"This is a great knife in my opinion cut through a 4 inch branch in no time, just need to buy another."

"A very nice knife. Better than I expected for the price. Normally knives at this price, the blade would wobble. This one is solid."

"Awesome knife. The blade is thick and solid in the handle, and the sheath is very secure. Great buy."

"I bought two of these. Glad I did because after seeing this knife when it came to my house I would have definitely bought another. Did not expect this nice and heavy duty a knife at this price. Maybe at three times this price, its that nice. The picture doesnt do it justice! Theres a cool little compartment just behind the blade that they dont even mention, looks like its perfectly made to hold four triple A batteries. Dont know if thats what its intended for but it works. Very heavy duty case, and the blade is huge. Way better than what the picture looks like. If youre thinking about getting one, do like me and get two! Or you'll have to place another order!"

"A great knife for the money, very solid. I was surprised how well this knife is made. Every other survival knife I have was kind of wobbly, but not this one. The survival kit leaves alot to be desired, but it is definitely worth the price."

"I received mine today and am surprised. The blade is fairly sharp & usable as-is but mine will get a little work. The saw back is indeed very aggressive, but if you ever need to sharpen it you'll need a chain saw file. The hilt is an Aluminum (?) alloy, with knurled grip surface. The upper guard is well designed, but the lower guard could stand to be extended another 3/8 inch or so. If you're serious about caring this knife take it to a hardware store and have them match the roll-pin that holds the tang to the hilt. Have them show you how to repair it if you don't know how and get 4 or 5 extra pins. Mine looks a little cheap and like it wouldn't take too much of a beating without coming loose - we'll see. I may use a solid stainless steel drift pin to replace mine. The hilt compartment is adequate and the convenient plastic tube is thoughtfully stored with a spring so the tube will come out without a fight. Mine includes 4 matches, striker strip (you can afford to get a box of strike anywhere matches and dump the strip), one adhesive bandage for first aide (I suppose that'll pass for first aide in a survival situation at the mall), one #6 or 8 fishhook, and about 30 feet of what looks to be 8 lb. monofiliment. Add a couple of hooks, some Spiderwire and a cork or two and maybe a cotton ball for tinder. The hilt does have a lanyard run through an in-built hole so you won't have to worry about those stupid chromed split rings. The sheath surprised me as well but I did have to make one repair already. The sheath is wrapped with black nylon cord which would really come in handy. I plan on adding another layer with 550 paracord. There's a leg tie included also with a funny little clip that I don't particularly care for but I'll try it out. There is a handy little compartment in the sheath that is molded to hold 4 rifle rounds. 7.62x39 and .222 Rem Mag fit well, but forget 30-06. Those are about an inch too long. The cap for this compartment is attached to a piece of we...."

"Got this knife in the mail today... walked over to a branch in my yard and hit the branch maybe ten times and surprisingly the knife did great at chopping.. but I quickly realized that after chopping the branch the handle is now extremely loose and the whole blade is just rattling around inside the handle."

"I got this knife a few days ago. I havent used really for anything but it deoes seem to be sturdy for the price. The only thing i don't like about it is the handle. It doesn't grip the hand well and if you tend to have sweaty hands like me; it could become a saftey hazard for those around you. Electrical tape will solve the grip part. The other part of it is that the grip isn't comfartable. Where your pinky sits can make feel uncomfortable. Other than the handle it seems to be well worth the price."

"I bought this knife with the intentions of putting it into my B.O.B, I was skeptical at first with the price but this thing is pretty solid. It is much bigger than what I expected. Almost too big, but 5 bullets for the quality."
