks guys."
5.0 5
"I have a Tapco 20 round Mag on my Norinco SKS. My SKS has a Tapco stock on it. When i first used the Tapco Mag, it hung up three times between the second and fifth shot. That was because it was new and the spring in the Mag was new. I was using Ulyanovsk FMJ (Russia). I put 20 rounds in the mag and let it set for 72 hours, then no hang ups. I will buy more !!!"
5.0 5
"Bought two of these for my SKS, both fit well with a little sanding of the inside of the rifle stock. No problems with loading or firing, looks good in the SKS."
4.0 5
"I ordered another TAPCO 20 round mag. When i got it,it was all scratched up. I loaded it and when i started to unload it, i had to take out 10 rounds before the spring would come up on it's own. I called C.T.D and told them about it thay are sending me another one.Thank's C.T.D.. I give it 4 Bullets because of C.T.D...No problems gitting another one."
5.0 5
"I bought 2 of these along with some of the Russian made ammo. These mags are really awesome! They fit my Norinco SKS like they came with it from the factory. I read from an earlier review that loading them & letting them sit overnight prevents FTF's. This appears to be true but would seem like common sense on a new mag. I don't consider that an inconvenience but rather a smart way to break in new hardware. I love these mags! They are a steal & I would highly recommend them to anyone with an SKS."
5.0 5
"I have a Norinco Chinese SKS with a black poly stock made by Combat Exchange. I bought one each of all the top rated magazines for the gun to see which worked the best. I will be buying many more 20 round Tapco mags. They load into the gun easier than the mags of my S&W M&P 15 M4. It shot great, didn't jam or break. At the end of the rounds, the bolt stayed open ready to eat more shells. The only other magazine that can beat this might be a 30 round Tapco, which we are all waiting on."
5.0 5
"Bought 2 of these with the Tapco fusion stock. Both work great, and only jammed once, but I think that was because I was firing rapidly and it was about 95 degrees outside with the sun beating down on me. The bottom rusted, but that was because a bottle of water started leaking on the range bag they were in. No performance issues from that though. Great mag. Not sure what everyone else is having problems with. Maybe it's just a flaw in the mag itself? Bad day at the factory? I plan on buying about 8-10 more."
5.0 5
"Bought three of the 20 round mags and all fit and work great in my SKS. No jams, fits snug, but release easily when you want to switch mags. Bolt of SKS holds open on empty clips and closes with shells in the mag. Five bullets from me."
5.0 5
"IMO.... While the Tapco Mags are excellent Mags and the reviews reflect their quality, it would appear that the PROMAG magazines are absolute garbage. The reviews speak for themselves."
4.0 5
"I bought one and it is perfect in every way. I bought two more and the third one has loose shells after it's full. I have to hit it a few times with something. I'm hoping after I use it a few times it will get it together. I can't wait for the Tapco 30 round mags."

"I am very displeased with this mag, it jams all the time in my Chinese Norinco SKS."
1.0 5
"IF YOU LOAD 12 TO 20 ROUNDS THE FOLLOWER IS SO SLOW TO MOVE UP IT JAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!% TO 8 ROUNDS ABOUT 80% FEED RATE JUNK.TOOK MY SKS THAT NEVER JAMMED IN 10,000 ROUND TO A JAM 85% OF THE TIME TILL YOU GET TO 5 ROUNDS.WILL BE CALLING TAPCO MONDAY OR MODIFY MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!"
5.0 5
"I used this in my Norinco SKS with a Dragunov stock. It took 5 minutes with a Dremmel tool to work on the lip on the back side of the mag to make them not bind up going in and out. After that little adjustment, I am very pleased with these mags."
4.0 5
"I have tried many other mags for my sks it seamed with the Chinese model none of them would seat right. This new Tapco mag works perfectly seats nice. I have shot about 500 rounds and have had no FTF's, or jams. This mag works well and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy an sks mag. The only downside to this mag is finding a pouch that will hold the mag, and allow easy access."
4.0 5
"The only Magazine that work on my SKS with no Jam"
1.0 5
"This is a cheap plastic POS to put it nicely. The bullets kept nose diving and would not feed at all in my norinco. I'm not sure what is so different for others that don't have problems. I tried everything to get them to work. I should have just sent them back. Luckily I was able to get $10 a piece upon resale. Save your money."
5.0 5
"Unlike the garbage Pro mag sells, Tapco got it right with this magazine. It's a wonder why Cheaper than Dirt continues to sell Promag mags to their customers given the lousy feedback those mags have received. Buy Tapco and forget the Promag garbage."
1.0 5
"I bought 3 of these 20 round Tapco mags for my Norinco SKS because of the good reviews. The more I shoot through them the worse they get. They were jamming right off the bat, now I get different odd jams about 3 or 4 times on each mag. I think I'm going to see if I can find a good 30 round steel one."
5.0 5
"I purchased a few of these because CTD gave them great reviews; and I'm glad I did. I was beginning to think something was wrong with my gun, but it works fine with these mags."
5.0 5
"I purchased two of these for my Chinese Norinco SKS, and they work great!easy to install. I love them, not one jam or any type of problem at all. Great mag! thanks CTD and Tapco."
3.0 5
"The only way I was able to get the spring to support 20 rounds was to take them out & stretch them. Now they have enough tension to push the rounds up & feed reliably. Tapco should have stronger springs in these (like they do in their 20 round AK mags)."
4.0 5
"The spring gets a little too tight when loading in rounds. BUT when firing, even when getting squirrelly, with a full 20, it fed my Uly ammo with absolutely no problems. Good stuff. Those with feeding issues may want to dig around online for answers."
3.0 5
"I ordered one of these and I had to spend a good half hour filing it down. It fit fine, but the slide would not come all the way forward. After the filing, I have gone through about 5 magazines worth of ammo and it has been fine since then."
5.0 5
"I bought this and the 40 rounder ProMag. I wish I would have bought more. They fit a little tight but I took them out and unloaded a few hundred rounds- 0 jams.Love this Tapco one the other one is good too in my opinion."
5.0 5
"Great Clip, wonderful price, had to order another for backup!"
5.0 5
"Bought a basket case that needed some tlc, This Mag was the crowning part to get it back on the range. Fit Perfect, Worked Flawlessly, Extremely happy with the performance. A +++++"
4.0 5
"I've been reading a lot of reviews on these magazines, and all the positive feedback inspired me to get one. Went out to the local gravel pit and shot 80rds through it and only had one failure to feed...Looked like 2rds at the same time. Cleared it and continued. Took it home and sprayed some Liquid Wrench Silicone spray to free it up. Some have had fitment issues of it being too tight. Yeah it's true but it's not to much to take in and out all the time! I ordered 4 more a few days ago and I'm ready to blast some zombies"
5.0 5
"These mags are really the best for this gun. I have it coupled with the tapco extended mag. They work way better than the stock mags that came with this sks. I did not have to modify the mags like I have seen many other customers having to do. These mags release and load very easy with no hesitation. I highly recommend these mags for anyone with SKS gun. A++ in my opinion."
5.0 5
"Bought this for my SKS along with the Tapco stock. I've fired 500 rds with this and it hasn't let me down once. I keep this in the rifle and use stripper clips for loading. It's a breeze. No feeding, ejection or loading problems. Well made. Ya can't go wrong getting this."
4.0 5
"I bought three, two black, one dark earth. I use them with my ATI stock. I had to make a minor modification to the ATI stock for fit. (I lengthened the opening at the front.) They work great when top fed in the weapon with stripper clips. However, magazines for rapid change out there are not. Color wise, I much prefer black."
4.0 5
"I bought this mag a couple months ago and tried it out on Thanksgiving with my buddies, there's a feeding issue when I mounted it on my Yugo SKS the mag is a tad below the breach and the tip of the bullets hits just below the breach as well, don't know if I got a bad mag or I just need to break it in."
5.0 5
"Fits well and feeds well with no problems. Works so well. Already placed an order for two more."
5.0 5
"Ordered 3. Quick ship. Good looking mag. As usual I had to hand fit them to go in my Russian SKS. Have not been to the range, however, I loaded them and let them sit for 2 weeks to get the spring to \"set\". Function tested mags and every round chambered, extracted, and ejected as advertized. What most guys complaining about these mags do not understand is that the springs need to be put under tension for awhile so they will \"set\". If you doubt my word, check the Wolf Gun Springs site as they have written on this subject."
5.0 5
"I ordered this and some ammo on Monday and it showed up on Thursday. How cool is that? I read some reviews that said they had to do some filing. I have a Norinco SKS and it snapped right in. Loaded it up and I am going shooting tomorrow. Hope the ammo is just as good."
5.0 5
"Finally found a good mag. Had to file both the mag and the stock to make it work in my wood stock Yugo. Had to file out the hollow part of the stock a good bit and then the feed lips. A little rough when feeding. It seems to be a bit lower than the stock integral, but it works and all 20 go in and come out."
4.0 5
"So far very pleased with the SKS Tapco mag! Recently bought an SKS that came with a ProMag 20 round magazine. The ProMag does not work with 20 rounds loaded. Read the reviews for the Tapco and purchased two magazines. Received the mags in 3 days, so I'm pleased with shipping. Magazines needed a little filing to fit but now feed all rounds. Have not shot the rifle yet, but so far I am pleased."
5.0 5
"Had a couple of 30 rnd steel mags that jammed every 2 or 3 rounds. Did some research and found that Tapco mags were the best and would work fine in my Chinese SKS. Shipped quickly and I'm impressed. Ran 120 rounds through my SKS today and they work flawlessly. Fit nicely and holds the bolt open on last round, making it easy to put the next one in. I will definitely be getting more of these in the future."
5.0 5
"If you're looking for more firepower out of your SKS, then these mags are the real deal. I only bought one because of the reviews that mentioned it not fitting into the rifle and having to modify it. That is correct, you may have to do some work on your stock. When inserting the mag, I noticed the wood flexing outward to allow the mag to fit. If you're not comfortable with that happening, you should do some sanding/filing on the stock to ease up on flexing of the wood. Otherwise, the mag will fit snug, but wear over time will loosen things up. I will be buying more. CTD came through again and the price is right."
5.0 5
"Can't say enough about this product. FINALLY a reliable alternative to my SKS 10 round magazine. This mag fit perfectly in my Norinco SKS with a Ramline folding stock. As mentioned by others, I did have to spend about 2 minutes with some 100 grit sandpaper in order to make the bolt stay open on the last shot, but other than that, everything worked great and I just got done test firing a full magazine with no jams. Tapco has always come through and this item is no different. CTD also came through once again with the shipping and I received my order in 2 days. My SKS now has a much needed, modern upgrade and a permanent place in my SHTF gun collection. Highly recommended!"

"Purchased this magazine 4 years ago and it has been the best one in quality and price. DO NOT PURCHASE THE MATCO MAGAZINE FOR THE SKS, AS I HAVE, PIECE OF JUNK. DO NOT PURCHASE THE PROMAG MAGAZINES, AS I HAVE, NOT AS GOOD AS TAPCO. I have purchased my second Tapco magazine because it works. Sad to say, but the others do not. Cheaper than Dirt should be ashamed for selling such atrocities on their website."
5.0 5
"Bought two of these. Both fit, both work, and they're cheap. Fit on my Chinese SKS."
5.0 5
"Bought two and both fit perfectly in my Norinco SKS with the Tapco Intrafuse T6 stock. I may get a few more. I would certainly recommend this mag to others."

"Works great in my Norinco SKS with the Tapco Intrafuse T6 stock!"

"I've tried numerous high capacity aftermarket magazines in my Yogoslavian SKS. I have a Monte Carlo synthetic stock. This mag fit perfectly. It chambered well and each round cycled flawlessly. I ordered one after reading the reviews. After I took out the stock magazine and installed this mag, I immediately ordered four more mags. It works the way a detachable magazine should work.Great job. Well made magazine."

"I've owned an SKS for over 20 years and have tried multiple magazines. These Tapco 20 rounders are by far the most reliable I've found. Avoid the metal 30 rounders, they don't stand the test of time well at all."

"I bought 3 of these recently. First off, arrived way earlier than intended. Huge bonus. Second, they are sturdy, easy to load and as for the fit and function... Like buttah. Seriously, after trying so many different discount versions and hating every single one. These are SUPERB magazines for my sks. Will definitely be picking up a few more for the road."

"I have a Romanian SKS with a Monte Carlo Stock & these mags have functioned flawlessly & fit perfect. I've shot approx. 100 rounds thru the 2 Tapco mags I currently have. I am convinced that they are absolutely reliable & I am going to buy 2 more of them."

"Had to do a little wood removal on the inside of the old wood stock. It was tight and squeezing the magazine together on the shell not allowing the spring to push up. Done a little carving with X-Acto knife. Marked the mag with a red Sharpie and remowed the red inside till it fit ok. Snaps in and out smoothly now."

"Bought one from another store to try it out and quickly added more from CTD. No filing needed with ATI stock or wooden stock. I have tried other magazine brands (composite and metal)these are by far the best. Eell done Tapco."

"Perfect fit on the Tapco Intrafuse stock and the ATI strikeforce stocks. Even tried in two different factory wooded stocks and locked right in. If you own an SKS this is the mag for you."

"Great magazines so far! Had to do some sanding on the inside of the lips. Even outside of the stock which is a tapco stock the rounds would jam. 10 minutes of sanding and testing I was able to get the rounds to feed no problem. Alot of trial and error. If you're having feeding problems it's something you can check. The bullets just rub against them and get caught when cycling."
