"I was updating my rifle with the magpul ambi sling attachment point. I ordered this wrench and it did not fit my S&W castle nut well at all, was way too tight. I ended up scratching my buffer tube and the castle nut just trying to fit in it. They should make these rubber coated to protect the rifle parts."

"This is the third product from Tapco that I've bought; it is the third that has been crap. Lesson learned. This didn't come close to fitting the castle nut on my S&W M&P15. All it did was scratch the nut and buffer tube. I tried to reshape it with a Dremmel, but I failed. The tabs are not at 0, 90, 180 degrees. They're off a bit."

"I was a little hesitant after reading the other reviews, but for eight bucks, I figured I'd give it a try. It came quick as usual with CTD great shipping, and it fit right in the grooves for my Bushmaster A3, applied a little elbow grease and the nut came loose. Great tool for the price. Thanks CTD!"

"I had the same issue Cade described. The tabs are not at 0-90-180 degrees and won't even come close to working. My mistake for thinking Tapco could make a working product. Thumbs up to CTD though for immediately sending me a replacement. Lets hope the new one fits. Cheaper Than Dirt gets 5 Bullets here."

"The wrench I received worked just fine. Nice, snug fit on my ATI buffer tube and castle nut. No slippage and the teeth were properly placed. And as always, exceptionally fast shipping from CTD."

"My wrench worked perfectly on my Bushmaster MOE version. A must have."

"Worked great to take off my castle nut, but after installing the Magpul ASAP, there was just barely enough room to fit the wrench where it needed to be to tighten it. If you have or plan to install the ASAP plate, try to find a 2 point wrench. Other than that, it's a great tool for the price."

"This is a simple product that simply doesn't work well, but it does barely fit the castle nuts barely...... Tapco needs to improve on their wrench."

"If your going to work on the DPMS buy the DPMS tool. I will next time. The stock wrench is not quite right. It worked, but you need to be extra carful or you can scratch the finish."
