"I ordered these to go along with the rail I just bought. They fit the UTG carbine rail perfectly. I wasn't happy with how the rail looked by itself, so these make a good addition. Also ordered a foregrip so I cant really comment on the comfort of these, but apperance is great."

"I put these on a quad rail handguard and they feel much more comfortable than angular aluminum. They are more like hard plastic than soft plastic, but I think they will stay clipped on your rail better that way. You get more covers in this package than most comparable products that cost more. I did cut a couple in half to make three inchers, and it went smoothly. I only gave it four bullets because I really don't know if there is something better out there or not. These are well crafted and do what they're supposed to."

"Good sturdy plastic, not rubber. The rubber rail covers \"roll off\" during aggressive handling, these have not. Works."

"Put these on a Troy Ind. mini-14 chase (machined from a billet of alloy). They took the hard edges off and should not be as cold pulling it out of the trunk of the cruiser. They stay in place, until I remove them and they don't roll off. You can cut them in half. It would be nice to be able to cut them into quarters, but over all good addition. I am telling every one that has rails to get some of these."

"A great product for the money. They look like they may come loose if taken on and off a lot, but that's not what they were meant for."

"Just got these yesterday, snapped on with ease. They don't fit as tightly as other rail covers I have purchased but these are the most comfortable and best looking. Made my S&W M&P 15-22 look sweet!"

"I thought these would be cheap quality and bulky because of the price. They looked like the perfect grip to set on top of rocks and the like for my bottom rail. The pictures cannot show how slim these are when attached to the rail. This item was sleek and works wonderfully with the low profile ladder that covers the other unused portions. The plastic is very rubbery yet holds up to rocks and other barriers very well."

"I did not realize how uncomfortable holding a quad-rail was (even with vertical fore-grip) until I put this covers on. I deliberated between plastic and rubber covers, and although I've only used these I like them very much. They snap on very securely, and the ability to cut them in half to a more manageable length is great. The plastic finish is smooth with only the ridges you see in the photo (no texture for grip). I can see where you may not get a solid grip with sweaty hands using this, but that's not really a use-case for these particular covers. All-in-all, I like them, they're staying on my rifle, and I would recommend them."

"These covers are the best that I have had so far. The rail hurts the hand after a few rounds and these are perfect for that. They fit nice and tight and can be cut for adjustment. Best is the feel they have when holding the rifle."

"Tapco is a great company and they manufacture top quality products. These rail covers install smoothly with a hair dryer and are easily cut for custom fit."

"Bought these for my AR-15, they popped on with no effort at all, which is a problem in my opinion. They go on and off way to easy and have even popped of when shooting. I am a little rough on my rifle so that may be why but when I get a rail cover, I want to know it is gunna stay in place. I like Tapco but this isn't the best out there. I would get some UTG rail covers instead if you're concerned about price."

"I honestly don't know why people have complained about these being loose. Maybe they didn't have milspec rails or something, but I snapped these on to three different rail systems on three different weapons, including a rail I purchased on CTD, and they are excellent. They went on easy, are tough to get off, and will not slide or pop off under stress. Get them, they beat the CRAP out of the UTG ones."

"I have to agree with adayeny. These snap on to my Midwest Ind. rails like they were made for each other. For the price I don't believe these covers can be beat. A decent pruning shear allows better sizing than merely cutting them into equally sized pieces. Good buy that I would recommend."

"These rail covers are gorgeous! Snaps on snug and feels great with or without gloves. Whatever this is made of has a tough plastic feel but with a light rubberized texture. Not saying it will stick to the wall if you throw one at it, but it has enough grip that, should your palm sweat, you won't lose any toes to your hand slipping. I was ready to pay quite a bit more per rail cover for a high end brand before I found these. Would've been a lot more had I bought five of those vs. this cheap pack of five. Buy these and use the money you just saved for a nice dinner. You deserve it!"

"Exactly what I was looking for: functional and cheap. They snap right on the rail, and can easily be cut in half to better fit areas where I need them."
