"This item is ok but it has a few draw backs.1. Loading the striper clips is a difficult and time consuming task, mostly because of the tension it is hard to slide the shells down the length of the clip and when loaded the shells on the end have a tendency to tip out and fall off.2. when you go to insert the clip into your rifle it is difficult to push the shells downward into the magazine, also it is hard to remove the empty clip from the action. And so in my opinion I'd say that this product has it's place but for my self a shell belt and loading the shells one by one will do."

"As they arrive, they're tight and hard to use. Work with them a little bit, and they loosen up and work much better. You just need to run a used casing back and forth in them until it moves smoothly."

"Would you belive it! I recived my stripper's in the mail this afternoon and after inspecting all ten of them...two clips are original TULA FACTORY clips!!! On the inner side of these two clips there is that wonderful star and arrow! Sadly the remaining eight had not markings other than wear. Too bad, talk about having a great find if all ten were from Tula! The function of the clips is good, no rust or corrosion. Just the wear and tear marks. And some do come tight so make sure you run a round through the stripper a dozen times to widen it up a bit. A great addition to any Mosin Nagant rifle, they will not be around forever so get them while they are around! Also remember! If you have the ATI scope mount installed on your reciver...guess what...the clips will not feed due to your scope being in the way. But for all of us hunter's out there who like to take our Mosin Nagant's out chasing Elk, Deer, and everything else...they do a great gob of keeping your spare ammo silent while in the backbpack, pouch, or pocket, while on the move in the bush.Great clips! And as always Great Job CTD!!!!"

"All ten of these new stripper clips worked well with my rifles. They were all marked with the triangle in circle stamping. Very convenient to store ammo and use and handle easily. Good buy. Thanks CTD, Deckman59"

"These are great stripper clips, I bought them and stored all my surplus ammo on them rather than those little wax paper bundles that rip open in storage. I can reload very quickly and without fumbling around with individual rounds."

"These are really nice! All of mine were made by Tikkakoski Oy, (Finland), post 1936. \"T in a triangle in a circle\" logo. I'm gonna have to buy more! Much better than the new production junk you see on Ebay and other sites."

"Perhaps I had a bad experience, but when I went to try to use these stripper clips in my Nagant Carbine, I found it impossible to actually load ammo with the clips. Maybe my rifle's stripper clip guides need to be fixed, but I found that the stripper clips never even come close to where you would expect them to be in order for you to press down and load the ammo. They work very well though for holding loose ammo, but in my case, I find little else use for them."

"these are great the one i ordered are very easy toload and insert into my mosin nagant"

"Mosin Nagant stripper clips. The clips purchased from this company are totally worthless for use with my rifle. Cartridges cannot be inserted in the rifle."
1.0 5
"I got these clips, hoping I would be able to load my Nagant faster (silly bolt actions anyway...) It held ammo alright, maybe slightly loosely but that's alright., I can deal with that. However, I tried using the clips to load my rifle to no avail, I have absolutely no idea what the problem might be but it doesn't seem like the stripper clip is coming into contact with the loading spring. I dunno, this is just one thing that let me down, least I have somewhere to p ut loose rounds."

"When I first received the clips mine were all in excellent shape but very tight when loading. For this reason, they did not strip well though they fit perfectly in my Polish M44.After bending the sides of the clips out a bit to reduce tension on the brass and SLIGHTLY bending the small fingers on the ends out, they work like a charm. Loading is very easy as long as you push down on the back of the rouonds next to the clip. Pushing on the middle section causes them to angle toward the magazine and they will not easily leave the clip. The clips performed as I expected and since they were in good condition, I give it 4 bullets. What can you really expect from a thin sheet of stamped metal?"

"it worked fine with my mosin your probly didnt load the ammo right"
1.0 5
"These do not fit my war time production M44 model. They are just about a 16th of an inch too wide."
2.0 5
"I ordered these a few weeks ago. First off, half of the strippers were very hard to load the bullets onto. Then when I would go to put them in the gun, it would take double the time to do than just loading the bullets one at a time. I then ordered some brass stripper clips off ebay and they worked awesome. If you are going to get these strippers, make sure you Take some pliers and bend off the little tabs in the middle of the ends of the strippers, if that makes sense. I give it two stars because it can work, but it's not worth the effort. BUY BRASS STRIPPER CLIPS!"

"Its funny reading all these low rating reviews. I bought a pack for my M1891/30 becauseI figured that you guys aren't apparently using the right loading technique and they work just fine. Since I only bought 1 pack I can't say how good constant product quality is, but the pack I got, load and look fine."
5.0 5
"I just these today and when I opened the package, I noticed that all ten of my stripper clips came from the ORIGINAL TULA FACTORY!They load my M44 just fine, smooth as butter. I'm probably going to buy more."
3.0 5
"The clips came in a sealed bag with Tula arsenal markings on them, this made me think that they would work perfectly in my 91/30 and M44. But, like all the other remakes, they are hard to load bullets into and did not work at all in either of my guns until I filed on some of the inner and outer edges, and cut some of the top off until they resembled my Kar98 stripper clips. Because of the arsenal markings I would suggest buying some for historical purposes but I would recomend copper clips for actual use."

"From the reviews, I decided just to pick these up on the off chance that they would fit, assuming I could sand or grind them down to fit if necessary. They just came in the mail and the first one I pulled out of the bag fits into the stripper groove on my 1944 Izzy M91/30 like it was made for it. It's a LITTLE stiff at first, because I wasn't sure how far down the clip is supposed to fit into the groove. It doesn't go far. Also, pushing down on the rounds is a little stiff, but if you picture yourself a scared 20 yr old Soviet private with shells exploding all around you, it's not hard to picture them going in pretty easily.Pushing in a full 5 rds seemed to cause the bolt to have trouble actually CHAMBERING the 5th round. When the bolt face contacted the rear of the cartridge, it actually tried to drive it downwards. This could be a result of issues with my magazine spring plate, or the rounds used (S&B 180gr SP) or the actual stripper clip.Secondly, it fit in my 1944 Izzy M44 EVEN BETTER. The receiver of my M44 is in better condition than the M91/30, always has been. The rounds slipped off the stripper clip into the magazine well very smoothly. This leads me to believe that others' trouble loading rounds off the stripper clips is a function of their rifles' condition. Excellent condition/rearsenalled rifles might accept the rounds off the clip a little smoother. In addition, mine had what appears to be an arsenal stamp on the back side in the center, and opposite that on the inside where the cartridge rear sits.If these were made in Tula or Izzy that makes them even cooler."

"these are great clips but the only problem is if you try to use steel cased ammo it doesent load very well with it. but if you are using brass cased ammo like bulgarion or new production they work fine."
4.0 5
"I have used these clips before. No problems. Just make sure that you know how to load without them when under pressure. Practice makes perfect, clip or no clip! I say this knowing that nothing is absolute, and many of you who have had problems may in deed have a high level of experience and know what you are saying in earnest, but aside from that I must say one must know his weapon. There are differences, even with a weapon that is mass produced, and assuming everything is flawless or at least universal among all models of manufacture may be a mistake. 91/30's, though very much the same, are very much different. I have these clips. I hand load most of the time. I want to be as fast as I can without any help."
3.0 5
"These were a little tight, but they fit my 91/30 Izzy with no problem and fed with no problem. I see alot of reviews where people say they can't get them to load. There is a technique to using these stripper clips. A brief search online will turn up tutorials on how to use them."
5.0 5
"They all fit and load my 38' Tula Mosin Nagant. The one's I got are Finnish made. In terms of fitting into the guide some are a little snug and some drop right in but all of them will load my rifle. I only ordered one package so constant product quality is something I can't tell you, but the one's I got work."
1.0 5
"i got them for my m91/30 and only one out of ten worked."
5.0 5
"I bought 2 packs of these and was pleasantly suprized that all of them were from tula! They were all shiney and a great buy anyways!"
3.0 5
"When I first got mine, I thought they were complete garbage....after a bit of study, I found that bending the middle tab out a little bit with pliers helps...also, grabbing the top cartridge and using it as a \"handle\" to force down the others by applying pressure nearest the rim helps...it still takes a bit of force, and it takes practice to get the procedure down....2 of my 10 were hopeless, the stamp was too far out of whack to correct."
4.0 5
"I recently received my package of strippers. They have a \"T\" in an upsidedown triangle which is apparently the Tikkakoski Finnish Arsenal. They had a slight oxidation (no big deal) and had definitely seen some cartridge action. I tried a few out and had no hangups. I too prefer the \"lift'N'push\" technique. The quality may be a bit hit and miss but they seem to be genuine milsurp and go along well with the ol' mosin."
4.0 5
"Unless you have the IQ of a cabbage, you will find these work a lot better than the single round ay a time method. No guesswork. The cartridges are positioned perfectly for feeding with no jams."
4.0 5
"After reading the reviews I was skeptical but gave them a try. At first I couldn't get them to work at all, but I swabbed the inside of them with CLP to slick them up a bit and it worked like a charm! Just clean them once get them and give them a light coat of lube on the inside where they rub and they work great!"
2.0 5
"These are ok. Most of the stripper clips in the batch needed to be bent to feed correctly. For this price this is a rip-off."
4.0 5
"I do not know what the problem was for everyone else, mine fit great and improved reloading by 5."
5.0 5
"The clips I received are like new, and ready for service. They work exactly like they should.... a good deal."
5.0 5
"I've bought several different type of stripper clips for the Mosin Nagant and these seem to work better than the others I've tried. They are configured most closely to the original Soviet version and do a good job of holding the rounds and guiding them into the magazine."
5.0 5
"I have seen entries where the recommendation is to use some lube on the friction points. I agree, I use from my black powder supplies, some bore butter case lube, lightly on the inside of the clips where the rounds would tend to bind. Also, when loading push down on the rear of the rounds and try to keep the clip straight-takes a little practice but once mastered, you're as good as Ivan on the Eastern front! Just keep trying, it will work."
5.0 5
"These clips arrived clean and grease-free. They work fine in my 91/30--they just need some percussive maintenance to get the rounds in. I generally use Bulgarian light ball 149 grain. I'm sure that smacking and jiggling the clips were in recruit training for the Red Army, but maybe it works better with Russian swear-words. All in all, quite handy and I definitely recommend."
5.0 5
"Ordered Sunday night, also ordered ammo for my AK, but seeing as I live in the socialist state of Illinois I had to fax CTD a copy of my license and FOID card, despite this they still arrived in three days, and thus far seem to work fine, had to take a Leatherman and tighten a few up a bit, but for the price I would definitely recommend."
2.0 5
"5 of the stripper clips I received worked as they were. The other 5 were trouble. 3 of them I managed to get to feed ammo properly with some bending and pliers, but 2 of them were so warped they couldn't be recovered. At least I got 8 to work, that means 2 20 round packs of my ammo at a time, but I paid for 10 that would work as-is, not with an hour of work bending them.CTD is good, but they should not be selling these as they are. Maybe by labeling them as damaged or used at best it would be better, but the price needs to go down before I buy anymore from here."
5.0 5
"These were just as described. yes they were a bit worn, yes they needed a bit of \"fine tuning\" but all in all a great product. not the best price around, but i was ordering multiple items and i saved on shipping, as always CTD came through with quick shipping and great service. will be ordering more of these and other things in the near future!"
4.0 5
"My clips are all good and work fine. I've read other reviews of bent or non-functioning clips but all 40 I've ordered work fine. You do have to practice a little bit. The only thing I can say is that they should be even cheaper, it's just a piece of metal. I will order more and recommend anyone to do the same."
5.0 5
"Part 1 Of ReviewInitial inspection of these clips revealed a product I thought was just brand new reproductions. Upon further inspection, these are the genuine thing fresh from the Tula armory. You can tell they have been used due to the gunpowder residue on the inside, and the whole clip is in better than new condition. I will write a followup review when I get some range time as I think my rifle just came in today. This was my first order from CTD, thanks for the faster than expected shipping, and amazing product!!"

"I got the clips yesterday. I was very happy to find out I got real Finnish Tikkakoski clips! (T in triangle). You need to practice before going to the range. It took me about 10-15 clips to master the task :)Pay your attention to the angle of the clip , keep it close to 90 degrees when you start pushing rounds in. Lift the upper bullet with your 2d finger and push the shell with your thumb. If you don't lift the bullet you won't be able to move rounds at all.I found that light lubrication with WD 40 could help. You can squeeze or spread the clips a little but don't make them too loose. DO NOT TRUST PEOPLE WHO SAY CLIPS DOESN'T WORK! Just be patient and practice. It will work like a charm."

"Did not feed in my friend's 91/30 Nagant."
5.0 5
"These stripper clips work perfectly with every brand of ammo I've tried exempt for Wolf. Wolf brand ammo gives a huge fight to get out of these clips, appears to be issue with ammo, but this product works great."
4.0 5
"These clips make loading a Mosin a lot more effective than loading each round with your fingers, good stuff will get some more later."
4.0 5
"Quick shipping, got mine in about 3 days using slowest shipping method. Clips work as advertised. Able to consistently load all 5 rounds in one push with the clip popping out of the way with a cool metallic ring after a few tries to perfect my technique."
2.0 5
"Bought these for my new Tula Nagant 91/30. I must say, I can't get any of them to work at all. Despite everyone else on here assuring me that it was just my technique, I felt that the clips were very flimsy and the bullets didn't sit in them well. Some clips, the bullets rattled around. Others were hard to get in. Keep in mind, each rifle and clip is different so some may work and others may not. Some fit snugly in the stripper clip guide and others didn't fit at all."
5.0 5
"Stripper clips aren't rocket science - they're basically tin holders to make it easier to load your Mosin Nagant. I have a 1943 Izzy 91/30 and these clips work great in my rifle. I tried all 10 clips out of the box and each one performed flawlessly, the first time."
5.0 5
"I couldn't make them work at all until I watched a youtube video of someone who knew what they were doing. All of mine worked just fine and I will buy more soon."
5.0 5
"Just received these clips in the mail prompt shipping and delivery times as usual. These clips are simply great 10/10 work fine in my 1934 M91/30 with various types of ammo (brass and steel). They all feed fine with very few hang-ups while loading the gun they require some force to work but you have to break them in for them to work smoothly. My advice to future buyers and people who have problems with them is work them through with some gun oil and clean them up so they are slick and the rounds will feed just fine. The clips themselves are not cheap reproductions but they are original clips with mixed origins they are of excellent quality and are in great condition with a slight patina showing they are indeed original clips. All in all they are great quality for the price they work well and these are a great way to quickly load your Mosin Nagant rifle. Good clips are hard to come by now a days, buy these and never let go of them. Thanks CTD, these are great as usual."
4.0 5
"These worked great! Some say that they cut themselves on them, but all the edges are rolled in, and they hold their five rounds great! The bullets get a bit sloppy inside, but don't fall out. With a little practice, I can load my rifle faster that putting in one round at a time. The come in a 10 pack, which allows you to hold 50 rounds on clips, and you can put all the clips in 4 ammo pouches (you know, the ones that should have come with the rifle). With 50 rounds ready to roll, it's kinda nice."
5.0 5
"These clips are great! I had absolutely no trouble using them the first time out and haven't had any trouble since then. Much more convenient than loading one round at a time. Just lift up slightly on the top round and push down on the back and they load in nicely."
5.0 5
"I recieved these the day after I ordered them, as I do with nearly all my CTD orders. 10/10 It worked perfectly. Some were a little tight, but after running a round through them back and forth, they were fine. I highly recommend these to any Nagant owner as they make reloading the weapon much easier. Excellent job once again, CTD!"
5.0 5
"What can you say about a bendy piece of metal that you put bullets in? They work, I'm happy."
3.0 5
"5 out of the 10 worked perfectly. The other 5 were either way too tight or too loose."
5.0 5
"i bought a pack of these late on a monday night (like 10:00pm) and recieved them early thursday morning using the cheapest shipping method, which was great. The clips were exactly as pictured and functioned wonderfully the first loading. They were tight enough to hold the rounds securely and just loose enough to feed the rounds into the magazine with my thumb and forefinger. They look and feel almost identical to my 1950's Tula arsenal produced stripper clips and function just a little better (and my originals worked awesome, so im in complete awe!). Thanks, CTD."
5.0 5
"These worked great in my 91/30. All 10 of them load up and fed into the rifle flawlessly. Highly recommend."
4.0 5
"Great Buy! I couldn't find these anywhere. Only 1 was FUBAR, and it was nothing that I couldn't fix (as in it works now). I can guarantee that the people giving this a bad rating are using wrong technique. I have two Mosin-Nagants (An M38 and 91/30) and I am glad to have these now. BUY IT!"
5.0 5
"Good stripper cilps. Not one problem loading in my Mosin 91-30. I will buy more before all are gone. Thanks, Cheaper Than Dirt."
5.0 5
"I ordered this this past Sunday night @ midnight and received them Tuesday afternoon even with 3-5 day shipping. But as for the stripper clips they are just what I needed and are made for the leather bandoleers that came with my Mosin Nagant 91-30. They slide perfectly into my mosin and at first they were tight but running rounds through them a few times fixed them all. I am extremely satisfied and keep up with the great products CTD."
5.0 5
"The clips got here fast, and all of them work great! some needed a little tweaking, and oil; but after running a few rounds threw them they all got smoothed out real quick. Very satisfied with the order."
5.0 5
"100% of mine were in Like new condition. All functioned flawlessly, I was able to get in 50 trouble free rounds my first day with these."
4.0 5
"They do what they were designed to do."
3.0 5
"Bought some of these to compare to the simpler types sold at Gunparts and these work just as well. Some have some light dirt on them but they all have the Tula arsenal markings. The retainer tabs on the ends don't really do anything but bother your fingers. On the other hand, there's nothing really wrong with them either."
5.0 5
"These work great, original surplus still have the arsenal stamp, 10 out of 10 worked flawlessly!"
4.0 5
"Bought these for a friend and 1 of them was bent. Tried to fix it but only would fit 4 rds. Oh well not worth returning no big deal. Still the others worked great."
5.0 5
"Worked just as designed in both my 91/30's all loaded up and slapped right in. Always fast shipping from CTD."
4.0 5
"They work well, some of them dont feed as well into the gun as I would like, but I imagine after you use them for a while they will all work flawlessly."
5.0 5
"Got 10 perfectly working striper clips no problems at all."
1.0 5
"Never received the Strips .It says on invoice to wait I been waiting and am still waiting."
4.0 5
"I got a bunch of these, and they have worked just fine! Got one that was broken, but hey, they're $1.50 each, so what the heck. I've cycled over 100 rounds through them, and not once have they failed me. I plan on buying another pack of them!"
2.0 5
"These stripper clips actually make it SLOWER to reload your Mosin Nagant magazine. The feed is stiff and jerky. It doesn't seem to set the bullet the proper distance in the receiver to smoothly slide into the magazine. When loading manually the bullets feed in just fine. I gave it \"2 Bullets\" because all they are good for is holding your bullets organized in storage UNTIL you are ready to feed them into your magazine. I have tried this in my Mosin Nagant, a friends with the hexagonal reciever, and a gun shops carbine version. All with the same results. DO NOT BUY WITH THE INTENTION OF USING THEM AS DIRECTED!Mosin Nagant 91/30 w/ Round Receiver in ATI Monte Carlo stock."
5.0 5
"This stripper clips work great in my Mosin Nagant. The people in the review who say they don't work aren't doing it right. Some may be 'tighter' on the rounds than others, but ALL of mine work great, and make loading much quicker. For the price it's a must have..."
5.0 5
"I had read that there was some issues with these but for the most part there we're enough positive comments to give them a try.My order arrived today, 4 days via Fed Ex ground. Great!Opened the package and everything was neatly pack. Perfect! Inspected the stripper clips to see if they are after markets or originals? All of them carry the Tula Arsenal manufacturing stamp! Matches my rifle! All of them are very clean with some cosmoline residue still on a couple but that's not an issue for me. All look Great! Ran some ammo through them and all function flawlessly! I am ordering a 2nd batch, hope it goes as well!"
4.0 5
"Honestly I don't see why everyone is hating on these! I ordered 10 and all worked flawlessly! Some were a little more shaky then others but they all worked well and when I bought some others from my local gun shop they sucked! I mean even with all my might I could not load the SOB's into my Mosin! Stick with CTD for the Clips they got the good ones here!"
5.0 5
"These stripper clips are great and durable quality. I load 5 rounds with the rims overlapping. The first round all the way to the back, the next will stop at the rim of the other. then keep going. You can load the Nagant with one hand by pushing down on the strong side with the rim all the way to the back. Turns your antiquated bolt gun into a feaseable tactical and mid range hunting arm."
5.0 5
"Wow! I ordered two sets of 10 on Monday, selecting the Fedex Smart Post delivery method (7 - 10 day) and my order came on Thursday! CTD has always been fast, but this was supersonic! The clips are clean and even have the logo of the Izhevsk arsenal, just like my M44. Thanks again, CTD."
4.0 5
"I purchased these stripper clips for a newly accquired Mosin-Nagant 91/30. They are manufactured by the Izhvesk Arsenal and work just fine for loading my rifle. I would reccomend them to anyone who has any variation of the Mosin-Nagant."
5.0 5
"I bought a ten pack of these and every one of them works flawless. Also they came looking shiny and clean. Good product and I would recommend buying these rather than the crappy ones from eBay."
5.0 5
"Just bought two packs of 10, and just got back from the range, where I used 7 of them. The only problems I had with them was a lack of technique, and I got better with each and every load. Unfortunately my shoulder protested my shooting before I could get enough practice.I'll be buying several more to fill up my go-to ammo box."
2.0 5
"These strpper clips are a pain. It is much quicker to load the rounds individually. The rounds will not feed down into the mag without wiggling and working each round. Mine went in the trash."
1.0 5
"These are cheaply made junk. They bend like nothing and don't hold the rounds correctly. The ammo just flops around in most of them and with a rimmed round that causes problems. Find so WWII ones if you really want to use stripper clips with your mosin. I bent a few to make them work pretty decent but I wouldn't trust my life to them, one round gets on top the other with these and your gun won't feed, then you have to clear it and it takes twice as long as if you just loaded them one by one."
3.0 5
"Bought these, hoping to speed up reloading. Wish they worked better. Sharp edges and almost too tight of a fit around the ammo. Makes it hard to get the gun loaded quickly. May have to do some adjustments on them to see if I can get them the way I like them."
4.0 5
"While some of these clips hold the ammo more loosely than others, I have not experienced any issues loading ammo into the Mosin. The key is to point the first round downward and have the other four follow suit, so the leading rim is always under the next round's rim. There's a good youtube video on how to do this. While I wouldn't say these are cheap, they could be better made, but are certainly better than nothing. Worth the price at least. For ten of them you can't go wrong."
3.0 5
"They work OK. Not very smooth."
4.0 5
"I'm going to start out stating that these clips aren't WWII specs. They are thin metal, bent to replicate the originals. Take away from those two statements what you will. I have used them and don't have any problems, depending on them for recreation. However, I wouldn't trust my life to them in a \"battle situation.\""
4.0 5
"I have used several of these with no problem. They could be better quality, I agree, but it's surely better than nothing. If you're having that many problems with them, I think you ought to learn how to better use them or don't order them at all."
5.0 5
"Work perfectly. The key is how you use them. If you don't do it right, they suck. If you do it right, you'll have no problem."
2.0 5
"These things aren't exactly crap, but close to it. Two out of ten worked OK. Also, using these with your standard, steel cased Russian ammo - forget it. I had a little better luck using them with the Silver Bear, zinc plated cases."
3.0 5
"The first one I tried did not work well at all. Looked closer and realized it was very rusty inside. Four out of the ten were rusty. Tried another that was clean and it worked OK. Not great, but OK. I will continue to use them since it makes loading quicker. I will also try polishing and lubing the clean ones to reduce the friction. 07-23-12 UPDATE: I took a Dremel with wire brush and cleaned the rust out of them, then used some metal polish to smooth everything. Adjusted the tangs on the ends so the shells would not be so tight coming out and coated them with silicone lube. They work pretty well now. Spending an hour to clean them up is not what I had expected."
2.0 5
"Do they work? Sure. Are they worth it? You decide. They don't hold the rounds tightly. Bottom line, I wouldn't buy this again, but I'm not going to return it either."
4.0 5
"After reading most of the reviews on this product, I made the buy. All ten of them looked new and all were clean when unpacked. CTD once again got the job done. The strippers seem flimsy, but function well enough to slap in 5 rounds quickly (quicker than doing it by hand, one at a time method). You will need to take your time and practice using them, otherwise you will be jamming. If you're thinking these will do the trick in a combat type (fire fight) situation, yes they would, but because of the materials that were used to make themand how they are made. They will not be dependable after a lot of wear and use. I give them a 4 bullets rating, because of this."

"looked as good a new, works great with a little practice"

"Work fine, no major issues noticed through a couple types of ammo. Pay attention to how the rounds are loaded into the clips or you will have problems with rim lock. Only gets 3 bullets because the quality control is off. No rust issues but the tension between clips differs greatly. You may have one clip that is so loose the rounds droop, and the next is super snug and performs like it's brand new. Otherwise, these are a worth-while buy. I may look into actual Russian clips next, instead of these Chinese knock-offs."

"Work as advertised and not a hint of rust. Well done, CTD."

"Most of them held alright. Had to monkey with a few and all seem to function now. Cheap is cheap."

"all 10 looked like new works great and looks mosin nagant athentic."

"Bought both these and original Iveshek (arrow mark) Russian armory versions elsewhere. I was shocked at how well these worked while the originals took much more force to load into my 1943 Mosin-Nagant 91/30. Clips hold the rounds well and load easily. Design is slightly different than the originals but if you look at how they work and how the receiver is machined it will be obvious why they are an improvement."

"most of them worked well, I havnt tried all of them yet, but look good most fuction well and not hard to figure out like some have stated. if you have used strip clips....you can use these. I just wish they were a bit cheaper, but maybe one day."

"Great buy! All of them work just fine, some are a little tighter then others but all you have to do is barely bend it so if your looking for a good buy get these."

"they bind in the slot, have to work to get them fed in. nothing you would want to have to depend on in a pinch or combat..... of course my weapon is a model is a M91/38 1944 with very little use......however they do keep the ammo from rattling around in the pouch"

"The clips work well and don\uFFFDt bind in my 1942 model 91/30. They are used and show signs of wear but still work well. I enjoy being able to pre load and keep on hand. Coming from a military background it is not perfect but works well for the civilian marksman."

"Got them in today and filled about 5 of them. Tried 2 of them in my Mosin. Neither would work. The bullets would bind in the clip and would not feed into the mag. Completely worthless!"

"I received the yesterday and tested all 10 of them and they all seem to work fine. I don't see where people are having trouble i guess its in the technique."

"My experience with this product is 'take it or leave it'. Other than being available, I didn't much care for the clips. It's difficult to keep the cartridges from shifting in the clip, leading to 'Rimlock' when fed into the action. They require some elbow grease and a few bleeding cuts to feed so that they can be loaded into the rifle's magazine. Out of ten clips, one was rather loose and would not hold the first/last cartridge; and one was rusty. So 8/10 alright-ish stripper clips is what I got. Wish better luck to others."

"None will feed into my Mosin. 3 or 4 were rusty. My main complaint is the fact they just won't feed into the Mosin at all. I gave them 2 bullets because it does hold my bullets in place to keep them from clinking in my pouch. Mosin is a 91/30 1942."

"Not very easy to use out of the box. I fixed that with pliers, but the cartridges still wiggle and often wind up with the rims backward."

"I bought 1 set of these for my Mosin 91/30 Hex. I read a bunch of the reviews. After looking them over, running a couple spent casings through them, cleaning them up, and loading them= I have 5 that work rather smoothly. As another reviewer said, it helps to know how to feed strippers into a rifle, or magazine. They fit pretty loosely into my receiver, but, maybe that's how they are.. The rest of them are just kind of tight, not giving up on them yet. Thank You CTD."

"I loaded four of them and went out to my niece's in the country. We fired them all off and all worked fine. Much easier than loading one at a time. I will say, however, that the Mauser clips work better."

"Clips arrived. A little tough to use. I applied a thin coat of gun grease now they function without fail. Have purchased two more sets"

"They work pretty good on my Mosin M44. But the one thing I had trouble is putting 5 rounds in sometimes don't work? When I do 4 rounds they work great!"

"Arrived somewhat tight-fitting on milsurp cartridges; with a loading or two, became easier to prepare and strip into the rifles. Most important: UNlike the last group I ordered (from elsewhere), these FIT IN BOTH RIFLES perfectly (M91/30 and SVT40)."

"It's a lot easier to just slide the rounds in one at a time than to use this thing. But, it completes the set."
