"The pistol grip looks just like a thompson smg grip! Other than that its huge and hard to hold on to. It is difficult to install on my mosseberg 500,It took me a good hour to install. But that dosent mean its bad for remingtons and winchesters. Tschus, Heinrich"

"This is a great accessory! It took less than 5 minutes to install and is not in the least clumsy or difficult to hold onto, even for my wife. I would recommend this product to anyone."

"I ordered this foregrip for one of my shotguns and had no problems installing it. in fact it was one of the fastest and easiest cosmetic changes I've done yet. great item"

"I like this grip. It makes the weapon alot more comfortable, but there are times that I regret putting it on, like when my short armed girlfriend wants to shoot it. Also, it is not designed for mossberg maverics, but it can be forced to fit."

"After I installed the TAC STAR Pistol grip and how good it felt, I just had to put the Front Vertical Grip on my Mossberg 500. With a few extra parts makes the perfect home defense weapon."

"Hi,This works better than great, I own a MossBurg 500A with a 7 1\\4 front grip. This TAC STAR front vertical grip comes ready to install right out of the box and with all the hardware/info. i really liked that it came with an adapter ring so it fits the old Mossburgs, It will fit the 500/590s. When installed you can hardly tell it has an adapter. i like the 3'magnums, so i recomend the Shotgun Front Slip-On grip (item#32034). Over all it looks AWESOME!!!! Shootings more 12Ga.Mags is easer and no sore mussles, hands and arms with thease GREAT ADD ONs. thank You C.T.D Next is the flip over rear stock< Ill let you know about it when i do."

"I installed this in about 10 mins on my Mossberg 500 8 shot Crusader while I was sitting on the toilet. Very easy to do. After putting barrell on grip was hard to slide. Found top of back part of grip to tight against barrell. Took barrell back off and shaved a little of the top of the grip near the back with my knive and reinstalled the barrell. Works great now. Grip is a little big and have to get use to holding it but shotgun looks badass."

"I bought this fro grip for my Mossberg 500. I read the other reviews and it sounded like this was the product for me. When attempting to install it, I found that the grip would not slid on over the metal sleeve like the stock forearm grim does. I tried to spread it apart, but the plastic is way too rigid for that. After stewing over it for 10 minutes I found that It would fit if I threaded it onto the fine end threads that hold the fore grip on. The threads cut their own path in the softer plastic and slowly but surely I worked it onto the gun and after about 300 or so turns I got it all the way on. Once it was on It works fine and I look forward to trying it out this weekend."

"This isnt a bad fore end grip at all. Took me about 15-20 mintues to put on, but i did have to dis-assemble my shotgun to do it. It says on the front of the package that it may not work on models made after 2006 as they have a built in fore-end, and at first I thought that had happened to me. Turns out i just had to unscrew some thingy-mabob up at the front of the fore end already on, and it slid right off, they provided the tool to do this. It works great, only complaint is that it wobbles from left to right just alittle, barely noticeable however. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to install a verticle grip on their Mossberg 500, the price was pretty nice too, about $5 cheaper then most other places on the net, thanks again CTD!"

"If you want a fashion accessory for your shotgun, purchase this item. If you want something functional, you'd be better off getting a picatinny rail forend and a vertical \"broomhandle\" type front grip. This is the most uncomfortable grip I've ever used. It places your arms and wrist at an awkward and unnatural angle while firing and working the action, and if you don't have massive hands it is like holding the fat end of a baseball bat. Luckily I didn't have to buy one to find all this out, I found one in the back of my police cruiser years ago (no one ever claimed it, go figure)."

"i got it in the mail 3 days early it took like 30 min to put it on but it looks great om my Mossberg 500 rolling thunder and it works well its a bit loose but that's ok. great buy thanks CTD."

"On my Mossberg 500A. I dont have a stock on it just pistol grip. Made the barrel flip lot more controlable. It is kinda big to handle, but fit snug. And took about 20 mins to install. I would recommend it especially if you don't have a stock on yours."

"The TAC STAR front vertical grip is great for the price. It takes a little bit of effort to get it onto the forend sleeve but a bit of gun oil, a rag to grip the sleeve, and a little patience gets the job done. In order to get it fully seated the forend nut must be used to pull it into place. The grip itself is a little large for the average person, however, after time it begins to feel quiet comfortable. The directions can cause a little fear that you have ordered the wrong grip (mostly the sticker on the front of the package) but don't worry, I recently installed this grip on a Mossberg 500 Persuader(Cruiser) which is brand new and it works just fine. If there are two small notches on the forend (on the side closest to the end of the barrel) and you have two flat control arms running on either side of the magazine that connect to a larger metal bracket, chances are you have a sleeve under the plastic cover and there is no need to worry. Though, some modles have the same arm set up, but they won't have the two groove cut into the front of the forend, which means they are a solid piece design and this grip will not work with them. If you can't tell from a fully assembled inspection, take a few minuets and pull it apart. Once you have the forend off you can easily tell wheather or not you have a cover and save yourself the panic I expereinced when receiving the grip."

"I have a brand new 500 Moss JIC I bought this for. Would not recommend for somebody without a dremel. It is possible with a file, but I did actually did remove quite a bit of material and then pounded it on w/ a rubber mallet. It fits good and snug now. It all locks up tight and gives my Moss a second pistol grip that makes it look real sick w/ the heat shield I also bought w/ it! Would recommend even inspite of all the needed modification- it is pretty much universal...... Still giving it 5 bullets as it is great and well worth the $ I spent on it. Plus I got it the next day after ordering it. Thanks CTD!!!"

"I was never planning on ordering a pistol grip forend. I have had my 870 since 1993 (I was 13) and have fired so many rounds of skeet with the factory forend that I thought I would have trouble adjusting to any change. Well, I bought an O/U for skeet and field, so I tactical-ized my 870. After adding a Tac-Star 6 round side-saddle, I found that even after notching the forend to clear the shell holder, I would still painfully hit my wrist on the saddle when shucking the action. So, I bought one of these pistol grip forends. After mounting it, I was immediately impressed with the feel. It fit right on without any fuss, and all I had to do was remove a little plastic from the top of the grip sleeve where it was contacting the barrel whenever I worked the action. It was very minor, and would certainly have worn itself to fit with a little time anyway. Also, the plastic is plenty thick enough and strong enough to screw on a picatinny rail. So, I put some rail on my grip, and mounted a tactical light. The only drawback I can see is that when loading the breech underhand, it is a little bit slower to grab the grip than just come foward and grip a standard horizontal forend. A small tradeoff for an enhanced level of control of the front of the shotgun. This grip would also make it harder for someone to pull the gun away from you in close quarters. Also, the grip is pretty large. Larger than is probably necessary, however I have large hands and it in no way is overly cumbersome. Shooters with smaller hands may find it a little hard to grasp. Overall, and excellent product."

"I have this on my Mossberg 500. The pistol grip it makes the gun a lot more manageable. I have one gun with the grip and one without, with it the gun is easier to shoot."

"The grip was rather tight and a pain to get on. It's a bit large, larger than I'd prefer, but it's not necessarily \"bad,\" and you get accustomed to it quickly. The only thing I really don't like is the excessive amount of wobble from left to right. It probably sways about a full inch at the very bottom of the grip. (Noticeably more than the factory grip for sure.)I guess I'm just used to my AR-15; everything is snug and firmly attached. All in all, I prefer the feel of a vertical grip to the standard horizontal fore-end. I don't like the wobble though."

"this protuct came 4 days after i ordered it... good thing it did cause i was getting impatiant. its overall a great forend to have on your shotgun. i installed it on my mossberg 500 and i dont intend on taking it off for a while, instalation was i piece of cake, it fit great and allows for more control over your shotgun... great product and i would recomend to anyone with a mossberg 500 or 590!!! have fun and thanks cheaper than dirt!"

"This grip is great on my 500! Went on with absolutely ZERO problems! I dont have any movement either like some other people said. Yes, it is quite big, but that is perfectly fine because I also have large hands. It adds a significant amount of control to my shotgun, and paired up with the Knoxx NRS stock, I just can't get over the looks! I am very happy!"

"This foregrip gives great control with my Mossy 500. Gives a lot of support to aimed shots with rear pistol grip setup. I opted not to use a buttstock for CQC, but this grip helps a lot for when I need to raise up and aim for a shot. The grip is quite large but it's made solidly and fit well. I had to shave part of the top of it down to make it fit smoothly, but it cycles the action just fine now. It helps with follow up shots greatly."

"I read the other reviews about the grip being a little loose. It is. There is too much left and right play. But, it looks cool and is worth the price."

"Got this for a 500a, the fit is tight it rubs against the barrel near the receiver making the action stiff but after a few rounds it rubbed itself down and works great now. The only thing I don\uFFFDt like about it is that it wobbles side to side, but so did the factory fore end on my 500."

"I had to dremel the heck out of mine but I love this thing sooo much had to buy the tool to put it on all in all no regrets!"

"I read a lot of reviews about how bulky this grip is and how it had to be customized. I have to say it is bulky but still very comfortable. As for the installation it took me about two minutes tops and I didn't have to dremel anything out on my 500. A rear pistol grip is fun but a forend pistol grip is a must have. I should have done this years ago."

"No modifications to my Mossberg 500. Fast installation, and it adds a lot of stability to the rear pistol grip. A must for a home defense shotgun."

"Fit perfect on my Mossberg 500, took about 5 min. to install. A little bigger than expected but not bad at all and a little wobble but the same amount from the factory foregrip. Feels good and looks good can't wait to go shoot."

"I bought this grip for my Maverick 88, even though on the packaging it says \"not for Mavericks\". It installed fast and easy! Just had to apply some force when sliding it on to fit over the tube assembly, but it feels great in my hand, and adds more stability. Very good item, and addition to my home defense cannon. 5 bullets hands down."

"It was a pain to install. Much tighter going on then the factory forend coming off. Had to force the sides apart and inch it on the forend tube. Other than that it's perfect for my Persuader-500. Better muzzle control and sure to help with recoil once I take it to the range."

"Bought this for my mossberg 500, once it came in it was the easiest thing i have ever installed on a gun. Very cheap and very cool. Only thing to be noted is that if you have small hands, this product may not be for you. Large grip, but all in all very good purchase, very pleased. Also a word of thanks, this product does come with a tool to install the nut that holds the grip on. Very good job TAC STAR!!!!"

"This grip really adds a great deal of control and mobility to any pistol gripped shotgun. While its true that there is a little wiggle on either side, the factory pump-grip had the same give with less control. It installed with minimal effort in about 30 min. with the right tools. Also it allows you to hold your shotgun closer to your body with more comfort. My only gripe was that it kills your thumb if you put more than a box of shells through your scatter gun in a sitting. But it is made for a 12 gauge shotgun, that amount of force all put into your palm is bound to do some damage."

"Just installed this on my Mossberg 500 Cruiser. It fits nice and snug with the same amount of left and right play as the stock forend. It's on the larger side of grips but not to the point where it's uncomfortable. Makes it feel more durable. Removing the stock forend was brutal but putting this one on was very simple. Great product."

"I love it, it fits my Mossberg 500 perfect! It takes some of the recoil off the pistol grip but it will fit the Maverick 88 if u order a action slide double."

"This forearm grip is pretty cool. Fits great if you have big hands like myself, but of course never taking apart a shotgun before, I turned a 30 min project into a 3 hour one thinking I was going to have to take my Mossie 500 to a gunsmith to put it all back together though. If you need help applying it, look to your gun manual or Youtube."

"Bought this for my Maverick 88 12 gauge after slide tube mod. This grip fits nice & tight. I was skeptical of it's feel under fire, but it is great. It is a nice forend pistol grip to have."

"This grip is made well and fits my Mossberg 500 well, but it was a little loose for my liking. Overall, however, a decent product."
