Keep your AK style rifle legal and reliable with this 10 round magazine from TAPCO. A 10 round capacity makes this magazine legal in areas that limit the number of rounds your magazine can hold. High strength polymer construction and aggressive texturing match that of the standard TAPCO 30 round magazine. Made in the USA and counts as 3 USC 922(r) compliant parts when installed on your rifle.

"Just received my \"Tapco\" 10 round magazine and it fits perfectly into my AK-47 WASR- 10. When I bought it, it came with 2 Tapco 30 round Mags. They worked very well. I prefer the hard plasticto metal mags! I will be getting more of the mags!!Alfred"

"I purchased two of these for my WASR-10 and I'm quite happy with them. They fit well and are very snug. No problems feeding. What more can you ask. I like these better than the 30 round mags that came with the gun for shooting prone/sitting."

"Awesome little mag for hiking around in the desert, and perfect for range shooting. Finally a 10 round mag that actually works!"

"Bought one of these for my Norinco SKS. After three minutes with a file it fit perfectly. No rattles like the metal mags. No problems feeding ammo."

"I've now tried two of these mags and they just won't feed right for me. I can never get the magazine to feed after the fifth round. It makes a great target though!"

"Works. What more can you ask for?"

"This is a solid polymer mag that fits well in a WASR with mimimalwiggle. It is good for using an AK and stock fixed bipod. Since barrel attcahed bipods jump around with recoil. This is a good mag for bipod shooting, and I would rather shoot 10 rounds for accuracy than blast away with 30. I gave it four stars, because there is no bolt hold open on the last round with the WASR. But its great for AK target shooting."

"This is the mag to get to hunt legal with your AK. I have put a longer follower to limit the round count to 5. This plastic mag fits tight on my Romanian AK-47 and does not rattle."

"Took the two I ordered to the range and proceeded to shoot through 600 rounds in one day. No failures whatsoever. Great product. I strongly recommend to anyone with a WASR."

"Great mag at a great price. Keep up the good job tapco."

"I got this to use when hunting with my AK. It drastically reduces the weight from a metal 30 round mag. Also, it helps when having to ease into a position to take a shot as the lower profile doesn't catch like a 30 round mag does. Mine seats and feeds well. I still like the 30 round for plinking but for the weight and performance on the hunt I prefer having the 10 round mag."

"Thie mag works great. I put a wood piece (redneck plug) in the mag to limit it to 5 rounds. No problems."

"Ordered some Tapco 5rd and 10rd for my WASR Romainian AK-47. Marked as out of stock and was notified when restocked. Order recieved quickly. Only problem is neither size fit in the magazine well at all. Didn't fit a friends identical rifle either. Other folks report that some work fine and some are just tight but these aren't even close. Suspect a bad batch from Tapco. Return process worked fine and customer service was great but I would rather have some working mags."

"These mags are perfect. The followers can easily be chopped down to create 15 round mags for NJ's 15 round limit. I figure you could even create a 16 or 17 rounder if that's what you are looking for. They are made of high quality thick plastic. They feed well and are priced right. They work great in my Arsenal."

"These do not fit my Saiga, part that catches on the mag release is too big compared to the factory."

"Ordered this for my wasr 10, did not fit. It was very tight in the mag well, the back tab was way too big, the mag-catch couldn't snap back to lock the mag in place. Required 15 mins of dremel sanding on the entire top that enters the rifle. The back tab needed to be sanded to be made much smaller. Seems like the mold was scaled a little too big, maybe its just my wasr- I don't know. But anyways, after that it fits pretty good. Took it to the range today, feed my ak perfectly. Good light mag to take to the range, never put more than 10 in at a time there anyway."

"Magazine is too wide. I have purchased hundreds of items from CTD and this will be the first that I have returned. What does it say about the quality of a magazine if you have to grind/file the sides to make it the same size as a surplus magazine. I will stick to surplus AK Magazines. Truely disappointed in Tapco. This is also the first review that I have written. I don't want anyone else to purchase this junk."

"Ordered and then read the reviews later, got kinda worried after reading but it was a different story when i got the mag it seated perfectly with no mods thanks CTD and Tapco will be ordering a few more for the range."

"I purchased this mag after reading the gentleman from NJ's review on cutting the follower and turning it into a 15 round magazine, which is the limit in NJ. I recently had to move back to NJ and will be here for a few years, so I tried out the suggestion.Just a note of caution: BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU CUT! I ended up guestimating where to cut the follower by tightly stacking five 7.62x39mm rounds on my desk (pointing up) and eyeballing where I needed to use my Dremel tool. It worked great. Unfortunately, I failed to take into consideration the fact that the tips of the cartridges pack together more tightly than the bases in the magazine itself. To my chagrin, 16 rounds loaded into the magazine just beautifully, instantly rendering it illegal! I immediately destroyed the follower and am awaiting a replacement follower from a Tapco suggested retailer of said part, so I can try again.Measure twice, cut once, Dumb *ss!"

"I have a Poly Tech AKS-762 (wood furniture) from the '80s. Similar experience like others have mentioned. I had to file down the rear locking tab to achieve proper fitment. I haven't taken them to the range yet, so we'll see how they hold up. I'll probably end up looking for some metal mags."

"The magazine did not fit my WASR-10. I was forced to shave almost 1/8 inch off of the rear. Even after that, the magazine was still too wide to fit properly. I shaved about 1/16\" off both sides and finally got it to lock into place. So after all this, I discovered it held rounds awkwardly and did not release from the magazine well smoothly. In my opinion, this magazine was not manufactured very well, and I would not recommend it for anybody who wants to use an AK in a tactical or speed shooting scenario. There are very few situations where you have the time to beat a magazine into place, and fewer still where you can spend almost an hour with power tools making it fit."

"I have a CAI Polish AKMS underfolder and this mag fits and feeds amazingly. My mag well is tight with no wobble, and this mag fits super tight; tighter than regular metal mags. Got one just to keep in my B.O.B."

"Ordered this and 3 other items yesterday and arrived today, wow! Anyway, got this as hunting mag for my Norinco thumbhole shorty. I knew there was a chance I'd have to work on it and sure enough just like the others I had to sand at the rear latch and a little on the outer corners of the mag by the feed lips. It's tight and functions well but I can't seat it with 10 rounds in it, only 9. No biggie though, it will work for what I need it for. Sure like dealing with CTD."
