TAPCO's windage and elevation tool was originally designed on request by Special Forces deployed over seas, but is available to the public today. Use this adjustment tool to help keep your AK or SKS style rifle shots on target. This heavy duty tool is crafted from 4140 steel to enable it to withstand the rigors of combat.

Once clamped onto your front sight, the compression from the screw pushes your front sight post either left or right to adjust for windage. To adjust for elevation, the non-threaded end of the screw is formed to fit over the post itself, and then turned to raise or lower the post.

"This is DEFINITELY the better choice. The other one on the site is cheaply made. This is very sturdy and has a deep thread cut so you are sure not to over exert it. This allows for windage and elevation adjustments in one little package. Def worth the price."

"I used this on my Saiga 7.62 rifle. I did what the package recommended and used a punch set in order to loosen the front sight, and it worked well for a while. Around my 5th or 6th adjustment the elevation part of the tool broke. I would say get the cheaper one, cause either way it'll break but at least you'll pay less."

"Gets the job done...point blank (literally)! My WASR was WAY off site out of the box. This tool had it sighted on the mark within about 10 minutes! Nothing fancy about this tool but it definitely is a necessity! Excellent product!"

"I got one of these for my wasr and it has served me well. Nothing broke despite the pressure I have applied. The portion to twist it did hurt my hand while adjusting, but with extra lubing of the sights and a couple mags on both sides I was able to adjust it. Would have given it 5 bullets if the handles were longer and wider."

"I bought this tool because like many other people if you own a ak-47 draco its sights on a lot of occasions are slightly off center. This tool work great and didnt break, but be advised you cant turn it by hand for windage at least on my draco, it was way too tight. I sprayed the all powerful wd-40 on it then used a set of pliers to turn but it worked. Just be aware that when you are putting the tool on the front sight to adjust for windage make sure you got the opening on the end of the vice perfectly centered because if you dont you will basically be working against your self because it wont move."

"Total junk, elevation tool tips broke. This also won't move my windage post either."

"Used this on my WASR 10/63. Used it to remove the old site and push out the sight block and install the new one. Used it to adjust windage at the range. Had no problems and didn't seem like it was even close to breaking. The tool seems solid to me."

"Can't go wrong with this tool. Sighted in my WASR-10 and SKS with a laser bore sighter at 100 yrds. Took it to the range - perfect! If you have trouble with tightness or lack of movement on your sights, you need Remington Rem-Oil from CTD! Wipe off your cosmoline and like a pretty girl's hair, rinse and repeat. If you know what you're doing, you can sight it in under 5 minutes. Thanks CTD!"

"I gust used this on my AK-47 and it moved my windage and elevation with some difficulty because they haven't been moved for a long time. But after I broke through the rust, it moved with ease."

"Works exactly like it should. I've used it on Saiga AKs, WASR-10, Norinco SKS, Yugo SKS, and a couple other surplus AKs. Never had an issue with it. The people who complain about it breaking are using it incorrectly or they don't seem to realize that old sights on old guns that have been stored a long time may need to be heated with a propane torch or sprayed with some penetrating oil first. It works well and is made well."

"Worked exactly as advertised. The sight of thw wasr 10/63 was shipped to me being way off to the left, and I couldn't get it to move with anything I had at home. This little tool got everything squared away, and will allow the finer adjustments when I take it to the range."

"This worked great on my WASR 10/63. Very solid tool that everyone with a AK or SKS type rifle needs. Had no issues using it to correct the front site windage adjustment."

"In the past I have had to use Kentucky aim point when shooting. Now I can make changes at the range."

"This tool is the ultimate. Once I zeroed the open sights in using this I can finally hit target with my SKS. Whooftah!"
