The TAPCO Gen II AR-15 30 Round Dark Earth Polymer Magazine Molded for Durability and Guaranteed to Feed and Function Extremely reliable and durable AR-15 magazine at a great price. Collecting input from military, law enforcement, and civilian shooters, TAPCO has designed a magazine that can be depended on from a trip to the firing range to deployment overseas.

Molded of reinforced composite with aggressive horizontal ridges that provide increased gripping surface for insertion and extraction of the magazine in wet or muddy conditions. This also helps to eliminate feed lip separation. The anti-tilt follower has been designed to allow more dirt and grime to pass than any other magazine on the market. This allows the magazine to keep feeding ammo, despite loose dirt or sand that may have entered the magazine. The spring is made using a 1770 Stainless steel wire, featuring a unique shape for smoother, quieter loading through all 30 rounds. It also reduces overall stress on the magazine body, preventing spine cracks.

Specifications and Features:

"I just bought 2 of these. I knew when I was playing with the mags at home they would work. The follower is really smooth and presents the rounds at a good attitude. After shooting with this mag, I would say that these mags function 110%, but we all know it's only possible for a mag to function at 100% and these do in my AR. These will be very good competition for Magpul's plastic magazine."
4.0 5
"This mag looks sleek and is great for the price, My only complaint is that it fits a little snug in the magazine well of my Olympic Arms AR-15. I'm used to mags just dropping out when released, and since this one fits a little tight some additional effort is required to pull it out. In a tactical situation this may be a deal breaker but for my use it\uFFFDs not a huge problem. Again, it\uFFFDs a great, sturdy mag and it\uFFFDs not too expensive at all. I\uFFFDll be buying more in the future."

"Bought two for trial basis. Immediately tried fit in two AR's, and both fit well and ejected well. Followers so far have displayed no tendency to tilt. Side walls were strong and resist pressure well. Well having fired with them only once each (they actually hold 30 rounds as advertised), I suspect the next time they will perform as well as the first. If so, I'll get a few more."

"I got one of these from CTD because of the price. I was skeptical because I never heard of Tapco. I figured it was some cheap Chinese Magpul imitation. Well I was wrong it is not. When it arrived it clearly had Made in USA molded into it and has a very solid feel to it. Its slightly heavier than the flimsy steel mags ~1oz. I immediately slid it into my RRA LAR15. It locks in good and drops right out on release. Off to the range to test. it. I have some Wolf military classic steel case ammo that can feed funny in cheap steel mags. Perfect to test this mag with. Ran 60 rounds of Wolf and 30 of Georgia Arms 55 grain brass. Not one problem. This mag feeds very well in my Rock River Arms Ar15 even with the steel case ammo. I would never buy another steel mag as long as this is available. Only complaint is no dust cap like the Magpul and no window to see the ammo. But those are luxury items anyways. As far as function, construction quality, and aesthetics I rate this product 5 bullets."

"Had no issues with this mag. Did not require any trimming like the AK-47 version. Great Sturdy Mag."

"Ran 60+ rounds through this mag with my SW MP15 and a Keltec plr 16.Great price .Will buy more soon!!!"

"Was out in Utah's west desert shooting water melons and all. Cycled through a bunch of 55 gr FMJ with no issues what so ever. I then wanted to try out some 50 gr hollow points. The first round cycled, and the second one mis fed and jammed the projectile down into the brass case. Cleared it, chucked the damaged round and tried again. First round went out, and another mis feed. Tried a mil spec mag and pmag, no issues."

"VERY NICE MAGAZINE'S GET SOME!!!"

"These \"LOOK\" like Magpuls so everyone thinks they're good. I bought 4 of them because Magpuls were hard to get at the time. These things were humorous. I loaded them up and put them in my chest rig for a bunch of training. The rounds were flowing out of the magazines like water from a fountain with no manipulation what so ever. Want polymer that works? Buy Magpuls, not Tapco. Terrible production. They're hard as a rock but are terrible at keeping rounds."
5.0 5
"Awesome mags!!! I like these better than steel mags. I will be buying more!! Awesome price too."
4.0 5
"Nice Mags.. Look and feel GREAT! No problems what so ever. Great price, can't say enough about these mags. will be ordering 5 more shortly"
4.0 5
"I bought three of these mags and took them out to the range yesterday. Twice I had a small problem with them. The problem was when I initially put the mag in the ar-15 with the bolt locked to the rear then when I released the bolt forward a round should have automatically feed. Twice the mag didn't feed, so I had to charge the ar-15 again until a round would feed from the mag. after that, no problems with the mags as far as feeding while firing or jams."
5.0 5
"Great mags especially for the price. They got a nice grip to them and drop free from every gun I put them in. Follower is very smooth... I've had a few loaded for a few weeks now and none of the shells are \"popping out.\" Feeds really smooth and is very quiet, not rattling... It's a great mag, I have a CAA Polymer Mag and the new CAA countdown mag too. It's just like them but has better grips and looks IMO. And considering the price, it's more nice."
4.0 5
"Good solid mag love the grip i had no problems with it except once it with 3 rounds left it didnt feed. :) would recommend i have 300 rounds with 1 messup so no complaints"
5.0 5
"Bought three for my Bushmaster, went to the range and out to the fields. Then I bought three more and brought them to Iraq with me. Haven't failed me yet!"
5.0 5
"Great price and great mag.and awsome grip. This really stands out with my AR15 and is easy to load. I will replace all my mags for these."
1.0 5
"Bought 4 of these plastic things and they are laughable. Bullets jam or fail to feed. Used in DPMS and Armalite rifles...problems in both!!! They make great paper weights for the bench...so your targets won't blow away!!! I'll never use ANY mags made from plastic again...regardless of BRAND. I will stick with aluminum or steel MIL-SPEC,military contract green follower 30 rounders...never,ever a problem with those.Don't waste your money!"
5.0 5
"I ran 4 clips worth of Lake City 5.56 ammo through this and it performed flawlessly. I would recommend it."
3.0 5
"These seem like heavy duty magazines, but when I load 30 in there, it's EXTREMELY difficult to install it in the magwell. I have a couple Magpul (PMag 30rd) magazines, and those clip in and out with no problems. I'll have to junk these Tapco magazines for some Magpuls. Granted, there's less slack with the Tapco, and from what I read online some people have to file theirs down to get them to fit smoothly."
5.0 5
"i own 5 of these for a total of 150 rounds plan on getting 5 more for a total of 300 rounds at the ready when shtf very reliable mags at a very good price tapco products are the best !!!!!"
4.0 5
"I have one in black and two in round dark earth. I am very pleased with them. The one in black does not eject very well but over all good product and great price."
5.0 5
"I've shaken them. I've had them in my gear and jumped up and down. I've even thrown them across the yard, and not a round dropped (I heard they tended to drop rounds, so that's the first thing I tested). Slid into the mag well with less effort than my MILITARY ISSUE mags. I took them to the range this past weekend, and ran at least 60 rounds through all 6 of them. I really don't forsee a problem. I'm buying several more!"
3.0 5
"I bought 1 of these to test out before I (possibly) buy more of them. First off, I like the look and style the black mag has on my AR. Second, I like the price. With that being said I felt good when I went to the range to test it out. My only other mag to test against it was my Bushmaster mag that came w/the gun. The Bushmaster performed flawlessly through 100 rounds.....the Tapco did not! It was hard to get more bullets in the mag once you get past 20rds so that's all I could do at a time. Maybe the spring needed to be worked a little bit??? Out of 100rds through it I had 2 feed failures. In a row! I used the same Remington ammo the whole time. Take it for what you will, I prefer to spend the extra money and get the MagPul mags. Those work flawlessly!"
5.0 5
"you wont find a cheaper mag of this durability a really good buy"
5.0 5
"I purchased 3 for range use and put 60 rounds through each. I had no jams or misfeeds. A great price. They are a little tight in the mag well but not hard to fix."
5.0 5
"Great Mags work very well in my Double Star AR-15. Durable, at first the spring is very tight, but after a few mags run through it, works just fine. Cycles through my AR great. I have intentually droped them and threw them on the floor, fully loaded, and the mag held up and the ammo never fell out. Very good product for the price. Will be back for more."
5.0 5
"I bought four of these mags and they were delivered as FAST as usual from CTD. I tried all four mags in my DPMS AP4 Carbine, and there were NO cycling issues through 120 rounds. Not bad considering I was also using the Russian ammo (also from CTD). One other thing to mention is that mags were VERY snug, and were tough to release but I don't have another brand of rifle to compare. Otherwise, they appear solid and performed exceptionally. Oh and I'm buying 4 more."
1.0 5
"For the price I figured I'd give em a try but they are VERY tight going in and do not drop out without hard pulling with the off hand. For me this makes them not usable as they need to drop free when the mag release button is pressed. But for the cheap price its not worth sending back so I'm using it as a bench vise adapter. Worked great holding my lower in while removing the butt stock. My rifle is the DPMS Oracle."
5.0 5
"Hey, read the reviews all over the internet and figured out that there were more for than against, besides how could you lose at $9.97 per clip. Bought 2 clips went out coyote hunting and have yet to have a failure. So bought two more. One thing though they get heavy when they are full....."
5.0 5
"This is an incredible clip and it is easier to load than standard clips. Easy to put into and take out of gun. I definetly recommend this to someone looking into it."
5.0 5
"Best mags I have seen on the market!!! Fits my DTI 15 and my M&P15 perfectly. I have twenty of these with my first four having over 1,000 rounds fired through them without one feed problem!!"
3.0 5
"I haven't shot any rounds out of these yet, but I bought two and they are very tight when empty and do not drop free when I press the mag release. They look cool and functioned when I cycled some rounds by hand, but I'll have to check them out at the range. The fact that they don't fall free is kind of annoying."
5.0 5
"These are some great magazines! They work very well with my DDM4V5. I would recommend to anyone looking for extra magazines. And at this price, you can stock up!"
4.0 5
"I only had to do a little work to make them drop free. I never had any jams I use them for LEO work, so functionality is a MUST. I'd definitely use them for anything."
5.0 5
"All 3 mags drop with no issues or modifications. Fits perfect and is tight in my Bushmaster AR-15."
2.0 5
"Jammed 9/10 times when loading from empty to full into my Colt AR-15."
5.0 5
"I bought this for my High Standard mil spec M4. It works flawlessly. The magazine drops out gun, as it should, with no hang ups. I'll be buying more."
4.0 5
"Purchased four of these mags for my RRA M4 not too long ago. The mags are light, sturdy and load relatively easy compared to the standard aluminum mags I used when I was in the service. They feed great and I haven't had any magazine induced SPORTS moments since I've been shooting with them. They aren't Magpul (Not sure why CTD isn't carrying them anymore), but these TAPCO's are a reliable and somewhat cheaper alternative. Will most likely buy two or three more of these in the near future."
5.0 5
"I took a pair of these to Iraq with me. The first thing I noticed was that the spring is so strong, it was pushing rounds out of the top of the mag. It was quick work to trim the spring, and after that, they functioned flawlessly. If you don't want to modify it, and have time to break it in, just load 20 rounds in it."
5.0 5
"got three, went through each one twice, no malfunctions. very snug."
3.0 5
"I only had one round spring out and that was while I had to slap the mag in because its such a tight fit. I had 29 rounds in when it happend recomend only running 25 rounds per one of these mags. But, it is nice mag for the price and if you dont mind the 25 rounds."
5.0 5
"Bought 5, buying more, enough said."
5.0 5
"I bought four more of these and was very pleased to get the new Gen II magazines. These are much better than the previous 8 that I bought. Both were by TAPCO but the new ones are slightly better; improving on great is tough to do."
5.0 5
"Straight out of the box fit in my High Standard AR with absolutely no problems, will definitely be buying many more."
4.0 5
"Just recieved 4 of these for my dpms m-4. They insert/drop-free/feed as well as my magpul mags(Wish i had these in desert storm!!) I'm not the knowing person in the world when it come to specs, stats, etc. But i know that you can read all of the reviews in the world,(No disrespect to the guys/gals that do this for a living) but you won't learn a thing until you see for yourself what works for you. So to make a long story longer(lol) these mags are go to go!! I'll be ordering 6 more in about 5 minutes! Thanks CTD."
1.0 5
"Bought two of these to compliment my packerized mags for my Olympic Arms AR-15. No matter what I did these TAPCO mags would not feed more than one two rounds before failing to feed. I don't know how these magazines fair with other AR's and other rifles with compatible mag-wells, but my experience was obviously not good. I wouldn't personally recommend."
5.0 5
"I bought five of these mags. I figured for the price, even if they were crap, it wouldn't be a bad bust. Well, I went to the range and they performed superbly. I am going to buy many more! You can\uFFFDt go wrong with these! They work fine in my AR!"
5.0 5
"No problems what-so-ever thus far on my Stag Model 8 AR. Will be getting more in the future! Thanks CTD!"
4.0 5
"I was very surprised to see how light the mags were. I fed all thirty with no problem at all. Shot rapid and reg no bad feeds thanks ctd, another good order."
5.0 5
"just got two of these all i can say is awesome loads and feeds all 30 rounds no problem light weight i have a double star ar-15 and they load and fit better than my factory mag plan on ordering a few more without a doubt very happy with them"
5.0 5
"I take my weapons, my magazine(obviously) to some of the harshest environments possible. I beat the crap out of them, and then demand that they take more. I spent a week on top of a frozen mountain range in North Western Nevada. The mags operated flawlessly in this environment. They also operated flawlessly in extremely hot and dusty environments. The only thing I didn't like was the overt flair of the base plate as it makes it a bit difficult to put in and out of mag pouches. This is an awesome product. As with any product you will get a few bad ones. I have yet to get bad ones. I own Magpul pmags as well, as far as performance I have yet to note a significant difference. Highly recommended."
5.0 5
"Gen II is much much better than Gen I Mags. I bought 6 of these and all functioned fine firing from 10 full, 20 full, and 30 full. In hind sight the 6 Pmags I got for $85.20 are probably worth the small amount of money more, but I like having these around for really rough training days. Thanks CTD for great deals!"
5.0 5
"For the price, it can't be beat. They loaded fast and easy, no hangups or dragging. I bought two I wish I would have bought 4. Both loaded in less than 4 minutes, light weight and easy to grab. They performed excellent, as a magazine should. My only advice when you buy these...Buy more bullets!"
5.0 5
"Bought 6 of these, loaded up and went to the range, not one jam in 180 rounds, weapon got hot but the clips fed just fine."
4.0 5
"I've wanted to try these mags ever since the success with the 30 rd AK mags of this brand. I purchased one to give it a try. It was in good condition and looked great but, the loaded magazine will not lock into my Bushmaster M15E2S with the bolt in the forward position. I tried steady pressure and then smacking the bottom of the floorplate but it was not locking in. It may be the magazine or it could be the rifle but whatever the problem is, is irrelevant now. But that being said, it fed slick as grease and it is cheaper than most other mags as well. I find this minor flaw not serious and will be purchasing more."
5.0 5
"Works perfect in my DPMS AR. No issues, easy to load and its not metal on metal. I despise metal magazines in a metal receiver."
5.0 5
"Bought 3 and thay worked perfect in my Rock River AR15. No issues, easy to load and no jams at all! I will buy more!"
5.0 5
"Bought 3. Flawless performance and very well designed. Looks great in my Rock River."
4.0 5
"I have a few SKS Tapco mags and I enjoy them. I bought this mag for my Kel tec SU-16c. It works fine, I just cant make use of the folding stock with these mags."
5.0 5
"Bought this for DPMS M4. Love it. Feeds better than any of the metal mags and loads up easier on the fingers too! Have this same style mag for my AK and they both rule."
5.0 5
"I recently purchased 3 more of these mags for my AR. A friend was skeptical about the durability. Unless dropped fully loaded on the lips they are almost indestructible!Work good in heat or cold. Function without a problem. To the guy who said they were easier on fingers, it's true but you would be way ahead to purchase an Mag Lula loader. You can load and unload in seconds. Tapco mags are good for AK SKS and Mini 14's as well."
5.0 5
"PERFECT! All I can say."
5.0 5
"Bought two for my Bushmaster M4A3. They work flawlessly. I like it much more than the factory mag."
5.0 5
"I was leary in ordering these mags after seeing how cheap they were, so I started off with only 3. After spending the day at the range I went home and ordered a few more. They worked perfectly in my Bushmaster M4A3. The factory magizine didn't preform half as good, needless to say the factory mag went in the garbage! Thanks again CTD for an awsome product at a great price!"
5.0 5
"Bought this magazine and shipping was fast. Fit my CMMG like a glove and fed just fine."
1.0 5
"I own a POF 16\" AR-15, I purchased 5 of these and each one had feed issues when feeding quickly. I'm currently trying to return them."
5.0 5
"Awesome mag so far. Bought four and took took a trip to the range no misfeeds or hiccups. Fit like a glove in my s&w. Shipping was fast as always."
5.0 5
"These things work great, hold up fine and are so light too. I sometimes think my mag is half empty because of the weight. No fail to feeds ever. One thing is that they will take a round or two more than 30, so count as you load as this will screw up mag seating. Well worth the money though."
4.0 5
"I bought two of these mags and took them to the range. One of them performed flawlessly and the other was feeding just fine but wasnt holding up the bolt catch on the last round. It was easily fixed I just pulled it apart and tightened up the spring. I give this 4 stars, awesome deal."
5.0 5
"These are the best I've used, more durable and forgiving than metal or aluminum. Someone said if I dropped one fully loaded on the lips it would break or mess them up. Show me any metal mag that it won't ruin if dropped on it's lips. The lighter weight is a bonus too. I'm buying all of them. You can have the metal ones. Well, time to milk the goat."
5.0 5
"Bought 3 of these to use with the AR that I recently finished building. Works great, fit perfect right out of the box with not fitting/filing needed. Sturdy design. No jams or failure to feeds."
5.0 5
"I bought 5 of these mags for my Smith and Wesson M & P 15. I've run about 100 rounds through each without any jams, hangups, FTF, FTL, etc. Maybe time will tell, but they work great so far."
3.0 5
"Good construction and easy to load manually. However, this mag will not drop when ejected from my Sig 516. I have to tug (fairly hard) on it to remove it. I purchased ten, and all ten functioned the same way, full or empty. Pmags drop smooth as silk and aren't that much more. Spend the extra few bucks for the much better quality."
5.0 5
"No complaints here. I bought some of these along with the excellent .223 LULA Butler Creek Mag Loader (item # ARR-139). I had 120 rounds loaded in a few minutes! I was expecting these mags to be well, less that stellar compared to my old metal mags. Wrong! I am impressed with how rugged they are. IN and out of my S&W M&P 15 like a charm. I even like the way they look. For me anyway, these mags along with the LULA noted above, are my new setup. I'm going with these mags from now on and CTD's service was tops!"
5.0 5
"I have not had one problem with this 30rd mag after hundreds of rounds. No failure to feed, rounds load easily into mag, and inserts easily into the magazine well. Releases easily also. Sturdy...great magazine."
5.0 5
"Really like these mags, actually becoming pretty partial to them. Very snug fit in my DPMS, yet to have a problem."
5.0 5
"These mags work great in my M&P. It is just as good as my Magpul mags. Very happy will be buying more."
5.0 5
"Great mag for the money.I have run a few hundred rounds through this mag and have had zero failures so far.Federal Lake City Brass ammo onlyI have a Bushmaster Carbon 15 and I swear it likes these TAPCO mags more than the factory steel mag"
5.0 5
"These are good but the PMAG comes with the stress reliever caps if you want to leave them loaded for an extended period. These are great quality but just miss that one feature! not a big deal."
5.0 5
"Worked perfectly with about 300 rounds through 2 different ARs. I bought three of them just to try out the polymer mag thing, but I won't be going back to the steel mags. Easy to load, quiet, and light. I'm going to buy some more."
1.0 5
"These Mags SUCK!!! Bought for duty use. They drop rounds and cause malfunctions. Spend a little more and get some quality Mags. I ended up getting mil-spec DPMS steel mags. At least 1,000 rounds without an issue."
5.0 5
"I bought 3 of these cause they were the right price and didn't expect much. Boy was I wrong!! THESE MAGS ARE AWESOME AND TAKE ANY AND ALL ABUSE! Buy them while you can at this price!"
1.0 5
"I ordered this mag and a AK mag at the same time, the AK worked flawlessly, but this one jammed on every other round. So I sent it back and CTD gave me a full refund. So 1 bullet for the mag and 5 bullets for CTD. I assume that I just got a bad one, you might get a good one, but you have been warned!!!"
5.0 5
"Bought two of these, they fit very well, had no issues at the range, went through 200 rounds without any problems, no jams, fits like a glove, for the price, you can't beat it, will by more."
5.0 5
"These are EXCELLENT mags. I bought six, and have since fired 1000 rounds through them, not one problem. They feed perfectly, drop free flawlessly, even after getting kicked around in the dirt a bit. These are, in my opinion, superior to the pmag. The feed lips are very tough, I have not experienced any issues with them becoming weak, even after being left loaded in the trunk of my vehicle. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"
3.0 5
"I've fired about 200 rounds out of the three mags I bought and so far I can count the number of times I've made it through a full mag without a jam on one hand. That sounds bad, but know that I've been using .223 rounds in a 5.56 M4 variant AR-15 and the mags themselves say 5.56, so my problems may be of my own fault. Either way, I suggest not getting these if you plan on switching between 5.56 and .223 rounds."
5.0 5
"Better than steel mags as they provide grip in wet conditions. These mags fit and feed very well. Bought several more after initial trial run. If they don't feed in your rifle well, don't blame the mag, blame the rifle. Not all rifles take all mags just as not all rifles take all ammo. Find out what your rifle wants and needs. Mine likes these."
2.0 5
"I purchased 10 of these mags, 3 months ago along with some friends, I filled one up- shot flawlessly. But If you leave 30 rounds in them, \"They tend to come popping out the top, the feed lips are too small, I called tapco, they said they were looking into the problem and were aware of it already, They said the Generation Three Mags are being built for there is no problems like these, so I sent them back. Now waiting for the others to arrive. I won't buy these ones again."
5.0 5
"Really nothing bad to say about this magazine! Everything functioned properly without any failure and the TAPCO AR-15 magazine material feels/looks of amazing quality! Thanks CTD!PERFECT FIVE BULLETS!!!"
5.0 5
"Just one word... AWESOME! This mag looks and fits great. Matches my Bushmaster M4 better than the factory mag. Feeds flawlessly. Way to go CTD!"
5.0 5
"I already own one of these magazines and it is flawless. I purchased two more for a friend of mine. These are a must-have item."
5.0 5
"Very nice magazine by Tapco. They're nice, good magazines."
5.0 5
"I bought one of these for my ArmaLite M-15A2 and it performed flawlessly. There were no feed issues. The magazine loaded easily and snapped into the magazine well easily and firmly. It released smoothly when empty and is very solid for a polymer mag. I will be buying several more."
5.0 5
"I bought two, but now wish I'd made it four! Very good quality magazine, looks and performs great. *just a note* I did have to file down the top rib a touch, because they would stick inside of my mag well grip (accessory). Other than that, they work just as well as, or better than, any other polymer mag I've tried. Great deal, CTD!"
5.0 5
"Just got mine in the mail today. I've never owned any polymer mags before so these are a first. My first impression is I love them. I don't know about the weight difference between these and the steel mags. They loaded perfectly and they slide right into the mag well flawlessly. They don't hang up at all and they slide right out when you hit the mag release. The only thing is they are a little fatter than the steel ones, so if you have mag pouches you won't be able to fit as many mags into each pouch. Overall they seem to be a great product. Have not fired with them yet so I cannot say anything about feeding."
5.0 5
"Had this mag for over a year now, and have put hundreds of rounds through it. It's held up great, no misfeeds, no problems w/loading it. The ridges on the mag make it easy to grip. The tapcos are wider than the p-mags and the base is bigger at the bottom, so u might have trouble putting in a mag pouch. As far as looks and price this is a great mag, and has held up very well."
1.0 5
"Just ordered one to try it out. Unable to get more than two rounds fired without a jam in two different rifles. Had several PMAGs and plain steel mags that ran flawlessly in both guns. Maybe just my bad luck, but I won't ever buy one of these again. I'd actually give it 0 bullets if that rating was available."
1.0 5
"Two different JSE uppers on two different New Frontier Armory composite lowers. The finish matched the composite lowers great, but they simply wouldn't feed. Cheap metal mags fed these guns just fine. YMMV, but I'm sending them back for Magpuls."
3.0 5
"I am still debating on this issue, so I'll just put it up here as is. Bought 8 of these, and two have massive feeding issues. I've followed several military friends' advice, and checked the magazine springs. After ensuring that they all were the same length, the two failing magazines continued to under perform. Multiple misfeeds at random instances. I've handed them all off to a friend of mine to see if he can fix them. Otherwise, great buy for what I would use them for. The other six worked like a charm! Ill be trying the ProMags next."

"I bought this mag for my new AR-15 build. For the most part, they work well and the color matches well.Cons: they don't slide in and out of a vest pocket as smoothly as an aluminum mag.On future purchases, I will stick with an aluminum mag."

"Easy to feed and never an issue with jamming. The texture of my rifle's finish does make it kind of hard to insert a composite magazine, but that isn't a problem. It should wear smooth soon"

"I HAVE ABOUT 12. MAYBE 2 WORK PROPERLY. THEY MIFDEED BADLY AND CAUSE A JAM. AFTER LOADING IT, IF YOU TAP THE MAG WRONG IT DISPENSES 1/2 TO 1/4 OF THE ROUNDS LOADED. IN A MAG POUCH, UNTOUCHED, I WILL FIND LOOSE ROUNDS OUT OF ALL OF THEM. TERRIBLE MAG. NEED TO TRY PMAG OR STICK WITH METAL MAGS SINCE I HAVEN'T HAD AN ISSUE WITH THOSE."

"I bought four of these AR mags for my S&W M&P-15, and they work great! I have had no problems with them in the past while using them in my AK-47. These feed well, they fit great with no wobble like other mil-spec mags do, and they're durable and strong. I have dropped them and beat them up and they run just as well as the day I bought them. Would buy again for sure!"

"As expected, it was a little rough to load at first, but is getting better with a little wear. Slips right into the receiver with no problems."

"These function 100% in two different weapons. Only drawback is that for not much more, you can get a PMAG with a dust cover."

"Bought one of these just to try a cheaper version of the PMAG. I had bad feeding problems with this mag and had to keep reinserting the mag. I would definitely pay the extra few dollars to have a good product."

"Definitely worth the few extra dollars for something better. They work fine sometimes, but I would not trust my life to them. The feed lips get weak after a while and start to volcano rounds."

"The TAPCO magazine got the job done when I needed. However, it does not have the same \"feel\" as other magazines that are of higher quality."

"These mags worked just fine in my Bushmaster M4A3. Had no problems with feeding and all mags held all 30 rounds. Can't beat the price either."

"My Bear Creek Arsenal shipped with 2 of these and I bought another 3 to even out the 50rd boxes of ammo and not have to reload every couple mags. Great mag, great price and no issues ever. 1200rds and working great."
