With the press of a fingertip, your view is illuminated with 600 lumens of blinding white light. Unlike most of the SureFire WeaponLights which use a TIR lens, the Fury Scout uses the same Fury head and the top-selling Fury flashlights, producing a wider reflector-shaped beam with increased surround light to help you maintain situational awareness. Light and compact, it attaches to your weapon's Picatinny rail, and won't impact weapon maneuverability.

The Fury Scout offers two methods of activation, a pushbutton tailcap switch, and a momentary-on pressure switch with 7" cable. The swing-lever mount allows you to quickly mount or detach the light even on out-of-spec rails.

"Took a chance on this surefire product. Figured a good majority of the weapon light community can't be wrong about Surefire. Out of box, turn out (it comes attached with the remote switch) went into the basement and started spotting around the room, the light was NOT as bright as I would've hoped it would have been. Put it up next to my TLR-2 HL and the Stream killed it, in beam spread, lumen output, and clarity of beam. And it was more expensive than my Streamlight. Not a good buy in my opinion in a vs. Type situation, the Surefire is not as bright, not as clear, takes a lot of rail space, and if if you are worrying about your budget, the surefire is more expensive than its competitors. All in all, streamlight is weapon light king."
